Hezbollah held a funeral in Rawdat Jannat al-Zahraa in Kafaat for Hussein Salem Khalil, known as “Abu Ali,” and his son Mahdi, with political, religious, and local figures in attendance. A procession carried their coffins, wrapped in Hezbollah flags, from Imam al-Askari Complex. Beirut regional official Hussein Fadlallah praised the resistance, warning against undermining its principles. Abu Ali, a former bodyguard of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in a zion*st airstrike on Iran last month.

zion*st colony Kills Over 300 People in Gaza in Past Two Days as Proposed Ceasefire in Balance
zion*st occupation forces have killed more than 300 Palestinians across the besieged Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours as a possible ceasefire hangs in the balance.
In a statement on Thursday, the Gaza Government Media Office said that the occupying regime had “committed 26 bloody massacres” in the past two days across the war-torn territory, killing 300 Palestinians and wounding hundreds more, Al Jazeera reported.
It added that at least 73 Palestinians had lost their lives since Thursday morning alone, including 33 people at aid distribution sites run by the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which is backed by zion*sts and the United States.
Attacks also hit a shelter tent in al-Mawasi and a school housing displaced people near Gaza City, the media office further said, noting that civilians in overcrowded shelters, public spaces, markets, and food lines have been among the victims of these intensified strikes.
The report also described chaotic scenes where desperate civilians, lining for aid, were met with sudden gunfire without warning, with survivors recounting bullets ripping through crowds, while emergency services were unable to respond due to constant shooting.
GHF has been tasked by the Israeli regime and the US government to distribute aid in Gaza since late May, when the regime partially eased its blockade after mounting international condemnation and warnings of imminent famine.
Its operations, however, have been stymied by chaotic scenes and daily reports of Israeli forces firing on aid seekers waiting to collect rations from GHF installations.
American contractors guarding the GHF aid sites have reportedly been using live ammunition and stun grenades against civilians, with some contractors expressing concern over the lack of oversight and the aggressive tactics used by the unqualified and heavily armed security personnel.
According to the statement, more than 500 Palestinians have been killed and almost 4,000 injured while trying to access or distribute food from GHF installations.
“People described scenes of horror as they wait for hours just hoping to get their hands on basic food supplies, only to be met with sudden and unprovoked gunfire … I’ve been speaking to a number of survivors this morning, and they told me such heartbreaking testimonies and they shared the horrific scenes that unfolded near the GHF-run aid centers,” an Al Jazeera reporter said.
Palestinian resistance groups in a joint statement recently said the real aim behind the US aid distribution centers in Gaza is to dismantle the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, and destroy the Palestinian cause.
They also emphasized that the aid centers’ moves are aimed at accelerating the forced displacement, ethnic cleansing, and evacuation of the people and residents of Gaza as part of US President Donald Trump’s “criminal plans.”
The United Nations and other aid groups refuse to cooperate with the GHF system, saying it contravenes the humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality, and independence.
“The distribution organization is aimed at using food as bait to attract starving people, to terrorize them, and to kill them. The shooting of people in food lines is a war crime,” Dr. Mads Gilbert, an emergency medicine doctor and professor, who’s provided healthcare in Gaza for more than 30 years, said of the GFH operation to Al Jazeera.
The developments come as Trump urged the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement on Tuesday to accept his proposed 60-day ceasefire, saying that Tel Aviv had agreed to finalize such a deal.
“Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60-day CEASEFIRE,” he said on his Truth Social.
Trump’s push for a ceasefire comes as the US government has approved a $510 million weapons sale to the Israeli regime, reinforcing Washington’s military backing as the regime’s genocide in Gaza reaches its 21st month.
Since October 7, 2023, when the Israeli regime began its campaign of genocide in Gaza, it has killed at least 57,012 Palestinians and wounded 134,592, according to the health ministry of Gaza.Al Masirah report

Iran reaffirms NPT commitment after halting IAEA cooperation
Iran says it remains committed to international agreements but will now coordinate nuclear oversight through its Security Council after zion*st and US strikes on its facilities
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed on 2 July that Tehran remains committed to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and its Safeguards Agreement, pushing back against claims by the German Foreign Office that Iran’s suspension of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) removes oversight of its nuclear program.
“Iran remains committed to the NPT and its Safeguards Agreement,” Araghchi said in a post on X, replying to a post by the German Foreign Office.
“In accordance with the new legislation by Majlis, sparked by the unlawful attacks against our nuclear facilities by Israel and the US, our cooperation with @iaeaorg will be channeled through Iran’s Supreme National Security Council for obvious safety and security reasons,” Araghchi added. He accused Germany of backing the strikes, saying Berlin’s support for the Israeli bombing of safeguarded nuclear sites, as well as the US attack on Iranian facilities, violated international law, the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and the UN Charter.
“Iranians were already put off by Germany’s Nazi-style backing of genocide in Gaza,” the foreign minister added, citing Berlin’s support for Saddam Hussein during the Iran–Iraq war and recent calls for “zero enrichment” in Iran as further proof that Germany has repudiated its Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) commitments.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian formally ordered all administrative bodies on Wednesday to implement a parliamentary directive passed on 25 June, formally suspending cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog.
Further fueling Tehran’s mistrust is the IAEA’s long-standing use of MOSAIC, a US-developed surveillance platform embedded in its inspection regime. Although not publicly cited by officials, the tool’s integration with Israeli and US intelligence-linked systems has raised serious concerns over the agency’s neutrality.
Iran says the IAEA has lost credibility and accuses the agency of secretly passing data to Tel Aviv. Inspectors have been denied access to bombed facilities, surveillance cameras have been dismantled, and IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi’s request to visit the sites was rejected.
Araghchi called the IAEA chief’s insistence on visiting “meaningless and possibly even malign in intent.”The Cradle Media report

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman: Serious damage done to nuclear facilities
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said during a press conference on Tuesday that Israeli and US military attacks have caused serious damage to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear infrastructure.
US strikes hit the Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan nuclear sites on 22 June, during Israel’s 12 day war on Iran that killed 935 people and injured over 5,600, including 140 women and children.
She added that an Israeli strike on Tehran’s Evin Prison killed 79 people and damaged hundreds of homes.
Asked about talks with Washington, Mohajerani said no negotiations are planned and none are imminent.

Lebanese lawmaker says Hezbollah won’t lay down arms amid US-BACKED zion*st colony attacks

“The Lebanese have the right to protect their country, and the state has the duty to defend the sovereignty, life, and dignity of the citizens, and not to bow to the enemy’s dictates. It is the weapon of the resistance that liberated Lebanon and protects it, and we will remain committed to it,” Ibrahim al-Moussawi, a member of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, stated on Tuesday night.
The Lebanese lawmaker added that the occupying Israeli regime, which claims invincibility, has been defeated in all formative stages against Lebanese people and resistance fighters since 1982.
He added it was Hezbollah that created the deterrence equation and liberated the Lebanese territories, noting that the resistance movement has always protected Lebanon and given it pride and dignity.
The Lebanese legislator also stated that the Zionist regime has been in a state of fear following the creation of the deterrence equation by Hezbollah.
Moussawi finally denounced attempts to “brainwash” and “present normalization with Israel as a path to peace,” stressing that the agreements signed between the countries and the Tel Aviv regime “have brought neither prosperity nor security, but more humiliation.”Since the start of the November 27 ceasefire between Tel Aviv and the Lebanese group Hezbollah, Israeli occupation forces have been launching assaults on Lebanon, including airstrikes throughout the Arab nation, breaching the agreement.
On January 27, 2025, Lebanon announced its decision to extend the ceasefire with Israel until February 18.
Although the deadline of February 18 has passed, Israel continues to maintain its occupation of five significant regions in southern Lebanon, namely Labbouneh, Mount Blat, Owayda Hill, Aaziyyeh, and Hammamis Hill, all situated near the border.
Lebanon has condemned the continued presence of Israeli military forces, viewing it as a violation of the ceasefire agreement and the established timeline for withdrawal. Senior officials in Beirut have expressed their commitment to take “all necessary measures” to remove the occupying troops from the nation.PressTV report

Never-ending story of the global North exploits on the global South
Trump on Truth Social is breaking the news of Vietnam’s renewed colony designation.
“It is my “Great Honor” to announce that I have just made a Trade Deal with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam after speaking with To Lam, the Highly Respected General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. It will be a Great Deal of Cooperation between our two Countries. The Terms are that Vietnam will pay the United States a 20% Tariff on any and all goods sent into our Territory, and a 40% Tariff on any Transshipping. In return, Vietnam will do something that they have never done before, give the United States of America TOTAL ACCESS to their Markets for Trade. In other words, they will “OPEN THEIR MARKET TO THE UNITED STATES,” meaning that, we will be able to sell our product into Vietnam at ZERO Tariff. It is my opinion that the SUV or, as it is sometimes referred to, Large Engine Vehicle, which does so well in the United States, will be a wonderful addition to the various product lines within Vietnam. Dealing with General Secretary To Lam, which I did personally, was an absolute pleasure. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Syrian warlords behind torture, kidnapping of ethnic minorities benefit from US sanctions relief

Sayf Abu Bakr and Abu Amsha were involved in war crimes against Syrian Kurds, and played a part in this year’s coastal massacres against Alawites
US President Donald Trump’s executive order lifting the majority of sanctions on Syria earlier this week included the removal of sanctions on two notorious militia leaders involved in war crimes against minorities.
As part of the executive order, Mohammad al-Jasim (Abu Amsha) of the Suleiman Shah Brigade and Sayf Abu Bakr of the Hamza Division were relieved of sanctions.
Their names have been removed from the Specially Designated Nationals List of the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
The militias were formerly part of a Turkish-backed coalition of armed groups known as the Syrian National Army (SNA), which were incorporated into the new Syrian military and Defense Ministry in the months that followed the collapse of former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s government last year.
Abu Amsha is now the commander of the new Syrian army’s 25th Division, while Sayf Abu Bakr leads the 76th Division.
In August 2023, an OFAC press release named the two leaders in connection with serious human rights abuses in the northern city of Afrin. These included kidnappings, sexual violence, and extortion targeting both Kurds and Arabs.1/ Their crimes were detailed in Aug 2023 via an OFAC press release, citing serious human rights abuses in Afrin: kidnappings, sexual violence, ransom extortion of Kurds and Arabs. These men were sanctioned under E.O. 13894.
They were also implicated in the March 2025 massacres against Alawite civilians on the Syrian coast.
Late last month, both individuals were targeted by EU sanctions for their role in the massacres, which resulted in the deaths of thousands of Alawites.
An investigation released by Reuters this week revealed that Syria’s General Security Service (GSS) – made up predominantly of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) forces – played a direct role in the March massacres.
The so-called ‘Syrian government’ has claimed that the GSS was deployed to protect, rather than massacre, Alawite civilians during the three-day killing spree.
The security services had already been widely suspected of participating in the killings.
An investigation was launched by the Syrian government after the massacres – but the results of the probe have not been made clear.
Trump’s executive order removed all sanctions against Syria except for those targeting former president Assad and those associated with him.
The US president initially announced his intention to lift Syria sanctions during a landmark trip to Riyadh in May.
In the same visit, Trump met Syria’s self-proclaimed president Jolani – previously an Al-Qaeda chief and before that a leader of ISIS.The Cradle Media report

Iran sets condition for resuming nuclear talks: US must end military threats
Iran’s top diplomat has set a clear condition for the resumption of nuclear negotiations with the United States: an end to US military threats. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, speaking in an interview with CBS, stated that talks between Tehran and Washington cannot resume until the US ceases its military posturing. “To decide whether to resume talks, we must first ensure that Washington will not again exploit the talks for military aggression,” Araghchi said, adding, “The doors of diplomacy will never be closed.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the top Iranian diplomat underlined that enrichment is an advanced, science-based industry. “If this industry is damaged or destroyed, we can quickly repair the damage and overcome the setbacks to make progress in this industry again. Enrichment technology and knowledge cannot be destroyed by bombing.”“Our country’s peaceful nuclear program has become a source of national pride and dignity,” he further cited.
He also stressed that Iran has gone through 12 days of imposed war; therefore, the Iranian nation will not easily back down from enrichment.
“During the war, we demonstrated our strength and will to defend ourselves, and we will continue to do so in the event of any aggression.”
On June 13, ‘Israel’ launched a blatant and unprovoked aggression against Iran, assassinating many high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.
More than a week later, the United States also jumped on the bandwagon and bombed three Iranian nuclear sites in a grave violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
In response, Iranian armed forces targeted strategic sites across the occupied territories as well as the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest American military base in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran, through its successful retaliatory operations against both the Israeli regime and the US, managed to impose a halt to the illegal aggression.Al Manar report

US approves $510 million arms deal for the zion*st colony amid Gaza genocide
The US government has approved a $510 million weapons sale to the zion*st colony, reinforcing Washington’s military backing as the regime’s genocide in Gaza reaches its 21st month.
The sale, approved on June 30, includes over 7,000 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) guidance kits – 3,845 KMU-558B/B kits for the BLU-109 bomb body, and 3,280 KMU-572 F/B kits for the MK-82 bomb body.
Additionally, the agreement covers technical support, engineering assistance, and logistics services provided by the US government.
The US State Department stated that the arms transfer is intended to “assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready [military] capability,” calling it “vital to US national security interests.”
The arms deal was approved through the Foreign Military Sales program and officially notified to Congress on Monday.
Boeing serves as the primary contractor, with a portion of the order likely sourced from existing US military inventories.
The US government claimed that the sale “will not alter the basic military balance in the region.”
In February, the US State Department announced the approval of the sale of more than $7.4 billion in weapons to Israel, which has used lethal American weapons in its genocidal war on Gaza.
These included thousands of MK 84 bombs, penetrator warheads, and Caterpillar D9 bulldozers.
“The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to US national interests to assist Israel,” the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said in a statement.
On May 27, Tel Aviv reported receiving more than 90,000 tons of American military equipment over 600 days, with the latest shipments marking the 800th delivery. Israel stated that these arms have played a “key role” in its Gaza operations.
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the US president earlier this year, declaring, “Donald Trump is the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House. He’s shown it by sending us all the munitions that were being held up.”
Since October 7, 2023, when the Israeli regime began its campaign of genocide in Gaza, it has killed at least 56,674 Palestinians and wounded 134,105, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
Despite increasing international criticism over the regime’s heinous crimes in Gaza, the US continues to provide military support to Israel and ignores warnings that such transfers make it complicit in the war and further destruction in the territory.Al Masirah report
