The ministry also revealed that a Zionist drone attack on a car on Anjar-Masnaa highway left five martyrs, including two Syrians and three Lebanese, as well as 10 injuries.

Massive gatherings of Hezbollah and Amal supporters to protest the government decision on Resistance arsenal
The Lebanese government approved the objectives of the US proposal submitted by the envoy Thomas Barrack pertaining to the ceasefire agreement, according to the Information Minister Paul Morcos who addressed the reporters after a stormy session.
Morcos claimed that the US proposal stipulates the withdrawal of the zionist occupation forces from the positions they still hold in South Lebanon, the support for the Lebanese Army, and the dismemberment of the non-governmental parties.However, a detailed study of Barrack’s paper affirms that the zionist enemy is not obliged by the proposal to abide by commitments related to the withdrawal and halt of attacks.
The Lebanese cabinet had tasked on Tuesday the Army with devising a plan to confine the weapons to the state before the year end. The plan should be ready to be approved on August 31.
In objection to President Joseph Aoun’s and PM Nawaf Salam’s rejection of postponing the discussion of the US proposal and cancelling the timeline approved during Tuesday’s session, all the Shia ministers–Tamara Al-Zein, Rakan Nassereddine, Mohammad Haidar and Fadi Makki left the session.
Accordingly, the ministerial session lost its constitutional legitimacy, knowing that, during the previous session, Hezbollah and Amal Movement ministers quit the meeting.
The zionist enemy launched, during the Lebanese ministerial session aimed at disarming the Resistance, two air raids on Baalbek and Anjar, killing six civilians and injuring 10 others.

Aside of the narration of direct accounts by survivors or Hibakusha [a survivor of the atomic bombings], the text concentrates on technicalities of both atomic bombings and provides an account of the American censorship on Japan under the occupation’s Civil Censorship Detatchment.
Even phrases such as “Many innocent people were killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki” were banned.
The, by the Japanese people unwanted, research on survivors by the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission, whereby the data was collected and forwarded to the American Military data bases, without provision of treatment for the survivors who suffered from the injuries and the effects of the radiation.
The author provides inside into the survivors’ relatives’ lives who cared for them and those who lost every single member of their families.
There is a passage that is dedicated to survivors and the relatives of those who had lost their lives, vividly describe the trauma and pain driving them to commit suicide.
In Chapter Time Suspended, it sais, “In 1955, a nineteen-year-old girl who ten years earlier had lost her mother on the day of the bombing and had herself been afflicted with poor health ever since, walked to the railroad tracks, placed her sandals and umbrella next to the rails, and threw herself in front of a moving train.”
A long time ago, I had read a text on the atomic bombings, indicating that the Japanese had already capitulated when the bombs hit.
According to this book, the dates for the bombings were preset.
Truman had already ordered the bombing of Hiroshima-scheduled for early August ‘as soon as weather will permit.’
Less than two weeks later, at 8:15 am on August 6, 1945, a uranium bomb nicknamed Little Boy detonated 1.900 feet above Hiroshima’s Shima Hospital, decimating the city and its residents with an explosive force equal to sixteen thousand tons of GNT. One hundred and forty thousand people were killed that day or died from injuries by the end of the year.

Most certainly, the Americans would have gone ahead with the atomic bombings weather the Japanese capitulated or not.
However, when Japan capitulated, Truman’s orders were implemented: Approximately 740 B-29s dropped bombs on specific targets, and an estimated 160 more delivered over 12 million pounds of demolition and incendiary bombs on multiple urban areas, causing the deaths of thousands more Japanese.
Once again, we become witnesses of UN’s bias and double standards.
Out of 193 United Nations member states, 190 have signed the NPT – only India, zionist colony, and Pakistan have not-making the NPT the most successful international disarmament agreement since the beginning of nuclear weapons development.
The Treaty, which came into force in 1970, binds signatory nations to an agreement that only the five current nuclear weapons states – the US, Russia, China, France, and the United Kingdom- may posses nuclear weapons, and it mandates the nuclear nations’ ongoing commitment to the long-term goal of complete disarmament.
No wonder the US assumes the role of the world police and starts randomly bombing up and down Iranian nuclear sites.

Amal Movement: Government Acting Contrary to President Inaugural Speech, Tomorrow’s Session “a Chance to Restore National Solidarity”
Amal Movement issued on Wednesday a statement which affirmed that Nawaf Salam government is acting contrary to the President’s inaugural address and its own ministerial statement, adding that, therefore, tomorrow’s session is an opportunity for correction and a return to Lebanese solidarity as it was.
“Since November 27, 2024, the date of the issuance of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy, Lebanon has fully complied with the terms of the agreement and continues to adhere to its obligations to fully implement this agreement, which was approved by the previous and current governments.”
“However, the Israeli enemy, since the first moments, has not complied but continues to persist in its aggression, with airstrikes and assassinations using drones, violating Lebanese airspace and continuing to occupy vast swaths of Lebanese territory, including the so-called ‘Five Hills’, in addition to preventing the residents of border villages from returning to them after their complete destruction.”
The statement added, “Based on the above, the Lebanese government, which is rushing to offer more free concessions to the Israeli enemy through new agreements, should have focused its efforts on consolidating the ceasefire and putting an end to the Israeli killing machine, which has so far claimed the lives of hundreds of Lebanese citizens, both martyred and wounded.”
“Thus, the government is acting contrary to what was stated in the President’s inaugural speech and in violation of its ministerial statement. Therefore, tomorrow’s session is an opportunity for correction and a return to Lebanese solidarity as it was.

UK now using private US-Leased planes for Gaza spy missions: Report
The UK has moved its spy flight operations over the Gaza Strip in support of Israel’s genocidal war from directly-operated Royal Air Force (RAF) planes to aircraft belonging to a US military contractor, an investigative report reveals.
The report, published by Palestine Deep Dive on Monday, said the RAF has since December 2023 been flying Beechcraft King Air 350 planes over Gaza and sharing the intelligence with zionist colony, but the program appears to have ceased and is instead being undertaken by new US-leased private planes.
The British planes, which are called Shadow R1s in UK service, have flown near-daily from RAF Akrotiri, Britain’s sprawling airbase in Cyprus, for almost the entire duration of Israel’s aggression on Gaza.
The routes flown to support the Israeli occupation forces in the besieged territory were exposed as one of the US plane’s pilots apparently forgot to turn off its transponder while over the Palestinian territory.
“For the 20 months of UK spy flights over Gaza for Israel, the planes had turned off their transponder about halfway to Gaza so activity over Gaza had stayed secret,” the report said.
“On 28 July, however, the newly-trained US plane took off at 8 pm and forgot to turn off its transponder. The flight path of a surveillance flight from RAF Akrotiri was visible for the first time. It shows the plane reaching Gaza at 9 pm and circling over southern Gaza for an hour and half, concentrating its surveillance efforts over Khan Younis and surrounding areas.”
The new planes belong to Straight Flight Nevada Commercial Leasing LLC, a company based in Sparks, Nevada, on the west coast of the United States. It is a subsidiary of the larger Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), which was the 53rd largest military contractor in the world in 2021.
The Nevada-based SNC, as the report said, operates a “contractor-owned, contractor-operated” (COCO) aircraft program specifically for surveillance flights, providing aircraft and pilots to clients.
The report stressed that the COCO system is designed for clients to operate spy planes with limited oversight and accountability and, “There is evidence that the US military has leased Sierra Nevada Corporation planes.”
Deep Dive said it tracked the new US plane flying for three hours over Khan Yunis on July 28 and, “The following day, Israeli airstrikes with civilian casualties were reported in the same area.”
Sierra Nevada Corporation has also worked extensively with the US military to develop its intelligence-gathering capabilities, having been awarded various multi-billion-dollar contracts to serve as the lead system integrator for its future long-range spy planes.
Backed by the US, the Israeli regime has been ravaging the besieged Gaza Strip since Operation al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023, killing more than 60,000 Palestinians and wounding upwards of 150,000 others up to now. Most of the victims are women and children, as indiscriminate Israeli attacks target schools, mosques, and even tents that shelter displaced Palestinians.
Israel’s relentless bombardment campaign has devastated the territory and led to food shortages, famine, and acute starvation.
Despite increasing international criticism over the regime’s heinous crimes in Gaza, the US continues to provide military support to Israel and ignores warnings that such transfers make it complicit in the war and further destruction in the territory.
In late May, Tel Aviv reported receiving more than 90,000 tons of American military equipment over 600 days, stating that the arms have played a “key role” in its Gaza operations.Al Masirah report

In the border town of Mays Al-Jabal, a drone dropped two sound bombs–the first near an excavator removing rubble in the Al-Qasayer neighborhood, and the second over the “Kroum Al-Sharaki” area.

In this context, Lebanese official authorities recorded a total of:
1,918 land violations
2,203 air violations
126 maritime violations
This brings the total number of violations and attacks to 4,247 since the ceasefire took effect on November 27, 2025.

Lebanese cabinet session on the issue of weapons has begun in Baabda Palace.
