Lebanon harbours 1.5 Syrian refugees, including the latest exodus caused by HTS-LED Alawite genocide
Escalating Conflict Forces Thousands of Syrians to Seek Refuge in Lebanon –
Around 13,000 Syrians have fled to northern Lebanon since violence erupted in Syria’s coastal region on March 6. The influx, mainly into Akkar governorate, challenges local municipalities in providing shelter, food, and healthcare. The Crisis and Disaster Management Room reported refugees are staying in families’ homes or in halls and warehouses.
The violence, blamed on pro-Assad militants, has resulted in over 4,700 civilian deaths, including 1,805 field executions. Most victims are from the Alawite minority. Armed groups targeted families, asking whether they were Alawites or Sunnis before killing or sparing them. Video footage has emerged showing executions in homes.
The international community condemned the killings. Thousands sought protection at Russia’s Hmeimim airbase, while others fled to northern Lebanon, which already hosts 1.5 million Syrian refugees, 755,426 of whom are registered with the United Nations.

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists violate ceasefire with Lebanon, occupy and loot Lebanese towns
Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists are occupying the Lebanese side of the town of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali and are burning and looting homes, displacing hundreds.
Syrian military forces led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have remained in Lebanese territory and are looting homes and property despite a ceasefire agreement aimed at stopping two days of violent border clashes and attacks on Lebanon by Damascus’s forces.
“Forces of the new Syrian administration penetrated five kilometers into Lebanese territory at 2:00 am and continued their advance throughout the morning, expanding their control over the town,” said Ali Mohammad Nasser al-Din, the mayor of the town of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali located on the border – part of which lies in Lebanon’s territory.
According to the mayor, the Syrian forces seized a public school in the town and have displaced 500 families living in the area. “Homes were burned and looted during the military operations,” Nasser told Annahar.
Lebanese forces have reportedly reached the entrance of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali for an operation to demarcate the border with Syria.
Lebanese MP Ihab Hamadeh told Al Mayadeen that the Syrian forces are “occupiers in every sense of the word, and it is the one leading the battle.”
“There is an occupation of Lebanese territory, and we are raising our voice on this matter to the president of the Republic, knowing that the army is confronting the occupiers,” he said, adding that “it won’t be long before the army enters the town of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali, as it is currently being looted by the occupying militants.”
He added that the Lebanese army has reinforced its presence along the entire border with Syria.
The Syrian and Lebanese Defense Ministries reached a ceasefire agreement on Monday evening to end the fighting between HTS-led Syrian forces on one hand, and the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and Lebanese tribesmen on the other.
“An agreement between the Syrian and Lebanese Defense Ministries stipulates a ceasefire on the border and enhanced coordination and cooperation between the two sides,” the Syrian Defense Ministry announced.
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has appointed a ministerial committee aimed at implementing strict measures for border control and smuggling, as well as proper coordination between Beirut and Damascus.
“What is happening on the eastern and northeastern borders cannot continue,” said Lebanese President Joseph Aoun.
Syrian military attacks on Lebanon over the past two days have killed seven Lebanese and injured over 50, including civilians and children. Eleven Syrian army members were killed in clashes with the Bekaa tribesmen and Lebanese forces.
Syrian authorities claimed they were fighting Hezbollah on the border, despite the Lebanese resistance movement issuing a statement categorically denying its involvement in any of the recent events.
The fighting began several hours after three HTS fighters were found dead inside Lebanese territory and were handed over to Damascus by Lebanon’s Armed Forces (LAF) and the Red Cross on 16 March.
The Syrian Defense Ministry’s media office told Syrian state media outlet SANA that the “Hezbollah militia” kidnapped the three fighters on the border, took them to Lebanese territory, and “executed them on the spot.” Other reports say the three were already in Lebanese territory when they were killed.
Syrian forces retaliated by kidnapping and killing two young Lebanese men and leaving their bodies in the Matraba area where they were found on Monday.
The renewed fighting comes over one month after heavy clashes erupted in early February between Syrian military forces and Lebanese tribesmen. At the time, Syrian forces deployed troops to set up checkpoints in what they said was an attempt to thwart smuggling.
After agreeing with the LAF, the tribes withdrew from the border, and the fighting came to an end.The Cradle Media report

Updated: Three killed, over dozen wounded as Zionist strikes hit military bases in Syria
Zionist warplanes have carried out a series of strikes on former Syrian army outposts near the capital Damascus and in the southern Dara’a province, in the latest string of attacks targeting the country’s military infrastructure following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government.
The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that at least three civilians lost their lives and more than a dozen others were injured late on Monday when a string of aerial raids hit military installations in Dara’a.
The Britain-based monitoring group said a number of airstrikes targeted the 132nd Brigade in Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhood.
Flames went up into the sky following the attacks, as medics and firefighters rushed to the area to provide medical assistance to and protect people affected by the blaze.
Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Zionist jets continued to circle over southern Syria following the assaults.
Zionist fighter jets also attacked the 175th Regiment in Izraa town north of the city of Dara’a.
In a statement, the Israeli military said it launched a series of airstrikes in southern Syria, “striking military targets” belonging to the former Syrian army.
Warplanes struck command centers and military sites, where, according to the statement, weapons and military vehicles had been stored.
“The presence of military assets in southern Syria poses a threat to Israel,” the military said.
Later on, Israeli military aircraft launched airstrikes targeting a number of sites close to al-Kiswah city, located approximately 13 kilometers (8 miles) south of the capital Damascus.
There were no immediate reports available on possible casualties or the extent of damage caused.
Militant factions, led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, toppled Assad’s government on December 8, 2024.
Since the collapse of Assad’s government, the Israeli military has been launching airstrikes against military installations, facilities, and arsenals belonging to Syria’s now-defunct army.
Israel has been widely condemned for termination of the 1974 ceasefire agreement with Syria, and exploiting the chaos in the Arab nation in the wake of Assad’s downfall to make a land grab.
The United Nations has condemned ongoing Israeli attacks inside Syrian territory and continuing violations in and around the buffer zone created as part of a 1974 ceasefire agreement with Damascus.PressTV report

Netanyahu, the “Master of Murderers” seeks bloodshed
Following a night of intense bombardment, the IOF issued new evacuation orders, threatening to bomb areas across the entire perimeter of the Gaza Strip.
The military’s Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, published a map identifying “dangerous combat zones,” once again forcing thousands of civilians to flee their homes under the threat of imminent destruction. The targeted areas include the towns of Beit Hanoun, Khuza’a, and the Abasan suburbs of Khan Yunis.
This marks the first evacuation order issued by the military since the announcement of the ceasefire.
During the war, IOF established a buffer zone within the 60-kilometer perimeter of the Gaza Strip, occupying approximately 16% of its territory.
Zionist MK Ofer Cassif slams Netanyahu: What is going on is not a collapse of the ceasefire, but rather a deliberate attempt by the master of murderers to preserve his horrific government – Al Manar Live News.

Statement by the Spox of the Yemeni Armed Forces General Yahya Saree
Aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman attacked for the third time within 48 hours by YAF.
Full Statement
In retaliation to the continued brutal American aggression against our country, on the anniversary of the great Battle of Badr, and as an extension of Islam’s march against tyranny and arrogance, these operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces come as
Over the past few hours, the Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman in the northern Red Sea with two cruise missiles and two drones, and targeted a US destroyer with a cruise missile and four drones.
The targeting of the aircraft carrier is the third in the past 48 hours. The enemy was struck by a state of confusion, which prompted many of its warships to retreat towards the northern Red Sea region, and an air attack that was being prepared against our country was thwarted.
The US aggressor bears all the consequences of militarizing the Red Sea and expanding the scope of confrontation by continuing its aggression against Yemen, which negatively impacts international shipping traffic.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that they will not cease targeting all hostile targets in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the aggression against our country stops. They are prepared, relying on Allah, to confront any American or Israeli escalation in the coming hours and days.
The Yemeni Armed Forces salute all our beloved Yemeni people who took to the streets today in response to the call of Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi (may Allah protect him) on Al-Furqan Day, the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, to affirm their faith-based, jihadist stance in support of the Palestinian people and in rejection of the American aggression against our country.
The Yemeni Armed Forces salute the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and affirm that they will continue to ban the passage of Israeli ships from the declared zone of operations until the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted.

Horrific overnight massacres across Gaza as the Zionist colony bombs unprotected civilians, mostly children
US-BACKED pariah colony has killed at least 342 Palestinians, mostly children and women, throughout the Gaza Strip’s entire expanse during a large-scale violation the ceasefire agreement.
Reports said those killed in included at least 77 people in Khan Younis in southern Gaza and at least 20 people in Gaza City in the north.
Hundred of others were also wounded during the rampant bloodletting, Palestinian news agency Sama reported on Tuesday.
According to the agency, the raids did not spare any part of the already war-battered and mostly devastated coastal sliver, targeting residential structures, schools, and refugee centers.
Reporting on the fresh deadly escalation, Qatar’s Al Jazeera television network reported that explosions had rang out throughout Gaza’s northeastern areas, where the regime’s spy aircraft and warplanes have been engaging in extensive overflight.
The ceasefire took effect in January in the hope of ending the regime’s 15-month-plus war of genocide against Gaza that began after Hamas and its fellow resistance groups from the Palestinian territory launched a historic operation against the occupied Palestinian territories.
The operation saw the fighters venture deep inside the territories, encircling strategic Israeli bases and ensnaring 240 Zionists, including some American-Israelis.
Since initiation of the ceasefire deal, the regime has been routinely violating it besides blocking the entry of vital aid items into Gaza, including foodstuffs, medicine, and water, in an attempt to pressure Hamas into releasing those of the captives, who remained in the group’s captivity, in one batch.
Hamas has released 25 living captives and the remains of eight others in exchange for more than 2,000 Palestinian prisoners during the implementation of the first phase of the deal.
The movement has denounced Tel Aviv’s efforts at sabotaging the agreement, urging that release of the remaining captives is conditioned upon implementation of a second phase.
Earlier, the regime’s Ma’ariv newspaper reported, citing its sources, that Tel Aviv had turned down a proposal for, what it called, “selective release” of the American captives.
The sources said the regime has told the United States that diplomatic efforts towards enabling release of the remaining captives had ended.
They also said the regime’s so-called “security cabinet” had allowed its prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and minister for military affairs Israel Katz to determine the time for resumption of the genocide.
Netanyahu’s office, meanwhile, alleged that the regime had resumed its military attacks on Gaza after, what it termed as, Hamas’ turning down Washington’s proposals for extension of the ceasefire.
This is while Hamas has been constantly engaging with Qatari and Egyptian mediators towards keeping up the ceasefire, despite the disruptive Israeli efforts.More than 48,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have perished during the genocide in addition to hundreds more who have been killed as a result of the Israeli violations of the deal.
Trump’s green light
The White House says Israel consulted with US President Donald Trump’s administration before launching its overnight wave of strikes in Gaza.
“The Trump administration and the White House were consulted by the Israelis on their attacks in Gaza tonight,” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said.
Hamas: Israel exposes captives to ‘unknown fate’
Reacting to the most recent massacres, Hamas voiced reprehension over Netanyahu and his “Nazi” administration’s resuming their aggression and genocidal war against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip.
“We hold the criminal Netanyahu and the Nazi-Zionist occupation fully responsible for the repercussions of the treacherous aggression on Gaza, and for the defenseless civilians and our besieged Palestinian people, who are subjected to a brutal war and a systematic policy of starvation,” it added.
The regime, the group lamented, had decided to “overturn the ceasefire,” exposing the captives to an “unknown fate.”
Hamas has previously reported the death of scores of the captives as a result of incessant and indiscriminate Israeli bombardments of Gaza.
“We demand that the mediators hold Netanyahu and the Zionist occupation fully responsible for violating and overturning the agreement,” the group asserted.
Hamas also urged the Arab world, including its major institutions, as well as notable international organizations to take a firms stance concerning the aggression.
The United Nations and its Security Council has to press Tel Aviv into abiding by the UNSC Resolution that mandates an end to the Israeli aggression against Gaza and complete withdrawal of all Israeli forces from the territory, the group underscored.
It finally called for global protests, urging that “the free people of the world have to raise their voice in rejection of the resumption of the Zionist war of extermination against our people in the Gaza Strip.”
Netanyahu’s lifeline to escape internal crises
Senior Hamas official Izzat al-Rishq said, “Netanyahu has decided to resume the genocidal war, considering it a lifeline to escape his internal crises.”
“The enemy will not achieve through war and destruction what it failed to achieve through negotiations.”
He added that, “Mediators are required to reveal the truth about Netanyahu’s betrayal of the ceasefire agreement and to hold him solely responsible for fueling the fire in Gaza and the region.”
Al-Rishq asserted that, “Military pressure and brutal aggression will not break the will of our people and our resistance.”PressTV report

Escalating Tensions on the Lebanese-Syrian Border: HTS terrorists in Zionist footsteps
Lebanese Health Ministry: 7 martyrs and 52 injuries in the latest Lebanese-Syrian border clashes.
After a heavy bombardment and intense clashes on the front of the town of Hosh al-Sayyid Ali, Haya’t Tahrir al-Sham terrorists were able to take full control of Hosh al-Sayyid Ali after the Lebanese Army withdrew from it.
The residents of Hosh al-Sayyid Ali have fled after a wave of heavy bombardment and the gathering of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorists from the towns of Rabla and Jantaliya. The bombardment is currently concentrated around the border town of al-Qasr, while the fighters have reached the irrigation canal of the border town of al-Qasr.

These terrorists are no different than the Jewish-Zionist enemy. FAKEMassive crowds are gathering on the outskirts of the Lebanese border villages north of Hermel. Escalating Tensions on the Lebanese-Syrian Border: Security and Political Implications
Amid rising tensions along the Lebanese-Syrian border, the new Syrian administration has escalated its rhetoric against Hezbollah, accusing the group of “spreading chaos” in the region. This comes following the killing of three Syrian armed members after infiltrating into Lebanese territory and clashing with shepherds in Al-Qasr, northern Bekaa.
Syria’s Defense Ministry issued a statement accusing Hezbollah of abducting and executing “three Syrian army soldiers” near the Zeita Dam, western Homs, warning that Damascus would take “all necessary measures” in response to what it called a “dangerous escalation” by Hezbollah. However, Hezbollah’s media office denied any involvement, reiterating that the group has “no connection to events occurring inside Syrian territory.”
Despite communication between the Lebanese Army and Syrian officials, tensions escalated quickly. Syrian armed forces responded with indiscriminate artillery and rocket fire, targeting Al-Mushrifa, Mazraat Beit Al-Tashm towns, Hawsh Al-Sayyid Ali outskirts and the villages of Qanatif and Al-Qasr. The attacks resulted in the killing of a child, injured four others and triggered displacement as residents fled toward Hermel.
In response, the Lebanese Army reinforced its positions along the border and began monitoring militant movements on the Syrian side with surveillance drones. However, after Lebanese towns and villages were attacked from Syrian territory, the army retaliated by targeting the sources of fire using “appropriate weapons”, reinforcing its deployment and restoring security to the area. The army also conducted intensive overnight communication with the Syrian side to de-escalate the situation and handed over the three bodies to the Syrian side. Discussions between the Lebanese Army and Syrian authorities are ongoing to maintain stability along the border.
Meanwhile, sources in Damascus indicated that “figures within Syria’s new leadership are pushing for a confrontation with Lebanon—using Hezbollah as the pretext—to consolidate internal support amid rising instability, kidnappings, and assassinations.” The sources suggested that the new administration seeks a Lebanese-Syrian security arrangement under international sponsorship, echoing past US-Israeli-backed efforts to expand international forces’ jurisdiction to Lebanon’s entire eastern border—a move that has triggered heightened political and security concerns in Lebanon. -
