Yemen Being Bombed by US, UK for Fulfilling ICJ, UNGA ‘Obligations’: Legal Expert
A prominent legal expert says Yemen is being bombed by the United States and the United Kingdom for fulfilling obligations set by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Craig Mokhiber, a US-based human rights lawyer and former United Nations official, took to his X handle, formerly Twitter, on Monday to condemn the latest American-British aggression on Yemen.
He said both the ICJ and the UNGA have found that all countries are “legally obliged” to cease any kind of support for the Israeli occupation regime amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The obligations, he elaborated, include banning any products from the illegal settlements, to cut off all military, diplomatic, economic, commercial, financial, investment, and trade relations with the Israeli occupation, to respect the provisional orders of the ICJ in the Israel genocide case, and to respect their third-state obligations under the Genocide Convention to act to prevent and stop Genocide.
“Yemen is being bombed for respecting these obligations,” he remarked.
Mokhiber, who previously served as the director of the New York office of the UN high commissioner for human rights, resigned from his position in October 2023 in protest against the UN’s “failure” to prevent the genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
He described the US, the UK and much of Europe as “wholly complicit in the horrific assault.”
American warplanes attacked Yemen on Saturday night after US President Donald Trump vowed to use “overwhelming lethal force” against the poorest country in the Arab world that had recently resumed a ban on Israeli ships from crossing key maritime regions after the Tel Aviv regime reimposed crippling blockade on the besieged Palestinian territory.
Yemeni health ministry condemned the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure, describing it as a “full-fledged war crime and a blatant violation of international laws and conventions.”
The aggression launched another attack on Sunday night, with Yemeni authorities now putting the death toll at more than 50, including women and children.
According to Yemeni reports, American warplanes launched at least 47 airstrikes on several sites in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a as well as areas in the northern province of Sa’ada, the central province of al-Bayda, and the southwestern province of Dhamar.
The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, in a speech on Sunday night warned the United States that the aggression against the Arab country will be met with escalation.
“The aircraft carrier and American warships will be targets for us, and the navigation ban will include the Americans as long as they persist in their aggression,” Sayyed Abdulmalik said.
“We will respond to escalation with escalation, and we will strike at the American enemy by targeting its aircraft carrier, warships, and imposing a blockade on its vessels.”Al Masirah report

Germany pledges €300m despite HTS sectarian massacres and terrorising Lebanese people on the border
Over 1,500 Alawite civilians were executed by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists and affiliated gunmen in a series of massacres starting on 7 March.
Germany is pledging an additional €300 million ($326 million) in aid for Syrians through the UN and select organizations, Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced on 17 March.
More than half of the funds provided will go towards aiding the people in Syria and will be distributed through NGOs and UN agencies, bypassing the country’s transitional government, Baerbock said at a press conference ahead of an EU-led donor conference in Brussels.
The funding will be used to provide food, health services, emergency shelters, and protective measures for the particularly vulnerable, according to the Foreign Ministry.
Syrian refugees and host communities in Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Turkiye will also receive the support, she went on to say.
Baerbock repeated the need for an inclusive political process to ensure a peaceful future for Syria.
“As Europeans, we stand together for the people of Syria, for a free and peaceful Syria,” she declared.
Germany’s stepped-up aid for the Syrian government, led by former Al-Qaeda in Iraq commander Ahmad al-Sharaa (who went by the nom de guerre Abu Mohammad al-Julani), comes in the wake of its genocidal violence targeting the country’s Alawite religious minority.
On 7 March, thousands of armed men affiliated with Sharaa’s security forces descended on villages and towns in the Syrian coastal regions, going door to door and massacring Alawites, including, at times, entire families. The armed forces looted homes of cash and gold before lighting them on fire.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), 1,557 Alawite civilians were killed and executed by members of Syria’s Ministries of Interior and Defense and auxiliary forces. The Cradle Media report

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists unleashed on the region equal to the US-BACKED Zionist enemy
• Two Syrians (HTS terrorists) were killed, and one was injured near the Lebanese-Syrian border in the Al-Qasr-Hermel area. The injured individual was transferred to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. After extensive communication, the Lebanese Army handed over the three bodies to Syrian authorities early this morning.
• Lebanese towns and villages were shelled from Syrian territory. Our military units responded by targeting the sources of fire and reinforcing their presence to maintain security.
• Ongoing coordination between the Lebanese Army and Syrian authorities aims to ensure stability and security in the border region.
• The army reiterated its commitment to implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701 in collaboration with UNIFIL, while strengthening internal security to protect against terrorism.Lebanese Army
Though the Lebanese army may ignore blatant facts, the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists killed a Lebanese child and injured three people in the indiscriminate attack on the border area, yesterday.
Residents of al-Qasr are leaving the town following the HTS-led forces’ missile strikes on the area. A house in Al-Qasr, Lebanon, was damaged by an indiscriminate rocket strike by HTS militants Iranian Foreign Ministry on Lebanon-Syria Border Tensions:
It is deeply regrettable that the situation in the region has escalated to such high levels of tension between neighboring countries. The sole beneficiary of these events is the Zionist entity, which seeks to divide Syria and weaken the countries of the region. -
Over 1,500 academics, scholars have fled Syria under Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists
Informed sources say hundreds of university professors and academics have fled Syria amid the growing wave of abductions and killings targeting various individuals in the Arab nation under the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) rule.
The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, told al-Maalomah news agency that security situation within Syrian cities, particularly in the capital Damascus and other major cities, remains chaotic in the wake of escalating violations by HTS militants and their allies.
They added that the violations include arrests and direct assaults, as well as the dismissal of a large number of professors and lecturers from universities under the pretext of affiliation with the toppled government of Bashar al-Assad.
The sources highlighted that “more than 1,500 university professors and prominent academics left Syria following the downfall of the Assad government on December 8, with the pace of migration increasing further following the massacres perpetrated by HTS militants in the western coastal region.”
Dozens of doctors, engineers, and teachers lost their lives as a result of bloody clashes between HTS militants and armed opposition groups loyal to Assad. The sources noted that “these massacres sent a horrific message to their colleagues in other cities, prompting many to leave the country and head to neighboring countries, especially Lebanon, in an attempt to secure their lives and professional future.”
The sources explained that the security situation has become increasingly uncertain, given the lack of security control and the growing influence of extremist groups seeking to alter the civilian character of Syrian society.
This is compounded by the increasing number of foreign fighters of various nationalities attempting to impose their extremist ideology on the local population.PressTV report

Boycott American products
“Tired of financing American imperialism? Take action,” reads the description of a Facebook group started in France that encourages members to support the French and European economies by refusing to buy products made in the United States.
They urge, “as a priority” to boycott Amazon and Tesla, which financed Trump’s presidential campaign.
European countries have started a boycott against American products, and according to the France24 report, the Boycott has been so far successful.
While the French refrain from boycotting Coca-Cola (there is a large Coca-Cola factory operating in France), we have to continue at the same time our Boycott against the Zionist entity.
This would mean that we continue boycotting Coca-Cola, Starbucks & Co.
One day, by the grace of Allah, we will ditch all American social media outlets, including Facebook, etc., and have our own platforms, as the Chinese people do.

Nine civilians killed in Turkish airstrike south of Kobani, SDF reports
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported that nine civilians were killed and two injured in a Turkish airstrike on a farming family south of Kobani, also known as Ayn al-Arab. The attack, which occurred late Sunday, targeted the area between the villages of Qumji and Barkh Botan.
According to SDF’s statement on Telegram, the victims were part of a family working in agriculture when their home was struck by a Turkish warplane.
In related news, Syrian transitional president Ahmad al-Sharaa and SDF leader Mazloum Abdi signed an agreement to integrate civil and military institutions in northeastern Syria into the Syrian state administration. The agreement, which includes control over border crossings, the airport, and oil fields, is expected to take effect by the end of the year.By the way, not only is fascist Turkey after the eradication of the Shia/ Alevis.
They intend to erase the Kurdish people as well, preferably the high number of Kurd in Turkey.
This is followed by the Kurdish population in Iraq, Syria, and Iran, who enjoy some form of limited autonomy under the respective rulers.

Despite the ongoing crimes against humanity, fascist Turkey continues to enjoy the full support and acknowledgement of the Western powers.
This is because Turkey is the strongest armed country in the NATO after the US.
Instead of feeding their country, Turkey invests in the war machinery.
Stop calling them the Ottomans!
These are fascist nationalists who have got nothing to do with the Ottoman Empire.

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorist provocations and incursions claim civilians’ lives, mass exodus
Syria’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists launch rocket and artillery attacks on Lebanese territory.
At least five Lebanese civilians were reported dead or injured.
The so-called Syrian Ministry of Defense, affiliated with the terrorist organization HTS, has claimed responsibility for shelling border towns in Lebanon with artillery, alleging it was targeting Hezbollah.
Border villages, including Al-Qasr, Al-Kawakh, Sahlat Al-Ma, and Hawsh Al-Sayyid Ali, were heavily shelled with around 50 107mm rockets and mortars, alongside 23mm machine gun fire. Three civilian homes and a gas station were damaged, triggering mass displacement, especially from Al-Qasr and Hawsh Al-Sayyid Ali. The Lebanese Army deployed reinforcements, according to Bint Jbeil website.
The same Ministry of Defense issued a threat against Lebanon, stating: “We will take all necessary measures after this dangerous escalation on the border,” where three fighters were killed after attempting to cross the borders from Syria into Lebanon. They were handed over to Syrian authorities through the Lebanese army.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah has denied any involvement in the incidents along the borders.
At the same time, the IOF is shelling South Lebanon.
Notably, the so-called “new Syrian government,” affiliated with HTS, has not fired a single bullet at the zionist entity, which continues to occupy an area larger than Lebanon and larger than the West Bank and Gaza combined in Syria. (media)
Forces linked to this government have also been responsible for massacres against minorities in Syria, primarily Alawites. (documented here).
Following dozens of IOF airstrikes, the new self-appointed president of Syria, Al-Julani, stated: “We reject ‘israel’s’ claims that the current Syrian authority poses a threat to it; what it says is nonsense.”Humanitarian and Operational Impact
The escalating violence poses a direct threat to civilians and humanitarian actors operating in the border regions. Reports of mortar shells hitting residential areas and indiscriminate fire crossing into Lebanese territory indicate a growing security risk. The fluid nature of the situation could lead to further displacement, restricted movement, and disruptions to humanitarian access.ReliefWeb report

Corrupt and fascist Turkey could call back their dogs so easily! But the Turks would never do that. Their contempt against Shias, and Alevis is just too strong.
The Turks would readily do anything to genocide the last Shiit/ Alevi.
The fascist Turkish government does not care about Al Quds or the people of Palestine. Neither does the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists.Their joint goal is to drag Hezbollah back into the war!
