Dozens of IOF vehicles push deep into south Syria in ‘biggest incursion yet’
IOF troops destroyed military infrastructure belonging to the former Syrian army following several air raids on the country.
IOF carried out a massive incursion in southern Syria on 18 March, described as the biggest of its kind since Tel Aviv expanded its occupation across the country’s south following the collapse of former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s government.
Approximately 50 vehicles – including armored and reconnaissance units – entered the village of Al-Adnaniyah in the Quneitra countryside on Tuesday evening.
“Israeli military vehicles have been sweeping through the fields in Al-Adnaniyah village for hours, and residents fear a repeat scenario of forced displacement,” resident and activist Saeed al-Mohammad told the Al-Araby al-Jadeed outlet on 19 March. “This incursion isn’t random; Israel aims to displace residents by creating a hostile military environment, which is part of a systematic policy of demographic cleansing,” he added.
Zionist occupation forces then advanced into the buffer zone between the towns of Al-Asha and Al-Rafid, deploying over 30 military vehicles, including tanks, bulldozers, and armored personnel carriers.
It was the “largest since the beginning of the Israeli occupation of the area,” according to Al-Araby al-Jadeed.
The incursion extended to the Al-Jamous Company area, accompanied by intense Israeli reconnaissance flights, local sources told the Qatari outlet.
During this operation, Israeli forces reportedly razed military sites belonging to the former Syrian army, notably the Abu Darwish Company near Al-Nasiriya in the Quneitra countryside.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the Israeli army also seized control of the Al-Hiran military point.
This incursion was preceded by several Israeli airstrikes on Syria over the past two days. Former Syrian army sites in Homs were bombarded by Israeli jets on Tuesday.
Israeli warplanes also targeted Al-Kiswah in the Damascus countryside with multiple airstrikes, as well as the city of Izraa in the Deraa governorate.
Israeli occupation forces swept across southern Syria after the ousting of Assad in December, moving past the demilitarized zone and expanding their decades-long illegal occupation in the country.
Tel Aviv has since continued to expand its occupation in Syria and has begun building permanent military sites in the southern region of the country. Israel has said its occupation in Syria will be indefinite.
Since the former government collapsed, hundreds of Israeli airstrikes have targeted military infrastructure belonging to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

Bush, Blair & Co. invade Iraq – March 2003

The United States invaded Iraq as part of its “war on terror” announced by President George W. Bush after ‘the Al Qaeda attacks’ on Sept. 11, 2001. Mr. Bush and members of his administration claimed that Mr. Hussein was manufacturing and concealing weapons of mass destruction, though no evidence to back up those accusations was ever found.
The invasion is launched, and Baghdad is attacked with missiles and bombs in an attempt to target Saddam Hussein and bring down the government.

A building in Falluja that was destroyed as Iraqi fighters wrested control of the city from the Islamic State in 2016. Much of Iraq bears the scars of two decades of violence 2013-2018: From the remnants of al-Qaida in Iraq, a new terrorist force emerges. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria breaks Sunni militants out of prisons and mounts a battle to establish a worldwide Islamic State caliphate based in Syria. In Iraq, the Islamic State group takes over Mosul, Fallujah, Tikrit and Ramadi with lightning speed, ultimately controlling about 40 percent of the country. A U.S. bombing campaign, special forces operations and Shiite militias allied with Iran turn back the tide. Islamic State group is evicted from strongholds in northern Iraq and in Syria, although skirmishes continue in remote areas.
About 200,000 civilians died at the hands of American forces, Al Qaeda militants, Iraqi insurgents or the Islamic State terrorist group, according to Brown University’s Cost of War project. At least 45,000 members of the Iraqi military and police forces and at least 35,000 Iraqi insurgents also lost their lives, and tens of thousands more were left with life-altering injuries.
In one corner of Falluja’s cemetery lie the 27 members of the Dhahi family who were killed when a U.S. aircraft bombed their house on April 6, 2004, during heavy fighting. One of the smallest graves bears three names, those of three infants who died in the bombing and were buried together.
One family member who survived, Waleed Dhahi, now 23, was found alive in the rubble. His immediate family — both parents, three brothers and a sister — were not so lucky. He lost an eye and has shrapnel deep in his leg.
For him, the United States invasion was a crucible of loss.
“My opinion of the Americans is negative, because if someone comes and kills my family and I don’t have any power to fight them, it leaves a hatred,” he said. “Of course life continues and we must start again. But I lost my family and that has affected me, and sometimes I wish I had died with them.”APNews report

The troops’ presence is justifie by the pretext of fighting the ISIS.
Iraqi president Shia Al Sudani, however, is genuinely engaged in negotiations and talks with the US in order to rid the country of the infidels.
We all are well aware, and the events in Syria prove that the US promots terrorism, including the creation and existence of the ISIS & Al Qaeda duo.
The US endorsement of Jolani and his removal from the internationally wanted terrorists list are the best examples of American fake intentions and self-serving ambitions in the region.
The official US statement is that the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by the Al Qaeda.
However, the truth is that the US government still refuses to investigate the attacks.

Istanbul mayor arrested over alleged terror links ahead of likely presidential nomination
Erdoğan style insurance of ruling government –
Istanbul’s opposition mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, a key political rival of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has been arrested as part of an investigation into what Ankara claims to be corruption and terror links, just days before he was expected to be selected as a presidential candidate.
The state-run Anadolu Agency said Imamoglu’s arrest took place on Wednesday and that prosecutors also issued warrants for 100 other people, including Turkish politicians, journalists and businessmen.
The news agency cited prosecutors as saying that Imamoglu — from the secular Republican People’s Party (CHP) — is accused of being a “criminal organization leader suspect.”
Istanbul governor’s office imposed four days of restrictions in the city by closing several roads and banning demonstrations in an apparent effort to preserve “public order” and stop “possible provocative actions” following the arrest.
The arrest comes as the CHP was scheduled to hold a primary election on March 23, at which Imamoglu was expected to be chosen as its presidential candidate, with the next presidential vote being due for 2028 while early elections are likely.
“The will of the people cannot be silenced,” Imamoglu wrote on social media.
The 53-year-old also vowed in a video posted online to “stand resolute” for the people of Turkey “and all who uphold democracy and justice worldwide.”
“I stand firm in my fight for the fundamental rights and freedoms,” he added.
Accusing the Turkish government of “usurping the will” of the people, Imamoglu said, “We are facing great tyranny, but I want you to know that I will not be discouraged.”
CHP’s chairman, Özgür Özel, denounced Imamoglu’s detention as a “coup.”
“Currently, there is a power in place to prevent the nation from determining the next president,” he said. “We are facing an attempted coup against our next president.”Netblocks internet observatory said Turkey had restricted access to multiple social media platforms, including X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
Meanwhile, Istanbul University nullified Imamoglu’s diploma, citing alleged irregularities in his 1990 transfer from a private university in northern Cyprus to its faculty of business administration. The decision, if upheld, would prevent him from running in presidential elections.
The Turkish lira plunged to an all-time low against the dollar on Wednesday after the powerful opposition mayor was taken into custody.
In 2022, Imamoglu was sentenced to more than two-and-a-half years in prison for insulting public officials in a speech, a conviction he has been appealing against.PressTV report

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists infringements on Lebanese land persist despite ceasefire
A fragile ceasefire remains unstable along the Lebanese-Syrian border, with continued sporadic gunfire and suspicious military mobilizations on the Syrian side. Despite an agreement reached between Lebanese Defense Minister Michel Menassa and his Syrian counterpart Murhaf Abu Qasra—under which Syrian militants withdrew from Lebanese territory in Hawsh al-Sayyid Ali—the militants’ systematic looting and burning of homes in the town have raised doubts about their genuine intentions. Security sources expressed skepticism, noting these destructive actions seem intended to obstruct dialogue rather than seek resolution, especially amid internal divisions among militant factions regarding adherence to the ceasefire.
The withdrawal agreement allowed the Lebanese Army to enter and conduct patrols without establishing permanent positions since the area remains classified as “disputed territory”. This arrangement reignites long-standing tensions over border demarcation, complicated by historical Lebanese property claims within Syrian territories dating back over 400 years. Approximately 30,000 Lebanese residents have been displaced by Syrian militants, while tens of thousands of Syrian Shiites fled to the northern Bekaa Valley following the fall of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime on December 8.
Meanwhile, Lebanese military intelligence facilitated a prisoner exchange at the Jousiyeh border crossing, supervised by Lebanese General Security, involving the exchange of the bodies of two Lebanese martyrs from the Madlaj clan for two militants held by Lebanese tribes. Militants still hold the bodies of two other Lebanese victims. Additionally, late-night political negotiations secured the release of 22 Lebanese civilians, including women, abducted from Al-Fadiliya in Syria, in exchange for a ransom payment of $13,500.
Clashes over the past two days have resulted in seven Lebanese deaths and 52 injuries, while security sources confirmed between 40 to 50 Syrian militants were killed. The local residents of the eastern Lebanese village of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali return to their homes, after the Lebanese army completed conducting an inspection on all of the houses. Lebanon harbours 1.5 Syrian refugees, including the latest exodus caused by HTS-LED Alawite genocide
Escalating Conflict Forces Thousands of Syrians to Seek Refuge in Lebanon –
Around 13,000 Syrians have fled to northern Lebanon since violence erupted in Syria’s coastal region on March 6. The influx, mainly into Akkar governorate, challenges local municipalities in providing shelter, food, and healthcare. The Crisis and Disaster Management Room reported refugees are staying in families’ homes or in halls and warehouses.
The violence, blamed on pro-Assad militants, has resulted in over 4,700 civilian deaths, including 1,805 field executions. Most victims are from the Alawite minority. Armed groups targeted families, asking whether they were Alawites or Sunnis before killing or sparing them. Video footage has emerged showing executions in homes.
The international community condemned the killings. Thousands sought protection at Russia’s Hmeimim airbase, while others fled to northern Lebanon, which already hosts 1.5 million Syrian refugees, 755,426 of whom are registered with the United Nations.
