  • American warplanes strike Yemen around 30 times in less than a day in fresh aggression

The United States has launched nearly 30 airstrikes across several provinces throughout Yemen in less than a day, intensifying its aggression against the nation in, what experts have termed as, a self-defeating push to stop Sana’a’s pro-Palestinian operations.

According to Yemeni sources, American warplanes carried out 11 airstrikes on Sana’a province on Tuesday, specifically targeting the Bani Hushaysh and Sanhan districts.

The bombing campaign extended further east, with 13 strikes reported in Ma’rib province, including Majzar and Jawba districts.

In addition, four airstrikes were launched against Kamaran Island off the coast of al-Hudaydah province in western Yemen.

The strikes mark one of the heaviest bombardments carried out in a day by American forces in recent weeks.

The US claims its attacks are aimed at degrading the military capabilities of Yemen’s Armed Forces, particularly the missile and drone units.

The forces have been, since October 2023, when the Israeli regime began a war of genocide against the Gaza Strip, staging numerous operations against Israeli and Israeli-linked targets as a means of forcing Tel Aviv into stopping the warfare and ending a simultaneous siege it has slammed on the Palestinian territory.

According to Yemeni outlets, however, the American assaults have been hitting purely civilian targets, claiming the lives of dozens of non-combatants, since last month, when Washington reinvigorated its aerial aggression against the already impoverished Arab Peninsula nation.

Despite the intensified US campaign, which has been accompanied by British and Israeli attacks against Yemen, the Yemeni servicemen have repeatedly asserted that their operations were a legitimate response to Tel Aviv’s genocide and would continue until the regime halted its aggression and siege against the coastal sliver.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the forces, has, meanwhile, warned that the attacks would not go unanswered.

American naval assets have already come under intense Yemeni reprisal both in response to Washington’s military adventurism and its complicity in the Israeli genocide.

Despite its vast firepower, the Pentagon has failed to prevent Yemeni missile and drone operations.

On Sunday, CNN described the American campaign of aggression as an astronomically-expensive push that had fallen far short of deterring Yemen, which had even threatened to extend the scope of its retaliatory strikes.

  • Over 600,000 Children in Gaza at Risk of ‘Permanent Paralysis’: Ministry

More than 600,000 children in Gaza are at risk of permanent paralysis and chronic disabilities due to Zionist Colony’s prevention of polio vaccines in the besieged Palestinian region.
In a statement released on Sunday, Gaza’s Health Ministry called Israel’s blocking polio vaccines from entering the blockaded territory a time bomb that threatens to spread the epidemic.

It said 602,000 children in Gaza were at risk of “permanent paralysis and chronic disabilities” unless they received the desperately needed vaccines.

The ministry warned that serious and catastrophic repercussions will be added to the already exhausted health system in Gaza.

“Preventing the entry of vaccines means the collapse of the efforts made over the past seven months, which means serious and catastrophic repercussions will be added to the targeted and exhausted health system, in addition to doubling the social and economic repercussions.”

Elsewhere in the statement, the ministry urged relevant health authorities to apply pressure on Israel to allow the entry of the vaccines.

Poliovirus is highly infectious and most often spreads through sewage and contaminated water. It mainly affects children under the age of five.

Last year, the ministry and several UN agencies and other partners conducted two rounds of polio vaccinations across Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Hamas resistance movement recently called for the prosecution of Israel’s leaders for war crimes as the regime’s genocidal war on Gaza continues with “systematic targeting of children.”

In Gaza, Hamas said, over 1,100 children have been abducted and “around 39,000 have become orphaned by losing one or both parents, while thousands others face the threat of famine, malnutrition, and disease.”

“The fascist occupation continues its systematic targeting of children, using them as human shields, depriving them of education in Gaza.”

It reiterated that the international community’s silence, “which is a shameful stain on human rights and humanitarian organizations… emboldens the occupation to escalate its crimes” against innocent Palestinian children.

Hamas also warned that the resistance group will never forget the regime’s “crimes against our children.”

  • Nigerian security agents plan fresh attacks on followers of Sheikh Zakzaky in Abuja: Report

Nigerian security agents are planning coordinated attacks on the homes and properties of followers of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, according to a report.
Sahara Reporters reported on Sunday, quoting sources that the operation is scheduled to take place around 2:00 a.m. on Monday in Abuja and surrounding areas, including Maraba.
Security agents have advised their relatives to avoid locations associated with Shia Muslims in Abuja, Maraba, and other areas, the report said.
“There is a planned attack by security agents on residences and facilities of Al-Zakzaky’s followers in Maitama, Asokoro, Garki, Airport Road, Maraba, etc. They said Monday at 2:00 a.m.,” one source disclosed.
On March 28, 2025, at least 26 people were reportedly killed and many others injured in an attack on the IMN members by the Nigerian Army on an International Quds Day demonstration in Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja.
Video footage of the scenes shows armed forces securing the perimeter as protestors flee for cover while bullet shots are heard.
The footage also shows soldiers dragging the lifeless body of a civilian on the street and dumping it into a pickup while beating two other protesters and forcing them to get into another truck.
While the event was conducted peacefully across Nigeria, the Abuja procession was targeted by the army.
The protesters were marching peacefully after observing Friday prayers at Banex Plaza when Army soldiers stationed near the mosque fired upon them.
In response, the IMN has vowed to take legal action if the Nigerian government and army fail to release detained members, including over 60 minors.
“While peacefully carrying out their procession in the Banex area, Wuse II, Abuja, in their thousands, they were unexpectedly confronted by a group of armed soldiers who, without any provocation, began firing live ammunition at them,” they said.
“As a result of this inhumane, callous, cruel, barbaric and horrific attack, about 26 persons lost their lives, over 30 sustained various degrees of life-threatening injuries, and around 274 were arrested by the soldiers,” they added.
The Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) had expressed concern over attacks against protesters after it was revealed that Nigerian authorities were making preparations in this regard as a pretext for an attack.
The Office of the National Security Adviser had stressed the necessity to stop the al-Quds day demonstration to “prevent a breach of the peace” by the pro-Palestinian protesters, according to a leaked internal letter seen by the IHRC.

In the leaked communiqué, Nigerian authorities had warned that though the pro-Palestinian demonstrations were peaceful, the protesters had the potential to seek justice by attacking US and Israeli interests in the country. Therefore, their demos must be stopped.
This method has been used by Nigeria’s pro-Israel officials in recent years to prompt the forces to stage a violent crackdown on the demonstrators.
At least one person was killed, and many more were injured after police opened fire on the Quds Day demo in Abuja in 2023.
In 2014, Nigerian security forces killed 34 demonstrators after opening fire on a rally in Zaria.Palestinian journalist Ahmed Mansour was taken to hospital after sustaining severe burns when Israel targeted a journalists’ tent near a hospital in Khan Younis. Disturbing footage circulating online shows the journalist engulfed in flames as rescue workers desperately tried to extinguish the fire.

  • Morgan Ortagus lacks profound respect and the sense of diplomatic tact

    US ultimatum: Disarm Hezbollah First.

US deputy envoy Morgan Ortagus summoned the Lebanese top diplomat and other ministers to attend a meeting at the embassy headquarters in Awkar.

Has the US diplomat become a high commissioner in Lebanon?

Observing the diplomatic norms sustains the national sovereignty of the countries. However, Ortagus summoned the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Ministers of Energy, Public Works, Economy and Industry, Administrative and Financial Development, and the new Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon. She summoned them as if she were a high commissioner.

The journalist Mohammad Alloush told Al-Manar TV that Ortagus deliberately summoned the Lebanese officials instead of visiting them at their offices, adding that this hides a US intention to show that Washington completely controls Lebanon’s political situation.

The main question here is how the foreign minister Youssef Rajji accepted this diplomatic violation carried out by Ortagus who does not have the capacity of meeting ministers.

US Deputy Envoy to the Middle East: Disarm Hezbollah First

US Deputy Envoy to the Middle East, Morgan Ortagus, stressed the urgent need to disarm Hezbollah, claiming that the faster the army disarms the group, the quicker Lebanon will be freed from “foreign influence and terrorism”.

In an interview with LBC, she emphasized that Lebanon’s leadership and people must either cooperate on disarming Hezbollah and ending corruption to build a partnership with the international community, or risk losing that partnership.

Ortagus highlighted her focus on implementing a ceasefire, disarming Hezbollah, and supporting Lebanon’s economic reforms. She also revealed that Lebanese President Joseph Aoun had not rejected the creation of three diplomatic committees to address sensitive issues such as detainees, border demarcation, and Israeli withdrawal.

Ortagus reiterated continued US support for the Lebanese army through training, funding, and equipment, praising its ability to assert more authority under President Aoun’s leadership. She expressed optimism about the new government and ongoing efforts to fully implement the ceasefire.

Ortagus began her visit with meetings with key Lebanese officials, including President Aoun, Speaker Nabih Berri, PM Nawaf Salam, Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal, and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea.
