Jolani about to expel Palestinian fractions while the ‘Lebanese PM’ embarks on disarming Palestinian refugee camps
Jolani of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists pressures Palestinian factions to leave Damascus –
Palestinian sources confirmed to AFP on Friday that several leaders of Palestinian resistance factions formerly based in Syria have recently left the country following growing pressure from Syrian HTS authorities, including the confiscation of properties.
A senior figure from one of the affected factions, speaking anonymously, said that most leaders have departed Damascus for countries such as Lebanon. According to him, these groups were forced to surrender their arms to the Syrian state under Ahmad al-Sharaa (Julani). A second source from a smaller faction confirmed that their departure came amid increasing restrictions by Damascus. It is highly likely that the Jolani terrorist leader would keep Hamas in the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham stronghold Idlib.

From past victories to future freedoms: South Lebanon and Palestine

Khiam Prison Liberation – the 25th anniversary
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the liberation of 144 prisoners from the colonial Khiam prison camp and torture center just days before the zionist occupation was driven out of southern Lebanon.
The prison was run by colonists and their allies since its inception. In the 1930s, it held rebels against the French occupation, and in 1985, invading zionists and the SLA turned it into a brutal torture facility.
In October 1991, 210 detainees were known to be held in Khiam, of whom 20 were non-Lebanese. This group included 13 Palestinians, four Syrians, two Kurds, and one Algerian. Among the detainees, there were 16 women (15 Lebanese and one Palestinian). Reports indicate that detainees ranged from minors to individuals in their sixties and older.
One of the youngest detainees, Rabah Shahrur, was around 12 years old when he was captured, held in Khiam for eight months to pressure his detained older brother into confessing. Another child, Ahmad Nimr Munther from Markaba, was 14 when he was taken prisoner in 1989. It was common to torture the relatives of the prisoners, their parents, and loved ones to force them to “confess” that they were resisting occupation.
Over the years, over 5,000 people, including 500 women like revolutionary Lebanese resister Suha Bechara (media 4, part 1), would be imprisoned and tortured at Khiam by electrocution, beating, waterboarding, and other brutal methods.
11 martyrs (media 2, part 2) ascended inside the prison due to torture, medical negligence, or suffocation by gas. The Khiam prison remained a testament to the struggle of a people until the 2006 war. The IOF, in an attempt to erase their crimes, bombarded the torture center, reducing it to ruins (media 3,4 part 2). Despite all their attempts, the electrical pole where they tortured the prisoners and two of them were martyred, as well as a cell used for torture, remained (media 5,6,7 part 2). The memories of the freed resisters, children of the land, remained. The voice of Rani Bazzi, who screamed on May 23, 2000, when he was liberated and continued to resist until he was martyred in 2006, in the same war where the enemy attempted to erase his past, still lingers on top of the rubble (media 8, part 2). We bear witness.
Every victory that is not documented may be lost. The scenes of liberation at Khiam prison not only document the victory but also make us feel as if we are living it, moment by moment, breaking into the torture prison where the occupiers fled, to free our prisoners (media 1, part 2). It makes us long for this moment in Palestine.
Two years ago, RNN wrote: “Khiam reminds us that #FreeThemAll is not a lofty dream or an empty promise to be replaced with compromise. The freedom of all prisoners—from the colonial prisons of the zionist entity, the dungeons of the comprador Authority, and the prisons of Europe, America, and the Arab world—is a reality that will be enforced through armed resistance and popular revolt.”
On October 7th, the resistance enforced that reality through armed resistance, backed by the popular cradle, with their first demand being our prisoners, reiterating: “If the prisoner is lost, the nation is lost.” 210 prisoners have been freed in the November exchange batches. We await the moment where all of our prisoners shall be free.
Khiam teaches us that the liberation of our prisoners is inevitable. It is a promise, because our people and their resistance pledged to keep it. As the liberation of the prisoners in southern Lebanon on the 23rd of May 2000 announced the liberation of the land two days later, today we affirm that the freedom of our prisoners has begun, announcing: the liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea, has begun.

Ex-US Ambassador to Syria Reveals Role in Rebranding ‘Ahmad Al-Sharaa’

An image shows ‘Ahmad Al-Shara’ when he was leading Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham. Former US Ambassador to Damascus Robert Ford disclosed a behind-the-scenes Western role—particularly American—that indirectly facilitated ‘Ahmad Al-Sharaa’s’ path to power.
Speaking earlier this month at the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs, Ford confirmed that the United States played an indirect role, beginning with a series of meetings in 2023 when Al-Shara was still leading Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham under the alias “Abu Mohammad Al-Joulani,” up until his eventual rise to the presidency of Syria.
He noted that a UK-based non-governmental organization, specializing in conflict resolution, invited a European team—of which Ford was a member—to guide Al-Shara into the political arena, rather than allowing him to remain within the framework of armed groups. These efforts, according to Ford, were part of a broader Western strategy for political rehabilitation.
The video below, edited by The Cradle, shows the ex-ambassador’s remarks.“The first time I heard of him was during my time in Iraq between 2000 and 2003, where he was a prominent figure in al-Qaeda’s operations in northern Iraq,” Ford said.
“In 2023, I received an invitation from a British NGO to help extract him from the world of terrorism and prepare him for a political role.”
According to Ford, his first meeting with Al-Sharaa took place in March 2023 and was followed by a second in September. Their third and final encounter occurred in January of this year—inside the presidential palace in Damascus—after Al-Sharaa had assumed power.
Ford noted that the three meetings were not, by themselves, sufficient to politically legitimize Al-Sharaa. Rather, they marked the culmination of a longer process that began in 2016, when Al-Sharaa formally cut ties with Al-Qaeda and “began presenting a more moderate image within the context of the Syrian opposition movement.”Al Manar report with video

Zionist occupation forces open fire on diplomatic delegation visiting Jenin refugee camp
Zionist occupation forces stationed at Jenin refugee camp have fired live ammunition at a diplomatic delegation as it was entering the camp to view the living conditions of the refugees.
The diplomats that visited the camp on Wednesday were from Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, France, India, Japan, Jordan, Lithuania, Mexico Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Spain, Turkey, the EU, and the UK, along with representatives from several other countries and journalists accompanying them.
The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates had organized the visit for the international community to witness the Israeli regime’s ongoing aggression against the Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank.
The Ministry had arranged a similar visit to Tulkarem city and the refugee camp in the northern West Bank last week.
WAFA news agency reported that the delegation wanted to enter the camp from the eastern gate, where the regime has installed an iron gate, when the soldiers fired live ammunition directly and heavily at the diplomats and their entourage.
In a statement, the Ministry said, “This aggressive act constitutes a flagrant and serious violation of the provisions of international law and the most basic rules of diplomatic relations stipulated in the 1961 Vienna Convention, which guarantees protection and immunity for diplomatic missions and delegations.”After the incident, the delegation visited the Jenin Governorate headquarters and reviewed the situation in the camp and the city.
The camp governor, Mohammed Jarrar, explained in detail the city’s disastrous economic condition, the war’s impact on its facilities, and the destruction of infrastructure.
More importantly, he described the extremely inhumane circumstances under which 22,000 Palestinians have been forced to abandon their homes and live in the tyrannical conditions the Israeli regime has forced upon them.
Later, the Ministry condemned the assault by the occupation forces on the diplomatic delegation invited by the Palestinian Authority.
Since October 7, 2023, when the Israeli regime began its genocidal war against Gaza, the number of attacks by settlers and occupation forces on the Palestinians of the Occupied West Bank has increased dramatically.
The Israeli regime has also killed at least 1,000 Palestinians and abducted 7,000 in the occupied West Bank.PressTV report with videos
