• The Turkish Dictator’s plans to govern Tripoli via covert ops in Damascus

Unsatisfied with its significant control over northern Syria and Iraq, Ankara is seeking to establish a political, security, and economic foothold in northern Lebanon – while Beirut watches impotently.

As Lebanon grapples with its myriad domestic crises and the geopolitical repercussions of the recent Israeli–Iranian war, Turkiye is stealthily expanding into Lebanese territory – particularly in the northern city of Tripoli and its surroundings.

Ankara’s project is no longer limited to aid or educational programs to favored Sunni communities in the Lebanese state; it now encompasses far more complex tools: naturalization, religious outreach, penetration of vital infrastructure, and a security apparatus managed directly by Turkish intelligence operating out of Damascus.

    A Tripoli directed from Damascus

Security sources inform The Cradle that Tripoli, the largest city in northern Lebanon, is now a major Turkish influence zone — managed and monitored by Turkish intelligence through a field office based in the Damascus area of Mezze. The operation is overseen by Turkish officer A.S., who runs a field-intelligence network in Tripoli tasked with overseeing street-level developments, coordinating political and religious activities, collecting information, and establishing a sustainable Turkish soft-power base in Lebanon.

For over a decade, Ankara has been amassing soft power infrastructure across northern Lebanon. Organizations like the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and the Diyanet Foundation have increased Turkiye’s humanitarian, religious, and educational presence, targeting impoverished Sunni communities in Tripoli, Minieh, Dinnieh, Akkar, and elsewhere. These agencies provide food and financial assistance, hundreds of annual scholarships, and manage mosques, schools, and cultural centers.

But the most sensitive tool they have employed is the granting of Turkish citizenship to hundreds of Lebanese families, under the pretext of Ottoman or Turkmen ancestry. This practice has birthed a dual-loyalty demographic – Lebanese-Turkish – that Ankara can activate in any future regional or domestic conflict. It is both a soft power base and a potential lever of political influence.

The security arm: From Mezzeh to Tripoli

But behind the cover of ‘civilian agencies’ lies a carefully managed Turkish intelligence operation. According to The Cradle’s sources, Turkish officer A.S., who heads the Syria station, also supervises a field post in Tripoli led locally by a man named M.S..

M.S. moves freely across the city’s northern districts and receives direct logistical and technical support from Ankara, including satellite-based communication devices to evade interception by Lebanese networks.

He also runs a network of local operatives, working in coordination with social and religious structures under the umbrella of a figure known as A.A., who oversees a religious outreach network in Bab al-Tabbaneh. Operating under the banner of “moderate Turkish Islam,” this initiative is in fact building a community matrix aligned with Ankara.

  • Istanbul Mayor İmamoğlu sentenced in politically charged trial ahead of 2028 election

Ekrem İmamoğlu, the mayor of Istanbul, was sentenced by the Silivri Court to one year, five months, and 15 days in prison for insulting a public official, plus two months and 15 days for making threats. He denied all charges, calling the case politically motivated due to his plan to run against President Erdoğan in the 2028 presidential election.

The public prosecutor had initially sought a harsher sentence of over seven years and a ban on İmamoğlu’s political activities. The charges against him could disqualify him from participating in the next presidential race.

İmamoğlu is a leading rival to Erdoğan and was re-elected Istanbul mayor in March 2024. He has been held in Silivri Prison since March 19, following an investigation into corruption and alleged terrorism ties that triggered the largest protests in Turkey in over a decade.

  • Warplanes bomb the  Defence Ministry in Damascus as zion*st army plans on prolonged campaign

z*onist channels, including its army, confirm that preparations are underway for a long-term escalation against the Joulani terror regime in Syria.

Following armed clashes between Jolani’s HTS terrorists and the community of Druze over 300 have been killed according to the  UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Druze leaders in occupied Palestine sent distressed calls to the US and the zionist colony to intervene and  stop Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists from committing further massacres.

zionist media reports that Druze based in occupied Palestine who crossed the borders into Syria have now reached Quneitra in southern Syria.

Elsewhere Druze members have started protesting the presence of Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists.

Jaramana residents back the Druze and demand the fall of the Jolani regime.

We affirm that the fighting will continue until the full liberation of all the territory of Suwayda Province.
There is no agreement, negotiation, or mandate with the Syrian government.

Spiritual leader of the Druze Unitarian community in Syria, Hekmat al-Hijri

Hamas and Islamic Jihad released statements condemning the zionist colony for bombing Damascus and other parts of Syria, completely oblivion the the massacres committed against the Druze.

If the Jolani terrorist killed all Druze members, neither Hamas nor the Islamic Jihad would care to condemn it.

Neither did they care when the Alevis were slaughtered by Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists.

Why should Hamas or Islamic Jihad condemn their own kind [HTS/ISIS/Al Qaeda] in the first place?

They are together in this, and they have been together with the overthrow of Al Assad.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have also vehemently refused to condemn the Yemen Genocide perpetrated by the fascist Muhammad bin Salman, which cost millions of Yemeni lives by creating the world’s worst humanitarian catastrophe.

Injustice will be met with injustice. This Jolani-Erdoğan alliance is bound to go down.
  • West Bank witnessing largest forced displacement of Palestinians since 1967: UN

UN says 30,000 Palestinians have been forcibly uprooted since January as Israeli forces clear refugee camps and demolish homes under ‘Iron Wall’ campaign.

UN officials warned on 15 July that Israel’s months-long ‘Iron Wall’ operation in the occupied West Bank has caused the largest displacement of Palestinians since 1967, with 30,000 people forcibly uprooted since January and entire refugee camps emptied under military orders.

UN rights office spokesman Thameen al-Kheetan said the forced uprooting underway may constitute a crime under international law, stressing that “permanently displacing the civilian population within occupied territory amounts to unlawful transfer,” and depending on the circumstances, “could be tantamount to ethnic cleansing.” He said the campaign is “emptying large parts of the West Bank of Palestinians.”

The UN said the offensive, launched in January, is impacting several northern refugee camps. Juliette Touma, spokeswoman for UNRWA, described it as “the longest since … the Second Intifada,” and warned it was causing “the largest population displacement of the Palestinians in the West Bank since 1967.”

According to Kheetan, most of those displaced were residents of the Jenin Refugee Camp.

During the same period, Israeli occupation forces issued demolition orders for approximately 1,400 homes in the area. Kheetan called the figures “alarming.”

Since 7 October 2023, 2,907 Palestinians have been displaced by demolitions, while 2,400 more – nearly half of them children – were forcibly uprooted by Israeli settlers.

The UN recorded 757 settler attacks in the first half of 2025, a 13 percent increase from the same period in 2024. Ninety-six Palestinians were injured in settler assaults in June, marking the highest monthly toll in over two decades.

zionist occupation forces have fired live ammunition at unarmed civilians, including those attempting to return to their homes in Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nour Shams camps.

Victims include two-year-old Laila al-Khatib, shot in the head inside her home in Ash-Shuhada village in January, and 61-year-old Walid Bdeir, reportedly killed while cycling home from prayers on 3 July.

Since 7 October, at least 964 Palestinians have been killed across the occupied West Bank by Israeli forces and settlers.

  • zion*st Entity Has Kidnapped 360 Palestinian Health Workers Since October 2023

Palestinian medical sources say zion*st colony has kidnapped 360 healthcare workers since the start of the regime’s campaign of genocide in Gaza in October 2023.

The official Palestinian Wafa news agency, citing sources in Gaza, reported on Monday that zionist occupation forces are imposing severe restrictions on prisoners in general, and on medical workers in particular, as they live in difficult and tragic conditions in the regime’s incarceration facilities.

The sources noted that the director of Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital has been subjected to various forms of intense torture and inhumane treatment.

They stated that the 51-year-old Hussam Abu Safia, who was detained in Gaza by the Israeli army in December, has undergone brutal interrogations and endured constant beatings.

Abu Safia’s health condition has reached a critical point, and he is denied treatment.

Palestinian lawyer Ghaid Qassem says the doctor suffers from serious health issues due to his exposure to torture and deliberate medical neglect in Israeli jails.

The lawyer noted that Abu Safia has lost more than 40 kilograms since he was kidnapped from Gaza, and is suffering from harsh and life-threatening incarceration conditions.

Qaasem added that the doctor was severely beaten by Israeli jailers on June 24 inside his cell at Ofer Prison, located near Ramallah.

As a result of that assault which lasted for more than half an hour, Abu Safia has sustained severe injuries and bruises on his chest, face, head, back and neck, according to the lawyer.

According to official figures from the Health Ministry of Gaza, at least 58,386 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed and 139,077 injured since October 7, 2023.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November Netanyahu and Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

zionist colony also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the besieged coastal territory.

  • Russia Honors American Spy Who Supplied Intelligence from Ukraine

Russian authorities announced they granted citizenship to American national Daniel Martindale, who worked as a spy for Moscow in Ukraine following the launch of Russia’s military operation in February 2022.

According to Russian news agency TASS, Martindale traveled to Ukraine in early 2022 and spent two years transmitting strategic intelligence on Ukrainian military positions and infrastructure to Russian forces. He was reportedly extracted in 2024 through a “complex special operation” due to threats to his life.

Denis Pushilin, commander of Russian forces in Donetsk, said Martindale was awarded Russian citizenship by presidential decree and praised him for his long-standing loyalty and contributions to Russian intelligence. A video shared online showed Martindale receiving his passport in a formal ceremony.

Speaking in Russian, Martindale expressed gratitude: “Thank you, Russia, for accepting me… this is my family.”

  • Pro-zion*st Lebanese Central Bank outlaws dealings with Hezbollah financial institution

Qard al-Hassan is a profit-free, interest-free Islamic banking and loan withdrawal system that was heavily targeted by z*onist airstrikes during the war on Lebanon last year.

The Lebanese Central Bank has banned financial institutions from directly or indirectly engaging with Hezbollah’s Qard al-Hassan organization, according to a document seen by Reuters on 15 July.

“Banks, financial institutions, and other institutions subject to a license from the Banque du Liban, as well as financial intermediary institutions and collective investment funds, are prohibited from conducting any financial, commercial, or other transactions, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, with exchange institutions, money transfer companies, associations, and unlicensed bodies such as the Qard Al-Hassan Association,” it said.

“Failure to comply with the provisions of this decision exposes perpetrators to legal prosecution and measures that may reach the extent of suspension or withdrawal of the license and freezing of accounts and assets,” it added.

The Central Bank confirmed “that it will take all appropriate administrative and legal measures to enforce the implementation of the provisions of this decision,” stressing that the decision “shall be effective immediately.”

Qard al-Hassan, founded in 1983, is a profit-free and interest-free Islamic banking and loan withdrawal system adopted by the Lebanese resistance. It has been described as a charitable organization and has been repeatedly targeted by US sanctions.

The latest of these sanctions was imposed earlier this month. Washington says Hezbollah uses the organization to evade sanctions and conduct financial transactions through “shadow accounts.” The Lebanese resistance movement denies receiving any funding through the organization.

In October last year, during the height of zion*st war against Lebanon, zionst strikes targeted and destroyed several buildings linked to Qard al-Hassan.

Hezbollah said at the time that it was prepared for the attack and took measures to safeguard people’s savings.

The central bank’s move comes amid increasing US pressure on Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah.

The country also continues to face daily zionist attacks and ceasefire violations, as well as an occupation in southern Lebanon.

zionist colony carried out a large-scale attack across the eastern Lebanese Bekaa region on 15 July, killing at least 12 people and injuring several others.

As HTS terrorists or the Syrian government forces massacre Druze minorities in Suweida, southern Syria, the IOF renewed its bombing on the city.

Dozens have been massacred, among women, children, and elders, while HTS forces abuse Druze leaders. HTS leveraged the tensions to seize the city, with orders not to film abuses.

Dozens have been killed, and IOF strikes also resulted in the death of 6 from HTS security forces.

Despite the declaration of a ceasefire between the Syrian government forces and the Druze, the bombing and clashes continued heavily. Druze in the occupied Palestinian interior and Lebanon have also begun protests in rejection of the violence.
