Al-Manar reporter had mentioned that zionist drones roamed the skies of Baalbek and its suburbs.

It is worth noting that the zionist enemy has continued its attacks on Lebanon despite the ceasefire which took effect on November 27, 2024. Around 4300 ceasefire violations left 240 martyrs.

  • Iranian security chief meets officials in Beirut amid push to disarm Hezbollah

Chief of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani said during a meeting with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri that Lebanon should not ‘take orders from across seas.’

Ali Larijani, secretary-general of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and advisor to the supreme leader, visited Beirut on 13 August and met with several Lebanese officials, including the country’s president.

Upon arrival in the Lebanese capital, Larijani was welcomed by large crowds of Hezbollah supporters chanting in support of the resistance.

Larijani also described the Lebanese people as the “shining star” of resistance against Israel. He wished Lebanon prosperity and expressed hope in its ability to make “sound decisions.”

The security chief emphasized Iran’s wish that Lebanon be “strong and independent,” and that it not “take orders from across the oceans.”

“Iran does not interfere in Lebanese decision-making, and those who interfere in Lebanon’s affairs are the ones imposing plans and deadlines on it,” Larijani added, referring to Washington.

Larijani told the Lebanese president during their meeting that “Iran wishes to strengthen its relations with the Lebanese state and people at all levels, and I commend the role President Aoun plays in reinforcing national unity and unifying ranks within all Lebanese sects and among all components of the Lebanese people.”

Aoun told Larijani that Beirut rejects any interference in its internal affairs, saying recent Iranian statements on plans to disarm Hezbollah were “unconstructive.”

Iran’s foreign minister had rejected efforts to disarm the resistance in comments he made last week.

“The Lebanese state and its armed forces are responsible for the security of all Lebanese without exception. Any challenges coming from the zionist enemy or otherwise are challenges for all Lebanese, not just one group, and the most important weapon to face them is Lebanese unity,” the Lebanese president went on to tell Larijani.

The visit comes in the aftermath of a Lebanese Cabinet decision to disarm Hezbollah. The Lebanese army has been ordered to draft a plan to implement the decision and present it by the end of August.

The decision also places the end of this year as a deadline by which Hezbollah must be disarmed, in line with a US proposal.

Hezbollah accused the government of rushing the decision without first holding dialogue with the resistance movement on a national defensive strategy. It said it would “treat this decision as if it does not exist.”

Hezbollah has repeatedly stated in recent months that it would be willing to discuss incorporating its weapons into the state for use in defending and protecting Lebanon.

It stresses, however, that these discussions cannot take place until zionist colony withdraws its forces from south Lebanon and ends its near-daily attacks on the country.

Beirut had initially responded to Washington’s proposal for Hezbollah’s disarmament with demands that Israel withdraw and end its attacks first, but the Lebanese response was rejected.

Iran has supported Hezbollah financially and with weapons since the resistance movement was formed in 1982.

‏“This is not the first time they’ve tried to strip Hezbollah of its weapons,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said last week. “The reason is clear: The power of resistance has proven itself in the field.”

“But Hezbollah’s firm stance, reflected in its leader’s response and the latest statement, showed the group is standing strong and unyielding … [Hezbollah has] fully recovered from the blows of the war, reorganized its forces, and replaced commanders as needed,” Araghchi added.

According to reports from earlier in the week, Salam had been trying to prevent Larijani’s visit from taking place.

Al-Akhbar newspaper cited sources as saying that Salam made the suggestion after he received a Saudi request to do so.

The newspaper added that “Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea is exerting major pressures on Salam to convince President Joseph Aoun not to receive the Iranian official, something that was rejected by Aoun, who considered that such a move would violate all diplomatic norms.”

Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji is also “continuing his domestic and foreign contacts in an attempt to cancel the visit or force Iran to offer an apology over the statements that supported the resistance (Hezbollah),” Al-Akhbar said.

  • The tragic tale of a refugee camp harbouring Palestinians and Southern Lebanese

Today, we remember Tal Al-Zaatar, Hill of Thyme, where 3,000 Palestinians were martyred by zionist-backed Christian militias.

The tragedy of Tal El Zaatar is one of darkest chapters written in the history of the liberation for Palestine. It is a crime that was committed against people who had been already dispossessed, displaced, murdered, and forgotten. It was an attempt to dispossess, displace, murder, and forget them again.

The Tal El Zaatar refugee camp for Palestinian refugees was established in 1950, an UNRWA administered refugee camp for Palestinian refugees in northeastern Beirut. The area housed, alongside Palestinian refugees, a Lebanese working class, the majority of whom had come to work under harsh conditions from the southern regions of Lebanon. The population of the area was 25,000, half of whom were Palestinians.

On April 13, 1975, an assassination attempt targeted Pierre Gemayel, the leader of the fascist Christian Kataeb Party. Gemayel accused Palestinians of being behind it. On the same day and in the same area, the Kataeb Party targeted a bus in Ain El-Rummaneh heading to the Tal El Zaatar camp, opening fire on its passengers killing 27 people. This would be the start of 15 years of bloodshed in Lebanon after the right-wing parties in Lebanon announced their war on Palestinian presence and the Lebanese parties allied with them.

The siege on the camp began in January of 1976. On June 17th, fascist forces began their attack on Tal El Zaatar. More than 8,000 bombs fell on the camp that day. Electricity, water, and roads were cut off. Hundreds of civilians were martyred or injured. On August 12th, a large attack started following Syria’s entry. All kinds of atrocities were carried out, with indiscriminate killing of women, children, and elderly. Women were raped, and pregnant mothers had their bellies cut.

The survivors tell countless stories and testimonies.

A Kataeb fighter asked a Palestinian nurse for his name, and he replied: “Elias.”
The fighter said, “Palestinian, and named Elias too!”
He shot him, leading to his martyrdom. (“The Siege of Tal El Zaatar: Testimonies and Analysis” by Ali Hussein Khalaf, 1976.)

  • Al-Suwaidaa | Jolani’s HTS execute civilian inside Al-Suwaidaa National hospital caught on camera

SOHR has obtained a copy of a video showing a horrific execution carried out against a civilian inside Al-Suwaidaa National hospital.
The footage shows members of the Ministries of Defence and Interior [Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists] dragging the young man and then physically assaulting him before shooting him directly.
The video shows dozens of individuals wearing hospital work uniforms kneeling during the execution, reflecting a state of tension and terror that prevailed in the site. Following the execution, the victim’s body was dragged away to an unknown place.
This video is only one example of the violations committed against civilians in Al-Suwaidaa, where SOHR has documented the execution of 401 individuals.
On August 7, SOHR sources reported that women from a family in “Radhima Al-Luwa” village were returned to Al-Suwaydaa after being kidnapped for nine days by gunmen affiliated with government forces [Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists], who appeared with them in a widely circulated video on social media in recent days.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the family’s House was attacked, where a man, his son and his daughter-in-law were killed and a little girl and other women were injured, before the assailants set the house on fire and kidnapped the remaining family members.
Those kidnapped included the girl “Lamar,” a woman, a young woman and another little girl, all of whom appeared in the video footage being transported from one location to another. They were first taken to Al-Surah Al-Kabirah village, then to Hama province, before being returned to Al-Suwaidaa following the video’s circulation, which caused widespread public outrage and social pressure, amid negotiations that eventually led to their release.
SOHR calls for the formation of an independent committee including representatives from all concerned parties to follow up the issue of the missing people, disclosure their fate and ensure accountability for those involved in these serious violations.

  • About international guarantees that shed Lebanese’ blood or zion*sts must not be trusted

On August 10, 2006, the story of the “Marjeyoun Survival” turned into a dark page in the history of the conflict with the zion*st enemy.

zionist occupation army raided Marjeyoun barracks on that day, when Lebanon was subjected to a brutal zionist war that lasted for 33 days. The occupation forces took over the barracks without any resistance from the Lebanese troops and security forces who laid their arms.

It was agreed that the town, which is 8 km away from the border with occupied Palestine, would be safely evacuated, and that the zionist enemy would not attack the convoy, as stipulated by the guarantees presented via the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

These guarantees, brokered by the United States and France, were allegedly intended to remove the Lebanese forces who were detained at the barracks, along with stranded civilians, from the danger zone. But what happened was a resounding shock!

The convoy had set out on August 11 (2006). It was escorted by two UNIFIL vehicles.

Instead of escaping, Israeli enemy aircraft pursued the convoy of approximately 759 vehicles after it reached the Western Bekaa Valley, brutally targeting them and turning their path into a massacre.

The attack, which was conducted with nine bombs, resulted in the deaths of at least seven people, wounding of at least 36 and the destruction of a number of vehicles.

That attack in 2006 was a harsh lesson that says it all about the conflict with an enemy that does not abide by any covenant or pact, as the false US-French guarantees given to the Lebanese government at the time were merely an illusion and a deception.

The Marjeyoun convoy attack confirms a solid fact: The enemy cannot be trusted, and all international guarantees or regional promises aimed at disarming the resistance are merely a temporary cover for achieving the enemy’s goals, which seeks nothing but a moment of weakness that will enable it to achieve what it has been unable to achieve during the latest war in late 2024.

Our history is replete with examples that show that surrendering power is an open invitation to aggression. When the resistance is disarmed, the homeland is left exposed to the enemy’s ambitions.

Weapons are not just a combat tool, but rather a “symbol of the national will to defend the homeland and protect the sovereignty,” and resistance is the last line of defense.

The Marjeyoun convoy attack has proven that relying on international promises, in the absence of a real deterrent force, is a bet on defeat. Anyone who places their security in the hands of the enemy is willingly committing suicide, and we do not want to commit suicide.

This is my will and my final message.

If these words have reached you, then know that “israel” has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice.
First, may the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you.

Allah knows that I gave everything I had in effort and strength to be a support and a voice for my people, ever since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of the Jabalia refugee camp. My hope was that Allah would extend my life until I could return, with my family and loved ones, to our original hometown of Asqalan (Al-Majdal), but Allah’s will came first, and His decree is carried out.

I have lived pain in all its details, and I have tasted suffering and loss many times. Despite this, I never hesitated to convey the truth as it is, without falsification or distortion, hoping that Allah would bear witness to those who stayed silent, to those who accepted our killing, and to those who suffocated our breaths; whose hearts were unmoved by the remains of our children and women, and who did not stop the massacre that our people have endured for more than a year and a half.

I urge you to hold fast to Palestine, the jewel in the crown of the Muslim world, and the heartbeat of every free soul in this world.

I urge you to care for its people and its wronged, innocent children, who were not granted the time to dream and live in safety and peace.

Their pure bodies were crushed beneath thousands of tons of “israeli” bombs and missiles, torn apart, their limbs scattered on the walls.

I urge you: let no chains silence you, and let no borders restrain you. Be bridges toward the liberation of the land and its people, until the sun of dignity and freedom rises over our stolen homeland.

I urge you to treat my family well.
I urge you to care for the light of my eyes, my beloved daughter Sham, whom the days did not allow me to see grow as I had dreamed.

I urge you to care for my dear son Salah, for whom I wished to be a support and a companion in life until he grew strong enough to bear my burdens and carry on the mission.

I urge you to care for my beloved mother, whose blessed prayers brought me to where I am today, whose supplications were my fortress, and whose light was my guide.
I pray that Allah strengthens her heart and rewards her for me in the best of ways.

I also urge you to care for my lifelong companion, my beloved wife, umm Salah, Bayan. The war kept us apart for many days and months, yet she remained true to the covenant, steadfast like the trunk of an olive tree that does not bend, patient and steadfast, carrying the trust in my absence with all her strength and faith.

I urge you to stand by them, to be their support after Allah Almighty.
If I die, then I die firm upon the principle, and I bear witness before Allah that I am content with His decree, believing in meeting Him, and certain that what is with Allah is better and everlasting.

O Allah, accept me among the martyrs, forgive me my past and future sins, and make my blood a light that illuminates the path of freedom for my people and my family.
Forgive me if I fell short, and pray for me to have mercy, for I have upheld the covenant and did not change or alter it.

    Do not forget Gaza…
And do not forget me from your sincere prayers for forgiveness and acceptance.

  • Italian dockworkers block passage of Saudi ship carrying arms for zion*st colony

Union leaders in Italy have warned that handling weapons shipments for zion*st colony constitutes complicity in war crimes.

Workers in the Italian port of Genoa have blocked passage of a Saudi vessel carrying weapons shipments bound for the colony.

The Bahri Yanbu, operated by Saudi shipping firm Bahri, had arrived in Genoa port from the US. Routine inspections revealed that the ship was carrying weapons and ammunition for Israel after 40 dock workers boarded the vessel.

“We don’t work for war,” said Jose Nivoi from the Autonomous Collective of Port Workers and the Union Sindicale di Base, adding that the Port Authority has promised talks for establishing “permanent observatory on arms trafficking.”Italian union leaders have warned that handling such shipments constitutes complicity in the war crimes carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip, vowing a ban on unloading weapons for warzones “by any means.”

Genoa port workers had previously intercepted a similar arms shipment on the same ship in 2019The incident is the latest of several similar shipment interceptions, signaling growing international opposition to Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

On 4 June, French dockworkers refused to load arms components destined for Israel at France’s Fos-Marseille. The ship was forced to leave the port without the cargo.

The latest interception comes as zionist is planning a full occupation of Gaza City. The brutal Israeli siege on the strip continues to worsen a severe famine, which has seen dozens, including children, die from starvation in recent weeks. Publicly, Saudi Arabia demands Palestinian statehood in exchange for officially normalizing ties with zionist colony, despite under-the-table dealings between Riyadh and Tel Aviv. In 2023, former Saudi intelligence colonel Rabih al-Anzi admitted back in 2023 that Saudi Arabia was helping arm Israel for its war against Hamas due to a shortage of western ammunition resulting from the Ukraine war.

In June this year, Anzi also said that Riyadh supported zionist war on Iran by opening its airspace to zionist jets and helping to intercept Iranian drones.

Other Arab states, including the UAE, which normalized ties with zionist in 2020, have contributed to the zionist military industry and the zionist economy throughout the genocidal war on Gaza.

    The Cradle Media report

It is noteworthy that after the US and Germany, Italy is the third largest arms supplier to the zionist colony.

  • UK-funded spy flights over Gaza linked to attack that killed British volunteers: Report

London has refused to release aerial footage of the deadly strikes that killed British aid workers.

The UK government is under renewed scrutiny over its military cooperation with Israel following revelations that it has used public funds to hire US contractors for surveillance operations over Gaza. Reports last week showed that Royal Air Force (RAF) aircraft have carried out hundreds of surveillance flights over the enclave during Israel’s ongoing war.

Middle East Eye (MEE) submitted a Freedom of Information request to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), asking whether it holds video footage captured by RAF aircraft of two Israeli strikes in Gaza that targeted British citizens or aid workers linked to UK charities.

The MoD declined to release the footage, citing national security and defense exemptions.

One of the strikes in question killed eight volunteers with the UK-based Al-Khair Foundation in March, while they set up tents for displaced Palestinians in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.

The attack resulted in the killing of at least 9 people and wounded several more.

When asked by MEE to comment, the British Foreign Office declined to condemn the killings.

In a separate inquiry, MEE also asked the MoD whether it holds footage from an RAF aircraft of a January 2024 Israeli strike on a compound housing doctors from a British charity, which occurred only one month after the Israeli military had informed UK officials that the site had been “de-conflicted.”

Tensions between the UK and Israel have intensified over security cooperation, as Tel Aviv threatened to halt intelligence sharing in response to Britain’s stated intention to recognize a Palestinian state.

zionist colony officials threatened that the UK “had a lot to lose,” while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused London of “rewarding terrorism.”

Although Mossad has reportedly provided intelligence to British agencies in the past, including information said to have helped prevent an attack on zionist colony’s embassy in London, military collaboration continues.

UK officials recently confirmed that zionist soldiers are receiving training in Britain, and investigations have shown that British companies are still exporting weapons components to Israeli firms, despite claims of a partial arms suspension.
