• Global Sumud Flotilla Detainees Go on Hunger Strike After zion¿st Attack

Activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla have gone on hunger strike since they were abducted by zion¿st forces in international waters while they were trying to take humanitarian aid to Gaza and break z?onist blockade of the strip.

On Friday, the International Committee to Break the Siege of Gaza said in a statement that several activists held aboard the vessels “announced that they have entered an open-ended hunger strike from the moment of their detention.”

The announcement comes as the Israeli military seized the final boat of the Global Sumud Flotilla, once a 44-strong fleet.

Livestream video showed Israeli forces forcing their way onboard the Polish-flagged Marinette, which reportedly has a crew of six, on Friday morning.

Speaking via video call with flotilla organizers late on Thursday, the Australian captain, who identified himself only as Cameron, explained that the vessel initially had engine issues and was therefore lagging behind the main group.

He said the boat is now “steaming” towards Gaza.

“We have a bunch of very tough Turks onboard … we’ve got a lady from Oman and myself, and we’re just going to continue in the direction,” Cameron added.

According to live geo tracker, the ship was intercepted in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea, some 43 nautical miles (about 80km) from Gaza’s territorial waters.

Since Wednesday, the Israeli navy has illegally intercepted flotilla vessels as they neared Gaza, detaining about 500 activists from more than 40 countries.

Several high-profile figures, including Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, former Barcelona mayor Ada Colau, and Member of European Parliament Rima Hassan, are among those abducted.

The zionist attack has been met with worldwide protests, including in European countries such as Italy, Belgium, and Scotland.

Since March 2, when zionist colony violated its ceasefire agreement with Hamas, the regime has sealed all border crossings into the enclave, blocking the entry of humanitarian aid and further deepening Gaza’s already dire humanitarian crisis.

The brutal blockade has pushed the famine-linked death toll to 453 people, including 150 children.

zionist colony has so far killed at least 66,225 Palestinians, mostly women and children, since it launched the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

  • zion>st colony carries out airstrikes in southern Lebanon in violation of ceasefire; 3 killed

At least three people have been killed and several others wounded in z¿onist air attacks on southern Lebanon, medical officials say, in the latest violation of a fragile ceasefire between the Tel Aviv regime and the Arab country that took effect in November 2024.
In a report on Thursday, Lebanon’s official National News Agency cited the Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Lebanese Health Ministry as saying that two men were targeted in an air raid that hit a car as it was traveling along a road linking the town of Jarmaq to the al-Khardali area.
The victims were later identified as engineers Ahmad Sa’ad and Mustafa Rizk, residents of Kfarreman region, located northeast of Nabatieh, who were on a mission to inspect the damage caused by ongoing Israeli aggression against the nearby towns.
Separately, one person was killed and five people were injured in an zionist drone strike in the Nabatieh governorate of southern Lebanon.

NNA said that the strike targeted a car in the town of Kafra in the Bint Jbeil district.
After nearly 14 months of war marked by heavy losses and the failure to achieve its objectives in the aggression against Lebanon, Israel was forced to agree to a ceasefire with Hezbollah, which came into effect on November 27, 2024.
Since then, Israeli forces have been carrying out attacks on Lebanon, which involve airstrikes, breaching the ceasefire.

On January 27, Lebanon announced its decision to extend the ceasefire with Israel until February 18.
This comes as Israel also maintains its occupation of five important locations in southern Lebanon, including Labbouneh, Mount Blat, Owayda Hill, Aaziyyeh, and Hammamis Hill, all of which are located near the border.

Global Sumud Flotilla vessels that have been intercepted by zionist forces in international waters have been brought to Ashdod Port.

About 45 new vessels have set sail from Turkey to Gaza in a renewed attempt to break the Gaza blockade.

  • zion¿st forces intercept Sumud Flotilla near Gaza, board vessels

Once again, Greta and Co. kidnapped on international waters.

zion>st naval forces have intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla, a monumental fleet attempting to break the suffocating Tel Aviv-imposed siege of the Gaza Strip.
According to flotilla organizers, Israeli patrol boats surrounded the fleet and intercepted at least two vessels near Gaza.
The flotilla said its boats were less than 90 nautical miles from Gaza.
    ‘Multiple vessels intercepted’
“Multiple vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla—notably Alma, Surius, Adara—were illegally intercepted and boarded by Israeli Occupation Forces in international waters,” the organizers said.

They also noted that “prior to illegally boarding the ships, it appears as though the Israeli naval vessels intentionally damaged ship communications, in an attempt to block distress signals and stop the live-stream of their illegal boat boarding.”
Live-stream coverage and communication, they regretted, has been lost with multiple other boats.
“We are diligently working to account for all participants and crew.”
This happened after the Israeli navy issued repeated orders for the flotilla to divert to the port of Ashdod in the Israeli-occupied territories.
The flotilla said it would try its utmost to relay information about the status of the boats, detentions, injuries, and potential casualties.
    ‘Illegal attack’
“This is an illegal attack on unarmed humanitarians in international waters,” it added.
The organizers called on governments, world leaders, and international institutions to demand the safety and release of all on board and continue to monitor the situation closely.
    ‘We’ll continue undeterred’
Later, the flotilla affirmed that it was 70 nautical miles away from the Palestinian territory, insisting that notwithstanding the interceptions and sabotage, its vessels “will continue undeterred.”
The GSF comprises more than 50 boats, which embarked from Barcelona late last month on a mission to break, what has been denounced by human rights bodies as, one of the world’s strictest and most inhumane blockades.
The flotilla has been described as the largest maritime mission of its kind in decades, carrying delegations from at least 44 countries.
On their way to Gaza, participants had reported multiple instances of “dangerous” escalation by the regime, including explosions, heavy drone swarms, and communications jamming.”
They had described the incidents as a harbinger of stronger aggression against the fleet’s 500-plus civilian volunteers.
Also on Wednesday, the activists said the attacks targeting the vessels reflected “the lengths.

They had described the incidents as a harbinger of stronger aggression against the fleet’s 500-plus civilian volunteers.
Also on Wednesday, the activists said the attacks targeting the vessels reflected “the lengths to which the occupier will go to keep Gaza starved.”
The flotilla is the latest in a series of maritime efforts by international activists to challenge the Israeli regime’s near-total blockade of the coastal sliver.
Similar attempts in past years have often ended with Israeli interception at sea, sparking widespread condemnations.
    ‘A dark time in humanity’
Speaking in a video made amid the situation, one of the participants described the situation at hand as “some dark times in humanity” as governments worldwide “are failing us as people.”
He highlighted the ongoing “attack on innocent Palestinians, who have been slaughtered for the last two years,” stressing that such oppression could not be tolerated.
The activist was referring to the Israeli regime’s October 2023-present war of genocide on Gaza that has so far claimed the lives of more than 66,100 Palestinians mostly women and children, hundreds of whom have succumbed to death due to the starvation that was being enforced through the blockade.
The activist said the flotilla represented working-class solidarity from scores of countries, cautioning that “if Israel attacks one of these vessels, that is not only an attack on the vessel, but that’s an attack on every single person that’s in solidarity with this movement.”
The participant advised reinforcement of popular action targeting the regime and its supporters, including through shutting down of the corporations that were complicit in the genocide and taking protest action against Israeli embassies and the diplomatic missions of the states that contributed to the bloodletting.
In protest at targeting of the fleet, Italy’s Unione Sindacale di Base (USB) trade union announced a nationwide general strike for October 3.
It recalled its earlier pledge to halt work if the convoy were targeted, denouncing the Israeli regime for breaking international law.

  • Yemen says ready to join Colombia-proposed ‘global army’ to liberate Palestine

The chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council has commended the Colombian president’s recent proposal during his UN speech to create a global army tasked with liberating Palestine from US-backed zionist occupation and aggression.

Mahdi al-Mashat made the remarks on Tuesday, calling the proposal “courageous and historic,” and reaffirming Yemen’s readiness to provide all forms of support for the liberation of Palestine.

The Yemeni official said he, his country’s Armed Forces, and its people were “proud” of President Gustavo Petro’s stance.

He noted that Yemen was already “engaged in the war against the zionist enemy entity,” citing Sana’a’s naval blockade on Israeli ships and vessels heading towards the occupied Palestinian territories.

Mashat also referred to the Armed Forces’ having staged numerous solidarity operations in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who have been under an Israeli war of genocide since October 2023.

The forces, the official said, had staged missile and drone strikes penetrating more than “2,000 kilometers (1,242 miles) into occupied Palestine.”

“We will continue to do so, and we welcome everyone who wishes to contribute to this military effort in defense of human values.”

Addressing the United Nations Security Council recently, Petro made an unprecedented and daring call for “a strong army of nations that do not accept genocide.”

“We must gather weapons and armies. We must liberate Palestine,” he added.

The US, the zionist regime’s biggest ally, decided to revoke his visa afterwards, to which Petro responded, “I don’t care.”

Appreciating the Yemeni nation’s support for his stance, Petro published a post on his X account that read, “Within the Arab countries, within humanity itself.”

Observers said the appreciative remarks signaled the Colombian head of state’s acknowledgment that his idea was gaining traction throughout the globe, including among Arab nations.

The Colombian president also personally thanked Mashat in another post.

  • Global Sumud Flotilla nears Gaza coast as activists brace for z¿onist interception

The flotilla’s ‘Orange Line’ crossing is the same waters where zion?st forces previously illegally seized the Handala and Madleen aid ships.

The Global Sumud Flotilla reached 150 nautical miles from Gaza’s coast on 30 September, with activists declaring they are now in zion#stt colony’s “kidnapping zone” and warning of possible interception within the next two days.

“As we approach 150 nautical miles distance from Gaza, we enter zionist kidnapping zone. Keep all eyes on us and on Gaza in the coming 48 hours. It’s about damn time to break the siege,” activist Roos Ykema said in a video posted on Instagram.

Organizers believe the fleet could arrive in Gaza within three days, depending on speed, weather, and the risk of mechanical breakdowns or zionist attacks.

They have named the 150-mile line the “Orange Line,” the point where previous aid ships such as the Madleen and Handala were illegally seized by zionist naval forces earlier this year.

Rights groups are calling for demonstrations outside foreign ministries in case of arrests or assaults on the flotilla.

Italy and Spain have both sent warships to follow the convoy, reportedly to escort the aid fleet safely and guard against zionist attacks.

Most recently, Turkiye confirmed its navy intervened after one of the ships began leaking, with footage showing frigates assisting the flotilla.

The Turkish Defense Ministry said on X that its vessels were operating “in coordination with relevant institutions” and reaffirmed their commitment to “the protection of humanitarian values and the safety of innocent civilians.”

The Flotilla has called on governments, including Turkiye, Italy, and Spain, to move past symbolic gestures and join the fleet to Gaza’s shores, upholding the right to free passage and ensuring humanitarian access under international law.

However, despite the assistance, calls to action, and pledges of support, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni previously dismissed the mission as “gratuitous, dangerous, irresponsible,” insisting aid could be routed through Cyprus and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

Her proposal echoed Israeli demands that all supplies be unloaded at Ashkelon under its supervision, a condition flotilla organizers rejected as an extension of the blockade rather than a neutral arrangement.

Several of the Sumud Flotilla ships have already come under attack, including two struck by suspected Israeli drones while docked in Tunisia earlier this month.

An online tracker shows the vessels sailing near Egyptian waters and pressing toward Gaza. Despite tensions, activist Kieran Andrieu reported that morale on board “is higher than it’s been in a long time.”

The fleet, carrying activists, journalists, and artists from 44 countries, is the latest attempt to shatter Israel’s siege on Gaza, where famine grips the population, and genocide continues unchallenged.
