• z¿onist occupation blocks 6,000 aid trucks from entering Gaza despite ceasefire

zion¿st colonial office is blocking the entry of around 6,000 trucks loaded with food, medicine and relief supplies destined for Gaza, enough to sustain the besieged territory for three months.

UNRWA media adviser Adnan Abu Hasna said on Tuesday that although the amount of aid entering the besieged territory has “nominally increased” since the ceasefire took effect in October, the flow remains far below the level required to meet the overwhelming needs of a population devastated by two years of genocide and blockade.

In October, Israel notified the United Nations that it would only allow 300 aid trucks into the besieged strip each day, cutting the agreed number by half.

Abu Hasna said ever since, the Tel Aviv regime has prevented the entry of essential items, including medical supplies, water, sanitation equipment, and basic foodstuffs.

The shipment Israel is holding also contains hundreds of thousands of tents and blankets intended for the 1.3 million displaced Palestinians across the territory.

“What has been allowed in is a limited number of trucks carrying commercial goods,” Abu Hasna said, adding that 95 percent of Gaza’s population relies entirely on humanitarian aid and cannot afford to buy commercial items even if they reach the market.

Most families, he said, have lost all purchasing power, leaving aid as their only means of survival.

UNRWA says it is continuing to negotiate access for the seized shipments but warns that the situation is becoming “unmanageable.”

Meanwhile, human rights organizations warn that the shortage of food, clean water, medicine, and shelter has pushed Gaza to the brink of famine.

Groups including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and Euro-Med Monitor have repeatedly warned Israel against using starvation as a method of warfare by obstructing aid and destroying essential infrastructure.

The UN says humanitarian agencies need access to at least 500 trucks per day to stabilize conditions in Gaza, yet the current entry rate remains a fraction of that.

Aid agencies have also warned that without the release of the thousands of stalled trucks, Gaza’s already catastrophic humanitarian crisis will continue to deteriorate, with hospitals unable to function, displaced families lacking shelter, and disease spreading rapidly through overcrowded camps.

  • Former officer exposes war crimes by British troops in Afghanistan after years of cover-up

A former UK Special Forces officer has revealed that British troops committed “war crimes” in Afghanistan while the chain of command tried to suppress evidence of long-term executions of detainees by Special Air Service (SAS) units operating across the country.

The former Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations at UK Special Forces headquarters said in a testimony under the name of cipher N1466 that as early as 2011 he believed there was a “strong potential of criminal behavior” by SAS units, yet the top commanders chose internal reviews over criminal investigation.

“I will be clear, we are talking about war crimes,” he told the Independent Inquiry relating to Afghanistan, which on Monday released redacted transcripts of his previously closed-door sessions.

N1466 stressed that the chain of command failed to stop extrajudicial shootings, including of two small children, after the alarm was first raised in early 2011, and that the failure allowed them to continue until 2013.

Commissioning a review in April 2011 from an officer at Special Forces headquarters of recent SAS operations, N1466 said the results looked “startlingly bad” for the SAS.

The review formed part of the evidence he presented to the then-director of Special Forces in 2011.

N1466 testified that the director “absolutely knew what was happening” in Afghanistan with regard to the war crimes, and “absolutely knew what his responsibilities were” when it came to reporting the allegations to military police.

The director did not contact police, but instead ordered an internal review of the SAS squadron’s tactics – a move N1466 described as a “warning shot” to the squadron to tone down the violence.

The director had made “a conscious decision that he is going to suppress this, cover it up and do a little fake exercise to make it look like he’s done something,” N1466 said.

In an inquiry launched in 2023 by Lord Justice Haddon-Cave, there are claims that 80 people were summarily killed by members of three different British SAS units operating in Afghanistan, with N1466 saying it was “not just one director that has known about this,” adding that UK Special Forces leadership was “very much suppressing” the allegations.

British forces were among the largest contingents of the US-led NATO military alliance forces that invaded Afghanistan from 2001 to 2021 to purportedly root out the ruling Taliban government and terrorism across war-ravaged Afghanistan.

However, after 20 years of their military occupation of the country — marked by many reports of war crimes against Afghan civilians and militants by the US-led forces — terror acts remained prevalent across the country and the Taliban rule was re-established in Kabul.

Over the course of the deployment, 454 British service personnel lost their lives in Afghanistan.

  • SIPRI Top 100 arms producers see combined revenues surge as states rush to modernize and expand arsenals

Revenues from sales of arms and military services by the 100 largest arms-producing companies rose by 5.9 per cent in 2024, reaching a record $679 billion, according to new data released today by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), available at http://www.sipri.org.

Global arms revenues rose sharply in 2024, as demand was boosted by the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, global and regional geopolitical tensions, and ever-higher military expenditure. For the first time since 2018, all of the five largest arms companies increased their arms revenues.

Although the bulk of the global rise was due to companies based in Europe and the United States, there were year-on-year increases in all of the world regions featured in the Top 100. The only exception was Asia and Oceania, where issues within the Chinese arms industry drove down the regional total.

The surge in revenues and new orders prompted many arms companies to expand production lines, enlarge facilities, establish new subsidiaries or conduct acquisitions.

‘Last year global arms revenues reached the highest level ever recorded by SIPRI as producers capitalized on high demand,’ said Lorenzo Scarazzato, Researcher with the SIPRI Military Expenditure and Arms Production Programme. ‘Although companies have been building their production capacity, they still face a range of challenges that could affect costs and delivery schedules.’

US arms revenues grow but delays and cost overruns persist
In 2024 the combined arms revenues of US arms companies in the Top 100 grew by 3.8 per cent to reach $334 billion, with 30 out of the 39 US companies in the ranking increasing their arms revenues. These included major arms producers such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics.

However, widespread delays and budget overruns continue to plague development and production in key US-led programmes such as the F-35 combat aircraft, the Columbia-class submarine and the Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). Several of the USA’s largest arms producers are affected by overruns, raising uncertainty about when major new weapon systems and upgrades to existing ones can be delivered and deployed.

‘The delays and rising costs will inevitably impact US military planning and military spending,’ said Xiao Liang, Researcher with the SIPRI Military Expenditure and Arms Production Programme. ‘This could have knock-on effects on the US government’s efforts to cut excessive military spending and improve budget efficiency.’

Rearmament under way in Europe, but threat of supply chain problems grows
Of the 26 arms companies in the Top 100 based in Europe (excluding Russia), 23 recorded increasing arms revenues. Their aggregate arms revenues grew by 13 per cent to $151 billion. This increase was tied to demand stemming from the war in Ukraine and the perceived threat from Russia. The Czech company Czechoslovak Group recorded the sharpest percentage increase in arms revenues of any Top 100 company in 2024: by 193 per cent, to reach $3.6 billion. The company attributes the majority of its revenue to Ukraine. Czechoslovak Group benefited from the Czech Ammunition Initiative, a government-led project to source artillery shells for Ukraine. Ukraine’s own JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry increased its arms revenues by 41 per cent to $3.0 billion.

‘European arms companies are investing in new production capacity to meet the rising demand,’ said Jade Guiberteau Ricard, Researcher with the SIPRI Military Expenditure and Arms Production Programme. ‘But sourcing materials could pose a growing challenge. In particular, dependence on critical minerals is likely to complicate European rearmament plans.’

As an example of the risks of such dependence, the trans-European company Airbus and France’s Safran met half of their pre-2022 titanium needs with Russian imports and have had to find new suppliers. Furthermore, in light of Chinese export restrictions on critical minerals, companies including France’s Thales and Germany’s Rheinmetall warned in 2024 of the potential high costs of restructuring their supply chains.

  • Netanyahu asks colonial president Herzog for pardon from corruption charges

Netanyahu has asked the colonial president Herzog to grant him a pardon from corruption charges.
On Sunday, Netanyahu submitted a formal pardon request to the office of colonial President Isaac Herzog. The office confirmed it had received Netanyahu’s “extraordinary request” for a pardon from all charges against him and his family.
Herzog’s office noted that any decision on the request will carry “significant implications” inside the regime and internationally.
Herzog must now decide on Netanyahu’s pardon request.
Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump, who himself faces numerous charges in US courts, wrote to Herzog recommending that he pardon Netanyahu.
Critics say Trump and Netanyahu are accomplices in crime, and both have the blood of tens of thousands of innocent Palestinian people on their hands.
In a video statement, Netanyahu claimed the long-running corruption cases were tearing the Israeli regime apart.
He claimed that he really wanted to continue the legal process until his formal court acquittal, “but the security and political reality” of the Israeli regime requires otherwise.
The Israeli regime “is facing enormous challenges,” he insisted, claiming, “The continuation of the trial is tearing us apart from within, arousing fierce divisions, intensifying rifts.”
Netanyahu faces charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of public trust in three separate cases.
In one of the cases alone, lodged against Netanyahu and his wife, the duo is accused of receiving luxury items worth more than $260,000 in the form of expensive cigars, jewellery, and champagne in exchange for political favors.
The cases against Netanyahu have exposed the wide division among the Israelis. His supporters have dismissed the trials as politically motivated, while his opponents see them as ample evidence of the prime minister’s criminality.
This comes as Netanyahu is also the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) over war crimes against innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan announced in 2024 that he was seeking warrants for Netanyahu and his former war minister, Yoav Gallant.
The Israeli regime and its backers have rejected the ICC’s jurisdiction, and Netanyahu has claimed Khan’s ruling is politically motivated.

The international arrest warrant issued by the ICC, alongside the domestic corruption cases filed against Netanyahu, adds to the mounting pressure on the embattled Israeli PM amid the regime’s genocidal war on the Palestinian people in Gaza.

  • Pope Leo XIV Arrives in Lebanon for Historic Visit Amid Grand National Welcome

Pope Leo XIV arrived in Lebanon on Sunday for a historic visit set to continue through Tuesday, delivering a message of peace, hope, and solidarity to the nation.

In a vibrant display of national celebration, the Lebanese army fired 21 artillery rounds, ships at Beirut Port sounded their horns, and church bells rang across the country. Lebanese flags and Vatican banners adorned the roads, while thousands of citizens lined the streets to welcome the Pontiff.

Upon disembarking at Rafic Hariri International Airport, the Pope was greeted by President Michel Aoun and First Lady Naamat Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his spouse, Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri and his spouse, as well as Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Al-Rai. An official welcoming ceremony was held in the ceremonial airport tent, attended by prominent religious and political leaders.

    Ceremonial Honors and Religious Delegations
Following the landing, Pope Leo XIV and President Aoun proceeded to the main platform, where His Holiness greeted Patriarch Joseph I Absi of Antioch and All the East of the Melkite Greek Catholics, Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian of the Armenian Catholics of Cilicia, and Patriarch Ignatius Joseph III Younan of the Syriac Catholics. After the playing of the Vatican and Lebanese national anthems and the formal honors, the Pope and the accompanying Lebanese delegation exchanged greetings with the visiting Vatican entourage.

After a short reception in the presidential hall at the airport, the papal delegation departed for Baabda Palace. Along the route, thousands of scouts from the Imam Mahdi Organization lined the streets, accompanied by scout bands performing special compositions for the occasion—a display of civility, respect, and national pride that reflected Lebanon’s cultural openness and ethical values.

As the Pope’s plane entered Lebanese airspace, it was escorted by the Lebanese Air Force, while naval vessels sounded their horns and the army fired 21 salutes upon landing. White narcissus flowers, symbolizing hope and renewal, decorated the airport halls, and incense filled the ceremonial space. Citizens carrying Lebanese and Vatican flags lined the route to offer a warm and heartfelt welcome.

    Meetings with Lebanese Leadership
At Baabda Palace, Pope Leo XIV met with President Michel Aoun, followed by Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.

The visit also included engagements with representatives of civil society, members of the diplomatic corps, and other prominent political and religious figures, underscoring the broad national and spiritual significance of this historic visit.

  • Trump says Venezuela airspace ‘closed in its entirety’ amid threats of military action

US President Donald Trump says the entire airspace above Venezuela should be considered closed, further escalating tensions between the United States and the South American nation.
In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote on Saturday, “To all Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers, please consider the airspace above and surrounding Venezuela to be closed in its entirety.”
There was no immediate response from Venezuela to Trump’s remarks.
Last week, several airlines rerouted flights away from Venezuelan airspace after the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a warning about a “potentially hazardous situation” due to “worsening security and heightened military activity in or around” the country.
In retaliation, Venezuela revoked the operating licenses of six major international airlines that had suspended flights following the FAA alert.
The nation’s civil aviation authority accused the carriers of “joining the actions of state terrorism promoted by the United States government and unilaterally suspending air commercial operations.”
Since September, the US has carried out a series of strikes on boats in waters off Central and South America, claiming they were transporting narcotics to the United States. More than 80 people have been killed in the attacks.

Critics, including a growing number of members of the US Congress, argue that the strikes lack legal justification and amount to extrajudicial killings.
On Thursday, Trump threatened to target what he called Venezuelan drug trafficking “by land,” saying, “Also, the land is easier, but that’s going to start very soon.”
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who has repeatedly denied any ties to the drug trade, condemned the US stance as “excuses and lies” used to justify intervention in his country.
In a nationally broadcast speech on Thursday, the Venezuelan leader vowed that his people would not be intimidated by Washington.
Observers warn that Washington’s militarized posture toward Venezuela echoes a familiar strategy of regime change in Latin America.

  • Handala hacking group breaches zion¿st nuclear scientist’s data, sends him symbolic flower bouquet

A group of pro-Palestinian hackers has announced that it has infiltrated systems linked to zionist colony’s nuclear research sector, gaining access to personal details of a renowned Israeli nuclear scientist, Dr. Isaac Gertz.
The Handala hacking group, in a statement on Saturday, said its breach targeted the Sorek Nuclear Research Center and that it had obtained comprehensive information about Gertz, including his personal profile, educational background, and addresses for both his home and workplace, associated with the Sorek and Saraf facilities.
The group further stated that it had delivered a bouquet of flowers to Gertz, signed by the Handala Truth Seekers Popular Resistance Front (HPR), which was left in the trunk of the scientist’s vehicle.
According to Handala, the move was intended to showcase the group’s asserted physical and cyber infiltration, underscoring the vulnerabilities within the facility’s security systems.
The group also announced the payment of “the first $10,000 reward” previously promised, without providing further details.

According to Handala, the move was intended to showcase the group’s asserted physical and cyber infiltration, underscoring the vulnerabilities within the facility’s security systems.
The group also announced the payment of “the first $10,000 reward” previously promised, without providing further details.

The latest development came one day after the anniversary of the assassination of Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was killed near Tehran in November 2020.
Handala hinted that “more unusual events” could occur in the future, but did not provide details.

The circumstances surrounding how the bouquet was placed in Gertz’s vehicle remain uncertain.
Handala has previously carried out a series of cyberattacks, targeting Israeli regime facilities, resulting in the leak of sensitive military data, diplomatic communications, and other classified information.

The hacking group has also defaced numerous websites and compromised the accounts of several high-profile Israeli politicians.
In April last year, Handala hacktivists successfully infiltrated the zionist military’s radar systems and took down the much-hyped Israeli air defense system, the Iron Dome.
The group substantiated its claims by sharing screenshots documenting the hacking of the radars.

  • Yemen Marks 58th Independence Anniversary with Calls to Confront ‘New Occupation’

The Yemeni government in Sana’a held an official ceremony Saturday to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the British withdrawal from southern Yemen, striking a tone of defiance against present-day influences.

In a speech during the event, Hadhramaut Governor, Major General Luqman Baras, framed the historical independence as a victory of Yemeni will over the British colonizer, achieved through struggle and sacrifice rather than as a “grant from Britain.”

“Today we celebrate with our heads held high the repulsion of the British invader, and we remember the sacrifices of our ancestors who embarked on resistance and liberation,” Baras stated to an audience of political, military, and popular leaders.

Governor Baras urged the people of the southern provinces, which he described as being under a “new occupation,” to draw inspiration from the 14th of October 1963 revolution—a pivotal moment in the anti-British struggle. He explicitly called for a new uprising, stating, “We call on you to carry out an armed revolution if necessary to force the new occupiers to leave and achieve independence once again, as our ancestors did decades ago.”

The speech did not specify the “new occupiers,” but it resonates in a context where southern Yemen is influenced by a complex web of forces, including the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) and the Saudi-backed factions.

The anniversary event served as a platform to reinforce a narrative of continuous resistance, linking the historical fight against British colonialism to the current multifaceted conflict, and underscoring the enduring political divisions and power struggles that define modern Yemen.

Southern Yemen marks the 58th anniversary of independence from British colonial rule on November 30. The date commemorates the establishment of the People’s Republic of South Yemen in 1967 after a protracted armed struggle.

  • Hezbollah: We Rely on Pope Leo’s Stances in Rejecting Unjust zion¿st Aggression on Lebanon

Hezbollah on Saturday extended full welcome of Pope Leo XIV, highlighting the country’s unique geographical position and its diverse religious composition as vital for political stability and national security.

In a letter, Hezbollah said it relies on the pontiff’s “stances in rejecting the injustice and aggression to which our homeland, Lebanon, is subjected at the hands of the Zionist invaders and their supporters.”

“We convey our heartfelt welcome and deep appreciation for Your Holiness and for the visit you have dedicated to Lebanon; this beautiful country, blessed by God with its geographical location and its harmonious religious diversity, living together in unity and general consensus, two essential characteristics for the stability of its political system and its national security,” Hezbollah’s letter read. The Lebanese resistance group recalled late Pope John Paul II, citing his quote on Lebanon: “Not merely a homeland, but a message.” Hezbollah stressed that Lebanon, “with its diverse composition, represents a civilizational bridge between the followers of the two Abrahamic faiths, Christianity and Islam, as well as between the followers of religious, cultural, and secular ideologies all over the world.”

Hezbollah hailed Pope Leo’s directives, saying his messages convey “a firm commitment to human rights and the necessity of respecting and protecting them.”

“The conflicts the world is witnessing today stem, at their root, from the refusal of some to acknowledge or respect the rights of others, whether due to differences in religion, race, or other factors,” the letter added.

In this context, Hezbollah noted that “the decline in respect for human rights among some, whether leaders, entities, parties, sects, states, or organizations, fuels and reinforces tendencies toward greed, control, domination, and resorting to force instead of resorting to justice.”

    Tragedy in Gaza

Hezbollah, meanwhile drew the Pope’s attention to the ongoing tragedy in Gaza, stressing that it results from “the Zionist occupiers’ persistent usurpation of the Palestinian people’s rights.”

In this regard, the Lebanese resistance group pointed to the “international system’s refusal to adopt the standards of justice and right in finding a solution to the ongoing conflict in our region between the rightful owners of the land and the usurping occupier.”Lebanon Suffering

Shifting into Lebanon, Hezbollah said: “Likewise, the Lebanese people endure suffering as a result of the Zionist occupation of parts of their land, and the continued attacks against them and the threat to their security and stability in their country.”

“Undoubtedly, the Zionist occupation enjoys—unfortunately—unlimited support from major powers that share its tendency toward domination and covetousness of our country’s and region’s interests, with utter disregard for the rights of our people and the peoples of the region.”

Hezbollah, in this context, affirmed that “what the Israeli enemy has done in Gaza against the Palestinian people is a clear act of genocide, and that “what is doing in Lebanon is a blatant and unacceptable act of aggression.”Commitment to Coexistence

The message added that Hezbollah takes the opportunity of the Pope’s visit to reaffirm commitment “to coexistence, to consensual democracy, to maintaining internal security and stability, and to safeguarding national sovereignty by standing with our army and our people to confront any aggression or occupation of our land and country.”

“We also affirm our legitimate right to reject foreign interference that seeks to impose its hegemony on our country and our people, and to usurp our national decision-making power and the authority of our constitutional institutions.”

Hezbollah also made an indirect call to the pontiff to have a clear stance regarding the Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

“If our faith affirms that the followers of Jesus Christ, son of Mary, are messengers of love, upholding rights and respecting humanity, then we rely on Your Holiness’s stance in rejecting the injustice and aggression to which our homeland, Lebanon, is subjected at the hands of the Zionist invaders and their supporters.”
