US envoy admits Washington twice tried and failed to topple Iran’s government
In his latest interview, US Special Envoy Tom Barrack admits that the United States had carried out two unsuccessful ‘Regime Change’ operations in Iran.
https://t.me/presstv/167122Epstein-affiliate Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack says Washington attempted twice in the past to overthrow the Iranian government but achieved nothing.
In an interview with the UAE-based IMI Media Group, published by The National newspaper on Friday, Barrack said that since 1946, the United States has led about 93 coups or “regime change” attempts across the world, including two in Iran, none of which succeeded.
“For (Trump) then to be imputed with regime change, we had two regime changes in Iran already. Neither one worked. So I think wisely leave it to the region to solve,” said Barrack, who is also the US ambassador to Turkey.
The remarks came six months after the US joined Israel in bombing Iran in the very midst of indirect Tehran-Washington nuclear talks.
Israel launched an illegal aggression against Iran on June 13, killing at least 1,064 people and targeting civilian infrastructure.
More than a week later, the United States targeted three Iranian nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan— in a grave violation of international law.
On June 24, Iran managed to impose a halt to the criminal assault after conducting waves of successful retaliatory operations.Barrack also claimed that US President Donald Trump and Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio “are not into regime change” and prefer “a regional solution” by the parties in the region.
He acknowledged that regional dialogue and non-interference by external powers provide a more sustainable path forward.
The US administration, he alleged, remains open to reaching an agreement with Tehran, provided that Iranian authorities demonstrate “seriousness” and commitment to engaging in constructive dialogue.
In an interview with Japan’s Kyodo News agency on Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the United States has yet to demonstrate readiness for “real, serious negotiation.”
Talks could progress once the United States recognized Iran’s right to a peaceful nuclear energy program and lifted the unilateral sanctions it had imposed on the country, he noted.PressTV report

zion¿st colony genocide leaves over 21,000 Palestinian children ‘disabled or amputated’
At least 21,000 Palestinian children have been left disabled or amputated since the Israeli regime unleashed its genocidal war against the people of Gaza in October 2023.
According to figures shared by Mohamad Safa, Executive Director and Main Representative of PVA to the United Nations ECOSOC in New York, more than 40,500 children have suffered new war-related injuries in Gaza.
He said over 56,348 children have also been orphaned during the two years of war.
Safa also warned that acute hunger is spreading rapidly in Gaza and tens of thousands of children now depend entirely on humanitarian support. In a separate post on social media platform X, Safa urged urgent donations to help families who are “on the brink.”
He warned that children are facing starvation alongside untreated injuries and trauma.Children are suffering from severe hunger. @PVAenglish urgently needs more donations to help vulnerable families. I’ve donated. For you it’s just the matter of few bucks, for families it’s the matter of life. If you don’t have some bucks, a share is free
The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared a state of catastrophic famine in Gaza earlier this year. While limited aid has trickled into the territory since October, experts warn that the famine’s impact could fundamentally alter Gaza for generations.
In a related development, the United Nations called for an investigation into Israel’s killing of two boys in the so-called yellow line in Gaza on Saturday. The regime’s forces shot dead two brothers aged eight and ten in a drone strike east of Khan Younis.
The boys were sent out to gather firewood for the family, their father told CNN, but never returned. He said his kids’ small bodies were torn to pieces by the blast.
Israel later acknowledged the attack, claiming the children had crossed the so-called yellow line.
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric described the killing of the children as “horrific,” saying it was “hard to see how two boys, eight and 10, can be considered a threat.”
Dujarric called for a full investigation and accountability into the attack.
The so-called yellow line, a ceasefire demarcation line established under the US-brokered agreement for Israel’s withdrawal, has become a deadly frontier in Gaza, where Israeli forces are forcing residents from entire eastern districts and blocking their return.
Hamas has said previously that the zone has become a deadly frontier in the Palestinian territory.
Palestinians say the line changes without warning, turning areas considered safe one day into deadly zones the next. Dozens have been killed in recent months after inadvertently entering the area.
Two months into the ceasefire agreement, rights groups and ceasefire monitors say the regime’s genocide in Gaza has not stopped. They report more than 500 violations of the ceasefire, with at least 356 Palestinians killed during this period, pushing Gaza’s overall death toll to more than 70,000, including more than 20,000 children.
Independent researchers estimate the real death toll could exceed 100,000, given the thousands of bodies still buried under rubble.PressTV report

Dead, Wounded on Afghanistan-Pakistan Border
A cross-border fire between Afghanistan and Pakistan last night left four people dead and others wounded, according to local Afghan authorities in the Spin Boldak district, as reported by AFP on Saturday.
The Taliban and the Pakistani government traded accusations regarding responsibility for the “unprovoked” attack, a violation of the ceasefire agreement reached between the two countries last October.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated on the X platform, “Unfortunately, this evening (Friday), the Pakistani side initiated an attack on Afghanistan in Kandahar, in the Spin Boldak district (south), forcing the Islamic Emirate forces to respond,” without providing further details.
For his part, Musharraf Zaidi, spokesman for the Pakistani Prime Minister, said in a post on the X platform, “The Afghan Taliban regime resorted to unprovoked firing” along the border, adding, “Our armed forces responded immediately, appropriately, and forcefully.”
According to residents in the area, the clashes began around 10:30 PM (6:00 PM GMT) and lasted for about two hours.
The head of the Kandahar provincial media office, Ali Muhammad Haqmal, accused the Pakistani side of initiating the hostilities, before later announcing their end.
He stated that Pakistan used “light and heavy artillery,” noting that civilian homes were hit by mortar shells. He added, “The clashes have stopped, and both sides have agreed to end them,” without mentioning any casualties.Saba News report

Near-Daily Shelling Continues in Yemen’s Saadah Amid ‘Conspicuous International Silence’
Local sources in Yemen’s Saadah province have reported renewed Saudi shelling, targeting a residential and agricultural area.
According to reports, the Al-Raqu area in the Munabbih border district was struck by heavy and medium machine-gun fire on Saturday morning. The attack is said to have caused panic among residents, particularly women and children.
These sources, including Al-Masirah TV, affirmed that such incidents have become near-daily occurrences, targeting border village populations without justification and in clear violation of international humanitarian law. They further criticize the “conspicuous international silence” regarding these repeated actions.
The border districts of Munabbih, Shada, Razih, and Sahar have endured years of reported artillery, missile, and direct gunfire, resulting in hundreds of casualties and widespread destruction of property and infrastructure.
Earlier on Friday, an African migrant was injured by gunfire from Saudi forces in the Qatabir border district. This incident follows reports from earlier in the week affirming that Saudi artillery and machine-gun fire targeted the Al-Raqu area on Wednesday, and that a Yemeni citizen and another African migrant were injured by Saudi fire on Tuesday.
The northern Yemeni province of Saada, bordering Saudi Arabia, has been a persistent flashpoint throughout the US-Saudi aggression. Despite intermittent truces and ongoing UN-led peace efforts, shelling and airstrikes have continued often resulting in civilian casualties and accusations of violations from the Saudi side.Al Masirah report

US airstrike survivors clung to boat wreckage before second deadly attack, video shows
The US military released footage of what it claims was a strike on an alleged drug-trafficking boat in the eastern Pacific Ocean that left 4 people dead.
https://t.me/presstv/166978FIFA awards its first-ever Peace Prize to US President Donald Trump as he bombs innocent fishermen in the Caribbean.
FIFA awards its first-ever Peace Prize to US President Donald Trump as expected. A video shown to US lawmakers depicts an illegal American military airstrike on two survivors clinging to a boat in the Caribbean Sea.
The footage, which key lawmakers viewed on Thursday, shows the US strike on September 2 that severely damaged the boat. Two shirtless survivors clung to the wreckage for about an hour before a second airstrike killed them and sank the vessel.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, accompanied Admiral Frank Mitch Bradley, who led the operation, to Capitol Hill on Thursday to explain the decision to execute the follow-up strike on the incapacitated survivors.
Caine suggested that the alleged “drug boat” might be afloat due to cocaine packets onboard and expressed concern that the survivors could communicate for rescue or attempt to deliver the drugs back to the US.
However, lawmakers noted that the video showed no evidence of radios or satellite phones, and a surveillance plane did not spot any nearby vessels.
Legal experts, including some lawmakers, have indicated that the killing of 87 individuals in the 22 announced US strikes violates American and international law. Some lawmakers label the killings as murder and a war crime.
“You have two individuals in clear distress without any means of locomotion who were killed by the United States,” said Representative Jim Himes of Connecticut, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.
He called the video “one of the most troubling things I’ve seen in my time in public service.”Senator Jack Reed of Rhode Island, from the Senate Armed Services Committee, stated that the briefing confirmed his worst fears about the military activities of the Trump administration.
Following the briefing, Southern Command announced that US forces had killed another four individuals in their 22nd attack on “drug” boats in recent months.
In a statement and a video shared on social media, Southern Command indicated that the latest airstrike in the Eastern Pacific was directed by War Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The strikes have raised questions among House and Senate Armed Services and Intelligence Committees, military appropriators, and have drawn condemnation from legal experts, rights groups, and Democratic lawmakers.
Some have called for Hegseth’s resignation over the illegal airstrikes.
Trump administration officials have framed the deployment of US forces in and around Venezuela as part of a broader effort to deter drug smuggling. However, Caracas and analysts say the pressure is aimed at toppling the government of President Nicolas Maduro.
In response, a group of bipartisan senators introduced a war powers resolution aimed at blocking President Trump’s unauthorized military actions in Venezuela.
They warned that the administration risks dragging the US into an “unnecessary foreign war.”
The resolution would require the president to withdraw US forces from Venezuela unless explicitly authorized by Congress.
Last week, Trump stated that US military forces near Venezuela would “very soon” take ground action against the country.

zion¿st Occupation Carries out Incursion, Shells Southern Syria
zionist forces advancing towards the village of Saida al-Hanout in the Quneitra countryside, southern Syria.
https://t.me/thecradlemedia/47534zion¿st occupation army carried out on Friday a new ground incursion into a Syrian village in Quneitra countryside amid daily violations of the country’s sovereignty.
Syria’s SANA news agency reported that six Israeli vehicles, including three Humvees, two white Hilux trucks and a black van, advanced toward the village of Saida Al-Hanout in the southern area of Quneitra countryside.
The Israeli occupation army carried out similar move on Thursday, when a three-vehicle Israeli patrol advanced into the towns of Samdaniya Al-Sharqiya and Al-Ajraf in the northern Quneitra countryside.
Israeli forces set up a temporary military checkpoint between the towns near a demolished water tank in the area, according to Syrian media.
Meanwhile on Thursday night, Israeli artillery also fired four shells on the outskirts of Koya town in the western Daraa countryside in southwestern Syria. The Israeli occupation continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement with Syria through expanding its incursions into the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa and by targeting civilians.
Earlier last week (on November 28), Israeli occupation forces attacked the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus suburbs by helicopters and drones after the Syrian regime’s forces entered the town, killing at least 13 Syrians and injuring two dozen others.
Having been engaged in a two-hour fierce exchange of fire, the Israeli soldiers were forced to withdraw from Beit Jinn and reposition on the hill of Butt Al-Warda on the outskirts of the town.
The Zionist entity has conducted repeated acts of aggression across the Syrian territory following the collapse of former president Bashar Al-Assad’s government last year. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered his forces to push deeper into Syrian territory and seize several strategic locations.
Instead of resistance to the ongoing Israeli military operations, the HTS-led regime’s lack of action and its normalization overtures to Tel Aviv appear to have given the Zionist entity greater leeway to expand its occupation and increase the intensity of its airstrikes.
Foreign-backed militants, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) — a group that was previously affiliated with the al-Qaeda terrorist group — took control of Damascus and declared an end to Assad’s rule last December.
