Al-Manar correspondent indicated that a zion¿st drone targeted a car in Jowayya town, leaving one martyr.

A Lebanese citizen was injured after a z¿onist drone targeted a car in the outskirts of Safad Al-Batikh town, and another martyr was reported.

zionist enemy drone targeted a motorcycle in Yater town, South Lebanon, according to Al-Manar reporter.

Al-Manar’s correspondent reported that an zionist glider targeted two excavators with three bombs in the Al-Wastani neighborhood of the town of Shebaa.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army issued a statement which read, “On 13/12/2025, within the framework of coordination between the military institution, the Supervisory Committee for the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (Mechanism), and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the Army conducted a thorough inspection of a building in the town of Yanouh, with the consent of its owner. It was confirmed that no weapons or ammunition were present inside the building.”

“After the Army departed the site, and in the context of ongoing “Israeli” aggressions, a threat was received to strike the same house. An Army patrol immediately arrived and re-inspected the building, once again finding no weapons or ammunition. The patrol remained deployed in the vicinity of the house to prevent it from being targeted.”

“The Army Command highly values the trust of the residents in the military institution, their support for it, and their cooperation during the performance of its national duty. It also expresses its deep gratitude to the Supervisory Committee for the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement, which carried out the necessary communications in coordination with the Army Command and played a fundamental role in halting the execution of the threat.”

“The Command salutes the tremendous efforts and sacrifices made by the servicemen in confronting exceptionally difficult and sensitive circumstances, in order to safeguard their people and defend them. This led to the cancellation of the threat at the present time, while Army personnel remain deployed around the house as of this moment.”

“This incident proves more than ever that the only way to preserve stability is through unifying efforts and comprehensive national solidarity with the Army, and adherence to Resolution 1701 and the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement, in coordination with the (Mechanism) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon – UNIFIL, during a difficult phase that requires the highest levels of awareness and responsibility.”

In the same context, the Bastra Farm in the outskirts of Kfarshouba was subjected to machine gun fire from the enemy position in Ramtha Hill.

Al-Manar’s correspondent also reported that an enemy artillery shell landed on the Shanouh farm in the outskirts of Halta in the Arqoub region, coinciding with Zionist artillery shelling targeting the town’s surroundings, in yet another violation of Lebanese sovereignty.

  • Two US Soldiers, Interpreter Killed in Surprise Militant Attack in Syria’s Palmyra: CENTCOM

US fighter jets spotted flying at low altitudes above Palmyra, central Syria, following today’s attack that killed 3 Americans.
    https://t.me/presstv/168007

Two American troops and an interpreter have been killed and three other people wounded in Syria’s central province of Homs, after a suspected member of the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group opened fire on a joint patrol by the US military and forces from the ruling Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) regime in the area.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the casualties in a post on the social media platform X on Saturday.

“An ambush by a lone ISIS (Daesh) gunman” resulted in the deaths and injuries to three additional troops, CENTCOM said. “The gunman was engaged and killed.”

US War Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote on X that “the savage who perpetrated this attack was killed by partner forces.”

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said the attack occurred as the soldiers “were conducting a key leader engagement” in support of what he described as counter-terrorism operations.

A Pentagon official said the attack took place in an area where HTS forces do not have control.

Earlier, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that an attack in the city of Palmyra had wounded American troops and HTS forces.

The soldiers were taking part in a “joint field tour” in Palmyra, which was once under the control of Daesh, SANA reported.

A Syrian source, who requested anonymity, said that the shots were fired “during a meeting” between American officers and HTS forces at a Syrian base in Palmyra.

A witness, who asked to remain anonymous, said he heard the shots coming from inside the base.

SANA said helicopters evacuated the wounded to the al-Tanf garrison near the border with Iraq and Jordan, where American troops are deployed.

According to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the meeting came as part of an “American strategy to strengthen its presence and foothold in the Syrian desert.”

Former Syrian authorities consistently said that the deployment of US forces and equipment in the northeastern flank of the country was meant to plunder natural resources.

In recent years, footage has emerged showing US occupation forces using tankers to transfer Syrian crude oil from the country’s northern provinces to bases in northern Iraq.

US President Donald Trump has acknowledged multiple times that American troops were present in the Arab nation for its oil resources.

  • Despite Being Previously Inspected by UNIFIL, z¿onist Enemy Threatens to Strike House in South Lebanon

The z¿onist enemy threatened on Saturday to strike a house in the southern Lebanese town of Yanouh, Tyre District, near a UNIFIL barracks, after claiming suspicion of weapons presence.

According to Al-Manar’s correspondent in south Lebanon, the house had already been inspected earlier by the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL following a request submitted through the Mechanism committee, and the inspection confirmed that it was free of weapons in line with approved procedures.

After the inspection, the zionist enemy, again through the Mechanism committee, requested that the house be searched a second time, coinciding with the presence of a hostile zionist drone over the area.
The renewed request sparked anger among local residents, who rejected the re-inspection, denouncing what they described as a humiliating zionist approach aimed at turning the Lebanese Army into an executive tool for enemy demands.

Despite the Israeli threat and the so-called “evacuation order,” the Lebanese Army deployed in the vicinity of the house and entered it without a UNIFIL escort after UNIFIL forces withdrew from the area. An army unit remained positioned around the site until the morning to protect the house from any potential zionist attack. Reports suggesting a new request to reinspect the house were later denied as inaccurate.

The video below, circulated on social media, shows the Lebanese Army patrol heading for the threatened house in Yanouh. The zionist enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day zionist war between September and November 2024.

  • Hezbollah MP Hits Back at LF Minister: Diplomatic Efforts Don’t Mean Justifying zion¿st Attacks

Local sources in Lebanon report that a Lebanese army and UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) patrol searched an uninhabited house in Yanouh, southern Lebanon, at the request of the “mechanism committee.”

The house was alleged to have weapons, and none were found. As the patrol was preparing to leave, a zionist drone hovered over the site, and UNIFIL received a request to conduct a second search of the house.

This angered the owner, who, along with others, attempted to forcibly push the UNIFIL soldiers away.

Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance bloc at the Lebanese Parliament MP Hussein Al-Hajj Hasan responded to Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji, who represents the Lebanese Forces (LF) in the Lebanese Government, stressing that diplomatic efforts don’t mean justifying the zionist enemy attacks.

In remarks to Lebanese media, MP Al-Hajj Hasan hit back at Rajji, who warned of earlier on Friday against a “large-scale military operation” against Lebanon, calling on the LF minister to activate his diplomatic efforts away from justifying the Israeli enemy strikes.

“As for the diplomatic efforts that His Excellency the Minister speaks of to avoid the strike, the least that can be expected is that he does not adopt the US-Israeli narrative in justifying the Israeli attacks,” the Hezbollah lawmaker stated.

He called on Rajji to activate the Lebanese diplomatic missions to explain to the world that Lebanon has adhered to the November 2024 ceasefire, unlike the zionist enemy which violated the ceasefire deal and is still launching daily attacks on Lebanon.

Meanwhile, MP Al-Hajj Hasan slammed the LF minister over his remarks regarding protecting the Lebanese official institutions from the zionist attacks.

“One particularly notable point in the minister’s statement is his call to protect the official institutions, as if he were justifying Israeli attacks on other Lebanese citizens. In my opinion, this is completely wrong. We are in favor of protecting all of Lebanon from zionist aggression, not protecting only a segment of the Lebanese population while tolerating Israeli aggression.”

“Today, by the way, there was an Israeli aggression on the South, and His Excellency the Minister was making statements. He could have mentioned in his statements that today there was an zionist strikes on a number of villages in south Lebanon. Apparently, he was unaware of it; his office did not inform him that there was an Israeli aggression today.”

Meanwhile, MP Al-Hajj Hasan recognized Rajji of achievements made by Hezbollah resistance in 2000, 2006 and against Takfiri terrorists in 2017.

“The Minister did not liberate the South; rather, it was the resistance’s weapons that liberated the South in 2000, at a time when the Minister and his party were on a different path. This achievement cannot be attributed to the Minister or his party, nor can the heroic confrontation in 33-day war in 2006, nor the Second Liberation in 2017, where the Minister and his party were supporting and siding with the Takfiris.”

President Aoun told the delegation that the return of Lebanese detainees held in zionist prisons “is a priority in the negotiations,” according to a statement posted on Lebanese Presidency’s account on X platform.

The president is doing lip-service only. Auon is not particularly keen on assisting in repatriating Shia fighters.
  • Fourteen Palestinians, Including Children, Die in Gaza Amid Freezing Temperatures

At least 14 Palestinians have lost their lives, and several have been injured in less than 24 hours as a winter storm and severe cold are sweeping across the Gaza Strip, causing multiple collapses of buildings and structures in several regions.

Civil defense and ambulance services reported that six people died overnight into Friday when a house sheltering a family in the Bir al-Naaja area in northern Gaza collapsed during the storm.

Two more people died after a wall gave way and fell onto tents in the al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City in the afternoon, while another person died after a structural collapse in Shati refugee camp.

A newborn in al-Mawasi in southern Gaza also succumbed to the freezing temperatures.

Meanwhile, two children died in Gaza City due to the extreme cold, while another child died a day earlier in Khan Younis under similar conditions.

In addition, one resident died after a residential building collapsed, with rescue teams still searching for missing individuals beneath the debris.

Civil defense crews reported that around 15 houses have collapsed across the Gaza Strip so far, including recent incidents in the al-Karama and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods in Gaza City.

Teams continue to address the aftermath of the collapses and search for survivors under challenging weather conditions.

Medical personnel in Gaza are reporting an alarming increase in fatalities associated with exposure.

A source from al-Shifa Hospital said nine-year-old Hadeel al-Masri passed away in a shelter located west of Gaza City, while infant Taim al-Khawaja lost his life in the Shati camp.

In Khan Younis, eight-month-old Rahaf Abu Jazar died when rainwater flooded her family’s tent.

Dr. Rik Peeperkorn, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) representative in the occupied Palestinian territory, reported that 18 out of 36 hospitals and 43 percent of primary healthcare centers in Gaza were operating at reduced capacity.

Despite facing immense challenges, Shifa Hospital in Gaza City has resumed operations as a partially functioning tertiary care facility, with several services now back in operation.

“On the other hand, there was no MRI available in Gaza and only two CT scanners to cover a population of over two million,” Peeperkorn said.

He continued, “There was also a severe shortage of essential medicines and medical supplies needed for, among other things, heart disease treatment, kidney transplantation and hemodialysis, and intensive care surgery. Although approval rates for supplies had improved, the process of getting medicines and medical equipment into Gaza remained unnecessarily slow and complex.”

Peeperkorn raised concerns that during the winter months, combined with inadequate shelter conditions, children under the age of five would be especially vulnerable to acute respiratory infections like pneumonia, as well as diarrheal illnesses.

He highlighted the critical shortages of medicines, surgical equipment, and medical imaging tools.

Peeperkorn emphasized that over a quarter of the 70,000 injured Gazans would require lifelong assistive devices. Additionally, he noted that, according to UNICEF, 82 children had lost their lives since October 10.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate Friday showing the many powerful figures in the late sex trafficker’s orbit, including President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Steve Bannon, Bill Gates, Richard Branson and others.

Many of the men have been previously linked to Epstein, though the photos may shed new light on the extent of those relationships.

Taken collectively, the images – which the Democrats on the committee said came from Epstein’s estate – reinforce the financier was tied in the past to a wide variety of powerful and high-profile people whose ties to him are now under significant scrutiny.

One released image shows Trump with six women with leis whose faces were redacted by committee members, while another depicts what appears to be a bowl of novelty condoms with a caricature of Trump’s face with the text, “I’m HUUUUGE!” The condoms – shown in a bowl with a “Trump condom $4.50” sign – were produced by a novelty shop in New York City named Fishs Eddy. The item is described as a “political satire condom” in the National Museum of American History’s online collection.

Other released images depict Steve Bannon and Epstein taking a photograph in a mirror; Bill Clinton with Epstein, Maxwell and another couple; and tech billionaire Bill Gates with the former Prince Andrew. Former Harvard President Larry Summers and lawyer Alan Dershowitz also appeared in pictures from the estate.

After Democrats initially made public 19 images, they later Friday released 70 additional pictures. While many show different angles of previously released images from Epstein’s private island – including a room with an apparent dentist’s chair and masks on the walls, others depicted Epstein himself.

One showed the late convicted sex offender appearing in a bathtub with bubbles, and another a close-up photograph of his face. Yet another depicted a man who appeared to be Epstein holding James Patterson’s book “Filthy Rich” in front of his face.

Released as part of the day’s second batch, were photographs of a carved pumpkin with a wig and a poster board that read “Trumpkin: Make Halloween Great Again,” and a close-up of a “GX-99 Message Therapy System.”None of the released images depict any sexual misconduct nor are believed to depict underage girls. It was not immediately clear when or where they were taken, or by whom.

In a statement, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said House Democrats were “selectively releasing cherry-picked photos with random redactions to try and create a false narrative.”

She pointed to Democrats who have previously been tied to Epstein through document dumps, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Democratic Del. Stacey Plaskett. Plaskett exchanged texts with Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing. A Democratic consulting group asked Epstein if he wanted to participate in a fundraising dinner with Jeffries in March 2013; Jeffries has said he has no recollection of the message.

  • US issues new sanctions targeting Venezuela oil sector and Maduro’s family

The Trump administration is seeking the legal authority to seize the oil from the tanker that US forces boarded.

US Forces seized a Venezuelan tanker off the coast of Venezuela this week.

The United States has issued new sanctions on Venezuela’s oil sector and on members of president Nicolás Maduro’s family, while taking steps to keep tens of millions of dollars’ worth of oil from a large tanker that US forces seized off the country’s coast.

Venezuela’s economy depends on oil and has been hurt by US sanctions, leading Mr Maduro’s government to smuggle and sell crude through a web of tankers and middlemen. The new sanctions target three nephews of Mr Maduro’s wife and six shipping companies.

“There is a legal process for the seizure of that oil, and that legal process will be followed,” Ms Leavitt told reporters at the White House on Thursday.

And he reiterated past warnings about a greater escalation.

“It’s going to be starting on land pretty soon,” he said of strikes in Venezuela.

The US government’s actions this week most likely will reduce the number of tankers that are willing to load oil in Venezuela, further isolating a country that depends heavily on the revenue it receives from exporting the fossil fuel. But there was little immediate effect on oil prices, which remained around $58 (€49) a barrel in the United States. The market is unfazed because Venezuela produces little oil, less than 1 per cent of what the world uses.

New details emerged Thursday about the seized oil tanker, including about its crew, which is mainly from Russia, according to a US official, who was not authorised to speak publicly. US authorities have asked the crew to sail the Skipper to the United States, but they have another crew on standby if needed, the official said.

The tanker has a capacity of two million barrels. It was loaded nearly full at a Venezuelan port about a month ago, according to data collected by Kpler, a company that monitors global oil shipping. The value of the oil carried by the Skipper amounted to roughly $78 million, said Francisco Rodríguez, an economist at the University of Denver.

The ship may have recently tried to hide its location and disguise its activities, according to a New York Times analysis of satellite imagery and photographs, reflecting the shadowy world of smuggling in which it is said to operate.

Despite the legal basis for the seizure relating to Iran, US officials have made clear that their actions were designed to pressure Venezuela and that they could seize more tankers carrying Venezuelan oil in the future.

Among the moves by the Trump administration to squeeze Venezuela are the sanctions announced Thursday.

Two of the Maduro nephews who were put under sanctions were arrested in Haiti in 2015 as they were finalising a deal to transport a shipment of cocaine to the United States. The men, whom the treasury department referred to as “narco-nephews,” were convicted in 2016 on drug trafficking charges but were granted clemency in 2022 by former president Joe Biden and returned to Venezuela, where, according to the treasury department, they continued trafficking drugs.

The sanctions also hit Venezuela’s economy by blacklisting six shipping companies – Myra Marine Ltd Arctic Voyager Inc, Poweroy Investment Ltd, Ready Great Ltd, Sino Marine Services Ltd and Full Happy Ltd – that have vessels transporting Venezuelan oil.

The targeted ships were “blocked” by the Treasury Department, impeding them from doing international business, although it was not clear if the US planned to seize them.

  • The Times Affirms Covert Ties Between Yemen’s UAE-Backed STC and z¿onist

A report by The Times of London has affirmed a deepening, covert relationship between zion¿st enemy and factions within the Saudi-Emirati led coalition in Yemen, specifically naming the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

According to the report, the STC has sent delegations to meet with z¿onist officials, united by a “common cause” against Sana’a. The report suggests these contacts move beyond indirect signals into tangible political coordination.
A significant claim within the report is that the STC hopes to gain support from figures like US President Donald Trump to expand normalization with z¿onist in exchange for recognition upon any future independence of southern Yemen. This, if accurate, would position the STC’s separatist project within a broader framework of US-brokered Arab-Israeli normalization efforts.

Analysts cited in the accompanying commentary suggest that any future military or political escalation by coalition-backed factions should be viewed not merely as a local or Gulf-driven initiative, but as part of a proxy strategy ultimately serving zionist security interests. They argue zionist views a strong presence for the Yemeni Armed Forces, with its demonstrated capability to threaten Red Sea shipping, as a direct threat, and may seek local allies to counter it.

The reports would represent a significant geopolitical shift, indicating that the Yemen conflict is increasingly intertwined with the regional standoff between zionist and the “Axis of Resistance.” It would also highlight how local Yemeni factions might leverage international alliances, including with Israel, to advance their domestic political goals.

The Southern Transitional Council (STC), a key faction in southern Yemen backed by the United Arab Emirates, seeks the secession of South Yemen.

Tensions have escalated in Yemen’s eastern provinces as UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces expand control over key areas in Hadhramaut and Mahrah. Analysts view these movements as part of a broader geopolitical struggle involving regional and international powers seeking influence over Yemen’s strategic coasts, ports, and energy corridors.

zion¿st enemy stepped up its aggression on Lebanon on Friday, launching a series of strikes that hit several targets across south Lebanon and West Bekaa, in violation of the ceasefire which ended the brutal Israeli 66-day war on the country in late 2024.

Al-Manar correspondent reported zionist strikes on Al-Rihan Heights and Iqlim Al-Tuffah in south Lebanon.

The strikes hit Al-Jarmaq, Al-Rihan, Jbaa, Ansar, Bureij, Tebna, Zrairieh and the valley between Houmine and Roumine, according to our correspondent.

  • UK urged to release Gaza surveillance flight footage from Cyprus

A former Royal Air Force technician has called on the UK government to publish footage from surveillance flights launched from its Akrotiri base in Cyprus over Gaza, citing intelligence sharing with Israel.

Steve Masters, who served 19 years in the RAF, told Declassified UK that withholding the footage fuels suspicion Britain is “materially aiding a genocide.”

He said the UK has admitted to sharing intelligence from the flights in real time, according to his account, and warned such data could be used for broader military targeting beyond hostage-related matters.

The claims have drawn criticism in parliament. Labour MP Brian Leishman called the situation “scandalous,” accusing London of training Israeli soldiers while hiding Akrotiri’s role behind national security. Similar concerns were previously raised by former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who questioned how intelligence gathered over Gaza is being used.

British officials have denied the Cyprus bases were involved in US strikes on Iran, while confirming past deployments from the island in support of Israel, citing the UK’s “unwavering commitment” to its security.
