Amid rising tensions along the demarcation line in the zion¿st-occupied Golan Heights, zion¿st forces carried out ground incursions into Syria’s southwestern Quneitra province, establishing temporary checkpoints in a fresh violation of Syrian sovereignty.

The public al-Ikhbariyah Syria television news channel reported that zionist troops, on board five military vehicles, raided the village of Ain Ziwan on Saturday, and set up a checkpoint in the area.

zionist forces also stormed the village of al-Ajraf in central Quneitra countryside with four military vehicles and established a checkpoint to search passersby.

The incursions followed a protest in al-Salam, where dozens of Syrians condemned ongoing Israeli attacks on residents and property, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

Also on Friday, zionist army forces launched four new ground invasions in the countryside of Quneitra.

A three-vehicle patrol rolled into the town of Bir Ajam and moved toward the village of Briqa, SANA said.

Two Humvee vehicles and two Toyota Hilux pickups also stormed al-Asha village and advanced toward al-Rafid town.

A third Israeli raid was staged in the village of Umm al-Azam, with forces setting up a temporary checkpoint at the intersection of al-Mushairfa and Ruweihina villages.

Israeli forces also raided the village of Ruweihina and moved toward the nearby dam.

An investigation has uncovered how online crowdfunding campaigns featuring gravely ill children are exploiting desperate families and misleading donors worldwide. The inquiry began with an emotional video ad and led reporters to dozens of similar campaigns that claimed to be raising money for life saving treatment. One case involved Khalil, a seven year old boy from the Philippines who did have cancer but was filmed in a staged video that portrayed a fabricated scenario designed to elicit donations. His mother said the family was instructed to shave his head, follow a script in English, and make him cry on camera, all on the promise that the footage would help fund better medical care.

The investigation found that while these campaigns appeared to raise large sums of money, the families involved often received little or none of it. Khalil’s campaign alone showed more than $27,000 raised, yet his mother says she was told it had failed and was paid only a small filming fee. Khalil later died, and his family never received the donations raised in his name. Across multiple countries, the BBC identified 15 families with similar stories, including nine who say they received nothing at all from campaigns that together appeared to collect around $4 million.

A whistleblower from within the network said children were selected based on their appearance, with a preference for very young, bald children who would generate sympathy.

The investigation traced many of the most prominent campaigns to an organization called Chance Letikva, registered in Israel and the US, with links to another group called Walls of Hope. Through document searches and interviews, the BBC identified a key figure as Erez Hadari, an Israeli man living in Canada, who families say was directly involved in filming the videos. The BBC was able to verify that donations increased in real time and that some donors were repeatedly solicited for more money.

Convicted sex offender Jew Jeffrey Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell maintained connections with the Clintons and their senior aides well after the 2008 presidential election, raising questions about the Clintons’ claim that their friendship ended in 2005, a recent report says.

Epstein’s association with Bill Clinton first became public in 2002, when Epstein hosted the former president on his private Boeing 727 during a tour of Africa, Drop Site news reported on Saturday.

Clinton has acknowledged taking these flights but has claimed he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal activities and that he ended contact in 2005.

However, recently surfaced emails suggest that Epstein and Maxwell continued interacting with Clinton Foundation staff and senior aides until at least 2008, the report reveals.

Maxwell, convicted in 2021 for sex trafficking-related offenses connected to Epstein’s operations, emerges in the correspondence as a central intermediary.

Messages from 2005 to 2007 show Maxwell coordinating meetings with Clinton-linked figures, arranging favors on Epstein’s behalf, and maintaining a social presence near the former president during overseas trips.

One email details Maxwell arranging the purchase of a $35,000 Audemars Piguet watch for Doug Band, a senior Clinton aide involved in the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).

Epstein instructed Maxwell to ensure the gift was delivered for Christmas 2005 and presented as coming from both of them.

Other messages indicate Epstein encouraged Maxwell to offer Band free private jet travel through “Air Ghislaine, Inc.”

Maxwell’s influence extended to recommendations as well; she was asked to provide endorsements for Clinton-linked internships, with one requester noting her support would “speak loudly.”

The emails also place Maxwell in close proximity to Bill Clinton during an international travel in late 2006.

On November 30, 2006, she wrote to Epstein that she had “met up with [Bill] Clinton” in Mumbai alongside longtime Clinton associates.

The next day, she referenced visiting a “tsunami village.” Public records confirm Clinton visited Thazhanguda village in Tamil Nadu on December 1, 2006, for the Clinton Foundation and United Nations-related activities.

Financial connections persisted as well. Epstein donated $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation in 2006, and foundation staff reached out to Epstein’s legal team that year to arrange meetings related to students he supported.

In a May 26, 2007 email, four months before Epstein entered a controversial plea deal in Florida, he warned Maxwell that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign would bring renewed scrutiny of her “friends.”

As Hillary Clinton prepared her first run for the White House, Epstein privately worried that renewed attention on the Clintons could expose his ties to their political and philanthropic network.

He advised Maxwell that she was “better off” avoiding public association, signaling concern that political exposure could bring unwanted attention.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) subpoenaed Bill and Hillary Clinton in August 2025 as part of the panel’s investigation into Epstein, seeking testimony and documents related to Epstein and Maxwell.

The subpoenas initially scheduled depositions for October 2025. When the Clintons did not appear, Comer threatened contempt proceedings and later offered new deposition dates in January 2026, January 13 for Bill Clinton and January 14 for Hillary, warning that failure to comply could trigger contempt charges.

Epstein was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges in July 2019 and held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.

He reportedly committed suicide by hanging in August 2019, despite earlier reports that he had been under suicide watch following a possible attempt in July.

zion¿st shelling struck a school in Gaza City on Friday, killing at least seven Palestinians as the occupation regime continues to violate a fragile ceasefire. 

The strike hit a school near Mohammad al-Durra Hospital, east of the al-Tuffah neighborhood, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses. The facility was sheltering displaced families.

According to Quds News Network, at least seven people were killed and several others wounded, including children.

Some bodies were recovered in pieces, eyewitnesses said.

Local sources reported that the attack later expanded to a training building belonging to the Directorate of Education, located opposite al-Durra Hospital.

Israeli artillery continued to shell areas around al-Durra Hospital and al-Shuhada School, witnesses said.

Smoke shells and heavy machine gun fire were also reported. Several Palestinians were injured as the shelling targeted eastern parts of al-Tuffah.

Medical staff at al-Ahli Baptist Hospital said they received multiple casualties from Israeli shelling that struck a building housing displaced families in the same area.

Despite the ceasefire, Palestinian health authorities say zionist attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Health Ministry said earlier on Friday that 395 Palestinians have been killed and 1,088 injured since the ceasefire began on October 10. It added that 634 bodies were recovered during the same period.

The ministry said the overall death toll in Gaza since October 2023 has risen to 70,669, with at least 171,165 people injured.

Intense fighting has erupted in Syria’s southern province of Sweida between members of a Druze group and armed elements affiliated with Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies, leaving several individuals wounded, report say.

The clashes broke out between so-called Druze National Guard forces led by Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri, a Druze religious leader, and HTS forces affiliated with former al-Qaeda commander and the Arab country’s de facto president Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, al-Marsad news website reported.

The report, citing local sources in Sweida, added that several people from both sides sustained injuries during the fighting.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed fierce confrontations between Druze and Jolani’s forces across Sweida province, with Syrian sources reporting that the clashes erupted in the early hours of Thursday, with both sides using heavy weapons and mortars.

The most intense fighting was reported in towns of al-Majdal and al-Mazra’a in the western parts of Sweida.

The clashes reportedly began after Jolani’s forces and their allies carried out drone attacks, triggering heavy fighting in the area.

Additional heavy fighting was reported in the town of Tal Hadid in the Sweida countryside and the village of al-Mansoura in the al-Naql area northwest of the city of Sweida.

Sources also reported extensive military movements by both sides and efforts to reinforce their positions.

Tensions in southern Syria have been escalating since July 13, when clashes broke out between Druze fighters and armed Bedouin tribes over land and resources in the province.The violence worsened significantly after the HTS military was deployed to the province on July 14 and entered Sweida city itself on July 15, according to residents, two war monitors and reporters on the ground.

Claiming to support the Druze, the Israeli regime carried out airstrikes on July 16 targeting key strategic sites in Damascus, including the Syrian army headquarters, and hours later HTS announced the complete withdrawal of its forces from Sweida under a ceasefire agreement.

Sweida experienced some of the deadliest violence, with a week of bloody clashes starting on July 13 leaving an estimated 814 to 1,653 people dead, most of them Druze.

Lebanese Parliament held a general legislative session chaired by Speaker Nabih Berri to continue reviewing draft laws and proposals that were on the agenda for the session of September 29, 2025.

Parliament approved a draft law for a $250 million loan agreement with the World Bank for the reconstruction of infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

It also approved the law regulating the judiciary, taking into account the observations made by the President Joseph Aoun.

The Parliament convened despite calls to boycott the session by the Lebanese Forces over Speaker Berri’s refusal to timetable discussion on a contentious election law.

Sixty-seven MPs attended the session, just above the threshold required to proceed.

The Lebanese Forces and the Kataeb party abstained in protest among a handful of others.

Lebanese political powers are in disagreement over the diaspora vote, which is part of the electoral law. There have been calls to amend the electoral law in a bid to allow Lebanese abroad to vote for all 128 parliamentary seats (current law allows expatriates to vote for seven seats).

Amal Movement and Hezbollah, among other parties oppose amending the diaspora vote, stressing that such move contradicts with the principle of equal opportunities, especially that Hezbollah resistance party is banned and does not enjoy the campaigning freedom that the other parties have abroad, especially in Western countries.
