• Breaking the Food Siege: Wheat and Maize Achieve Qualitative Leaps Toward Self-Sufficiency

The agricultural transformation witnessed between 2020 and 2025 represents a pivotal phase in the country’s modern economic history. During this period, development policy shifted away from structural dependence on global wheat stockpiles—used as a weapon of submission—toward the adoption of a food sovereignty strategy as a practical embodiment of the principle of “the perfection of faith,” liberation from the dominance of arrogant powers, the construction of a sovereign front of resilience, and a corrective course to confront the humiliating dependency imposed on the country for decades.

This orientation, which forges an intrinsic link between a grain of wheat and the dignity of national stance, has created an urgent necessity to exploit vast tracts of land long left idle as a result of systematic destructive policies, and to launch an “unprecedented” agricultural season that positions wheat as the backbone of the national economy.

Within this context, the following report analyzes the numerical and field transformations in the grain sector—particularly wheat and maize—exposing the falsity of the manufactured obstacles imposed by Zionist-American policies to starve the Yemeni people. It highlights the existing gap and the revolutionary mechanisms adopted to narrow it, within a comprehensive vision aimed at transforming cities and valleys into major agricultural workshops that end an era of negligence and lay the foundations for an age of self-sufficiency.

  • ‘Trump witnessed killing, disposal of Epstein victim’s infant,’ released files show

The recently-released tranche of additional documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein include remarks by a woman identifying as one of the victims of the late disgraced financier and convicted sex trafficker, in which she refers to Donald Trump as a witness to the killing and disposal of the body of her infant.

The US Department of Justice released the documents numbering tens of thousands, which include FBI tips and complaints implicating Trump, on Wednesday.

Reports emerging on Friday across various outlets, including the UK edition of American online newspaper The International Business Times, pointed to inclusion in the documents of an FBI intake form dated March 3, 2020 recording a complaint from the unnamed woman.

The complainant said she had been trafficked at age 13 in the early 1980s and described an incident in 1984 involving the killing of her newborn child aboard a yacht in Mona Lake, Michigan.

According to the document, the woman said her uncle had carried out the killing and disposed of the body in the water.

The filing lists Trump as a witness to the incident.

The latest tranche of documents was made public under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a bipartisan law that requires the release of all unclassified federal records related to Epstein.

The DOJ has acknowledged missing a congressionally mandated December 19 deadline and said the disclosures would continue in stages, citing alleged legal review requirements and victim protections.

Other documents in the latest release reference Trump’s past social interactions with Epstein.

A January 2020 email from an unidentified prosecutor stated that flight records showed Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet multiple times in the 1990s, including on flights where Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell was also present. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year federal prison sentence for sex trafficking-related offenses.

Epstein was arrested in 2019 on federal sex-trafficking charges and was later found dead in his Manhattan jail cell; his death was ruled a “suicide.” The newly-released files also include photographs, emails, court filings, and tips referencing numerous high-profile figures, many of whom have denied any involvement in Epstein’s crimes.

The staggered release has drawn criticism from lawmakers and victims’ advocates, who argue the DOJ has been slow and inconsistent in complying with the transparency law. A bipartisan group of lawmakers has threatened further action if deadlines continue to be missed, while Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has denounced the department for mishandling the disclosures.

  • z¿onist occupation forces invade Syrian village and abduct 5

zionist occupation forces detain five Syrians near occupied Golan Heights.

z¿onist occupation forces have invaded the Syrian village of Taranga, advancing toward the outskirts of Jabatha al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra, Syrian state media reported.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), a unit consisting of six zionist military vehicles entered the area from the direction of Tulul al-Humr on Saturday.

The convoy reportedly passed through the zone between Beit Jann and Hadar before reaching Taranga and continuing toward Jubata al-Khashab.

The vehicles were observed on the southern edge of Jubatha al-Khashab and on elevated terrain overlooking the town.

The incursion coincided with the presence of an unmanned aerial vehicle flying over the area. The force later moved toward the village of Ufania in the northern countryside of the province, the agency added.

The development followed a separate incident a day earlier, when Israeli occupation forces shelled the eastern Tel al-Ahmar area in southern Quneitra. According to local media, three rounds were fired, accompanied by machine-gun and medium-weapons fire.

On Wednesday, Israeli minister of military affairs, Israel Katz, pledged to continue military assaults across the region.

Israel “will continue its operations in Lebanon, Syria, the Gaza Strip and Yemen,” Hebrew-language daily newspaper Maariv quoted Katz as saying during a training course for Israeli Air Force pilots.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir were also in attendance.

“In Lebanon, we will continue to apply maximum force against Hezbollah; in Syria, Israel will not withdraw from Mount Hermon (Jabal al-Sheikh) and the [so-called] security zone; and in the Gaza Strip, Israel remains committed to dismantling Hamas and disarming the territory,” he added.

Israel has repeatedly conducted acts of aggression across Syrian territory since the collapse of former President Bashar al-Assad’s government late last year.

Netanyahu has instructed his forces to advance further into Syrian territory to capture multiple critical strategic positions in the area.

Israel has extended its occupation in Syria by taking over the buffer zone that divides the occupied Golan Heights from the rest of the country, effectively violating the 1974 disengagement agreement.

Analysts warn that the inaction of Syria’s ruling Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), coupled with its moves toward normalizing ties with Tel Aviv, has emboldened Israel to expand its territorial presence in Syria and escalate airstrikes in the region.

Despite HTS’s pledges of cooperation with Tel Aviv, Israel has remained unwilling to withdraw from Syria.

zionist occupation forces detained five Syrian men from Deraa on Sunday while they were gathering wild mushrooms in agricultural fields near the village of Kudna, in southern Quneitra, close to the occupied Golan Heights.

Local sources told North Press that soldiers apprehended the men in the fields, destroyed their motorcycles, and forced them into military vehicles before transporting them toward the Golan, without providing any explanation for the arrests.

State-run Al-Ikhbariya TV confirmed the detainees were from Deraa and were seized while searching for mushrooms.

The incident comes amid intensified Israeli military activity in southern Syria, particularly in Quneitra, where near-daily incursions have included arrests, checkpoints, and the destruction of forested areas, fueling local anger.

Earlier Sunday, the Israeli army said Reserve Brigade 55 had concluded nearly three months of “operations” in the region, even as such actions continue to be reported.

  • Syrian Alevis begin mass protests against government violence and are violently responded to by HTS terrorists

Syria’s Alevi citizens took to the streets on 28 December to protest against government violence and sectarian persecution, in line with a call made by the community’s religious leader a day earlier.

The protesters also expressed anger over the killing of eight  civilians and the injury of over a dozen others in a terror blast at a mosque a few days earlier. According to local media reports, government forces have attacked protesters in several areas, firing live ammunition to disperse crowds and making arrests at random.

“A widespread arrest campaign by the General Security forces is targeting citizens at random, and commercial shops in the Wadi al-Zahab neighborhood have been closed,” said a correspondent for Sham TV.

A correspondent for Kurdish outlet Hawar News Agency (ANHA) said “women were physically assaulted in the Zahraa neighborhood of Homs, to prevent them from participating.”

“Government forces attempted to forcibly disperse the gathering and imposed a siege on the area, preventing protesters from entering or leaving the square. Several surrounding roads were also blocked. They also assaulted protesters with beatings and gunfire in the coastal cities of Jableh and Baniyas,” the outlet said. There are also reports of casualties among demonstrators. According to the Syrian Justice Archive (SJA), at least three have been killed.

  • Iran Says z¿onist colony’s Recognition of Somaliland Aims to Destabilize Red Sea, Horn of Africa

Iran has strongly condemned the zion¿st entity’s blatant violation of Somalia’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty by recognizing the self-declared Republic of Somaliland as a sovereign state.

The office of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that Tel Aviv formally recognized Somaliland as an “independent and sovereign state” and signed an agreement on building ties between the two entities.

In a statement on Saturday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said Israel grossly violated Somalia’s territory and integrity through efforts to advance the plot to disintegrate the Muslim country.

He added that the zionist move is a clear violation of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.

The Iranian spokesperson stated that Israel’s “malicious” act is part of its broader policy of destabilizing regional states and intensifying insecurity in both the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.

Baghaei reiterated Iran’s principled stance on the necessity of respecting Somalia’s national sovereignty, coherence, and territorial integrity.

He said Iran supports the firm stance of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the African Union in condemnation of Israel’s recognition.

The OIC General Secretariat on Friday expressed its strong condemnation and categorical rejection of Israel’s move, considering it a violation of the sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia, its national unity, and its territorial integrity.

The African Union also said on Friday it “firmly rejects” Israel’s move, warning, “Any attempt to undermine the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Somalia…risks setting a dangerous precedent with far-reaching implications for peace and stability across the continent.”

Baghaei urged the international community to take decisive action to counter the “expansionist and threatening” action of the occupying Israeli regime.

Somaliland, which is a breakaway from Somalia, has been a target considered for the forced relocation of Palestinians by the Zionist regime. It has maintained self-rule since the 1991 civil war, but has yet to win international recognition.

Somaliland is located along the Gulf of Aden and is home to the deep-water strategic port of Berbera.

The Israeli regime reportedly plans to build a military base in Somaliland, which would enable it to gain control over the Gulf of Aden, where it can launch attacks on the Ansarullah-led government in Yemen.

  • One Civilian Killed, Two Others Injured by Saudi Fire in Sa’adah

A Yemeni civilian was killed and two others were wounded on Friday by Saudi fire in Sa’adah province, according to local sources.

Almasirah’s correspondent in Sa’adah reported that a young man was shot dead near the Al Thabit area in the border district of Qatabir. Two other civilians were injured in separate incidents: one in the border district of Shada, and another near the Al Sheikh area in the border district of Monabbih.

The correspondent added that two civilians were also injured on Saturday, one of them critically, near the Al Sheikh area in Monabbih district, as a result of continued Saudi shelling and gunfire targeting border areas.

The latest incident comes amid ongoing Saudi attacks on civilian-populated border districts in Sa’adah, which have repeatedly resulted in civilian casualties and damage to property. Local authorities and rights groups say the violations persist despite a prolonged international silence over what they describe as systematic attacks on civilians in Yemen’s northern border regions.
