• US-Zionist agenda pressures Lebanon toward normalization through border talks

Remarks by US Deputy Envoy to the Middle East Morgan Ortagus regarding the “three diplomatic working groups” on Lebanon-Zionist negotiations have reignited concerns that Washington is steering Lebanon toward normalization with the Zionist occupation under the pretext of diplomatic means. The initiative, orchestrated by Washington, appears to be part of a broader objective to integrate Lebanon into a regional normalization framework that serves Zionist interests. Growing anxiety over the plan’s implications has intensified, particularly as Israeli media actively promotes it, fueling fears of its potential consequences for Lebanon’s internal stability.

A statement from Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that these discussions are not merely about border disputes but part of a comprehensive plan for normalization.  A Zionist political source indicated that Netanyahu’s policies had already transformed the  Middle East and that Lebanon is the next step in maintaining this momentum. The source also reported that the diplomatic process was designed to move beyond military negotiations to political agreements, including the upcoming transition from military-led Naqoura talks to official diplomatic negotiations.

Recognizing that Lebanon’s new leadership faces opposition from Hezbollah and Amal, the Zionist source suggested that the recent release of five Lebanese detainees was intended to strengthen the president’s position and facilitate future diplomatic openings to normalization. These working groups, established by Washington and Tel Aviv, are specifically designed to advance this agenda under the guise of resolving long-standing border disputes. Meanwhile, Israeli Colonel (Res.) Moshe Elad publicly suggested that Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun wants to initiate a new phase in relations between Lebanon and the Zionist enemy.

Ortagus’ statements and Zionist media reports indicate that Washington and Tel Aviv aim to leverage the war on Lebanon to reshape the country’s political landscape, mainly by imposing a leadership aligned with their interests and steering the country toward the Abraham Accords. Political sources suggest US and the Zionist entity see Hezbollah as weakened, enabling Lebanese adversaries to advance this plan. While Lebanese officials uphold the 1949 Armistice and 1923 Newcombe Agreements, Zionist colony demands recognition of the so-called Blue Line and control over Ras al-Naqoura, reinforcing its push for broader territorial adjustments. The next round of diplomatic discussions is expected to take place within weeks, reflecting the accelerated timeline of this initiative.

Despite these developments, Lebanon’s official position remains largely absent.  While some sources deny Zionist, there has been no firm challenge to the broader normalization framework. However, Lebanon’s complex internal political landscape and the resistance’s continued presence indicate that this effort will face significant hurdles in the months ahead.

  • Lebanon must be freed from the US-BACKED terror colony incursions now.

Zionist drones have been flying at low altitude over Beirut, the southern suburbs, Hermel, and surrounding villages yesterday morning. (Lebanese National News Agency)

Another Zionist drone was flying at low altitude over Safad al-Battikh, Baraachit, Chaqra, and Tebnine in South Lebanon (Bint Jbeil district), broadcasting incitement against the resistance.

A Zionist troop, supported by a Merkava tank, advanced from Jabal al-Blat toward the western outskirts of Ramiyeh, then moved into Halawani area in South Lebanon. The troop fired indiscriminately at the town center before withdrawing.

The Zionist force returned and stationed itself in a house in Halawani area, on the western outskirts of Ramiyeh, at the foothills of Jabal al-Blat, in South Lebanon.

It is still unclear whether the release of Lebanese army soldier Ziad Shibli, held by Zionist forces, will occur today at Ras al-Naqoura crossing as planned, or if it will be delayed until tomorrow.

    Al Akhbar

These illegal drone flights gather sensible information on the people of Lebanon.

Not only are the drones that collect information. The Zionist enemy camouflages secret spy devices in rural Lebanon to gain incriminating information on movements.

How else could their snipers have been able to kill the soldier who had attended a Hezbollah funeral in civilian capacity a few days ago and injuring another?

Once again, the war has ended!

The US-BACKED terror colony was supposed to leave by February 18, 2025.

There is supposed to be a ceasefire committee to observe and safeguarde the peace agreement.

However, we do not see any genuine effort to end the hostilities completely and enforce the colony to retrieve.

It cannot be stress enough that the Lebanese Resistance protected the land better than the Lebanese army and the so-called peace Committee.

Most of the destruction in the south was caused once the Lebanese Islamic Resistance  retrieved following the ceasefire agreement.

It is the responsibility of the committee and the Lebanese army to enforce the terms of the agreement and draw away this enemy who has no covenant.

    Make it happen now!

US-BACKED terror colony bombs south Syria as war chief repeats threat of ‘indefinite occupation’ from Mount Hermon.

“The day before yesterday, Zionist colony Air Force aircraft bombed dozens of targets in southern Syria, including radars and detection devices used to build aerial intelligence images, as well as military headquarters and sites containing weapons and military equipment belonging to the former Syrian regime in southern Syria. Twenty-two warplanes participated in the attack, dropping more than 60 bombs on southern Syria.”

Controlling the summit of Syria’s Mount Hermon gives “Israel” a vantage point over vast areas of Lebanon and Syria.

The safe zone established by the Israeli army in southern Syria extends 15 km deep and includes 40,000 Syrians.
    (Zionist Army Radio)

According to Hebrew Channel 12, around 40,000 Syrian civilians are currently in areas under Israeli control.

Zionist security services estimate that numerous security cells are operating in Syria, with “weapons present in nearly every home.”

Zionist occupation forces have divided southern Syria into three key areas to disrupt the new Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists consolidation of power and maintain control across multiple levels, from the border to Damascus. The security establishment sees operations in Syria as a preventive measure, “drawing lessons” from the 7 October, 2023 attacks.

EU pursues invitation of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists to Brussels after slaughter of Alawites

The European Commission has invited Syria’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terrorists to an official conference in Brussels after the slaughter of hundreds of Alawites in the country’s west.

Anitta Hipper, the European Commission spokesperson, revealed at a daily press briefing that “an invite was sent” to HTS foreign minister Asaad al-Shaibani to attend the donor conference for Syria’s new rulers on March 17.

Titled ‘Standing with Syria: Meeting the Needs for a Successful Transition’, the donor conference – which the EU has been organizing annually since 2017 – is set to be the first held since the ouster of the Assad administration in December.

Hipper said the conference presents a “very important occasion” to engage with the new Syrian rulers.

HTS-led forces have over the past weeks perpetrated a vast array of massacres against minorities, especially Alawites, in the country’s northwestern coastal region.

More than 1,540 people, the majority of them civilians, have been killed so far in the violence in the provinces of Tartus, Latakia, Hama and Homs, according to the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

In harsh rebuke of the massacres by HTS-led forces, human rights groups as well as the international community have called for an immediate halt to ethnic cleansing and sectarian-based atrocities in Syria.

They have also called for the establishment of an independent international investigation committee under the UN’s direct oversight.

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas on Tuesday stopped short of condemning the killings and defended the deeds of HTS militants.

“It is very, very early to tell whether this goes to the right direction. The first signals are good, but we are not rushing into any kind of arrangements yet, if we don’t have certainty,” she said.

Kallas only expressed concern about the risks of sectarian violence in Syria and a resurgence of extremism in the Arab country

Earlier in the month, the United Kingdom announced the removal of 24 Syrian entities from the sanctions it had imposed during the Assad government.

The European Union also suspended sanctions imposed on Syria, including the energy, transportation, and financial institutions sectors that were essential for financial stability in the country.

Violence has surged in Syria under the HTS rule, with hundreds of kidnappings and extra-judicial killings reported since the fall of Assad’s government on December 8, 2024.

Most of the victims who were abducted or killed across Syria are members of the Alawite minority religious group, as acts of revenge continue in the Arab country.

The HTS had repeatedly claimed it would respect the rights of all sects and religions in Syria, but it was dramatically debunked last week after the rampant massacre of Syrian Alawites by its cadres.

Noticeably, the HTS regime in Damascus is not directing its efforts against Israeli occupation forces just 20 kilometers from the capital.

Instead, its most keen target is Syria’s Alawite minority community, which faces abductions – sometimes in batches of five or 10 per day – executions, home invasions, and even forced humiliation, such as being ordered to bark like dogs.

While the HTS administration claims its killing operations target “remnants of the old regime,” the military crackdown on Alawites that started in early March quickly has descended into open massacres of civilians.

According to SOHR, at least 973 Alawite civilians were slaughtered on March 10 alone.
