A petition advocating for the return of detained prisoners has gained traction, with thousands of IOF reservists and civilians joining the cause. This movement is particularly significant among air force reservists, including pilots, who are urging the government to halt the violence, even if it means negotiating concessions.

Reports from the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reveal that the IOF is acknowledging the unrest among its ranks, with plans to engage in talks with soldiers who have signed petitions seeking peace. The army is reportedly concerned about the potential for protests to escalate further.

In stark contrast, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has firmly rejected a proposal from mediators that includes disarmament of their forces. A source within Hamas stated that they were taken aback by the suggestion, conveyed by Egyptian mediators, that any ceasefire agreement would hinge on negotiations for disarming the resistance. Hamas insists that any agreement must prioritize a complete cessation of hostilities and the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Gaza.

Discussions involving American mediators have also been underway, with Hamas expressing willingness to negotiate the release of nine prisoners. However, US officials are pushing for an increase in the number of prisoners to be released, complicating the negotiations. Hamas has deemed the American proposal evasive, as it lacks clear terms for transitioning to a ceasefire.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has declared the crisis as the worst in the region since the conflict began, with severe shortages of medical supplies, food, and water. UN Secretary-General António Guterres expressed deep concern following attacks on medical facilities, emphasizing the need to protect healthcare personnel and facilities under international law.

In terms of ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, reports indicate a tragic increase in casualties, with over 17 Palestinians martyred in recent Israeli airstrikes. The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported staggering figures, with over 51,000 deaths and more than 116,000 injuries since the onset of hostilities on October 7, 2023. The situation remains dire, with many victims still trapped under rubble, as emergency services struggle to reach them.

The Trump administration announced it will freeze $2.2 billion in federal funding to Harvard University after the institution refused to comply with White House demands for policy changes addressing alleged “rampant antisemitism and leftist ideology” on campus – specifically regarding student activism criticizing Israel’s occupation of Palestine and its genocidal war on Gaza.

According to an initial administration letter, $9 billion in federal funding to the university had been under review, contingent on Harvard implementing specific reforms. These included:

– Ban student groups like Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee and Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) that organize against what they term Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

– Bar students who support Palestine from federal programs.

– Implement ideological screening of international students to exclude those critical of US foreign policy.

The move represents the administration’s federal effort to suppress campus activism supporting Palestine.

The Palestinian NGO Network (PNGO) has said that Gaza has entered a full-blown famine as 91% of the population faces extreme food insecurity following Israel’s long genocidal war against the Palestinians there.
The Zionist colony is deliberately starving 2 million people — bombing bakeries, blocking food, and cutting off water. This is not a crisis. It’s genocide, PNGO said on Monday.
According to PNGO, 91% of Gaza’s population faces crisis-level food insecurity. 345,000 people are in Phase 5 — the most extreme stage of famine. 60,000 children urgently need treatment for malnutrition.
And 92% of children under 2 and breastfeeding mothers aren’t getting the nutrition they need. This means permanent, irreversible damage to an entire generation, the PNGO said.
This is not a natural disaster. It’s a policy of starvation — by design, it added.
Bakeries have been shut down. Food and medicine warehouses were bombed. Aid blocked at the border. Water desalination plant destroyed, the PNGO said.

Even polio vaccines and nutritional supplements are being prevented from entering, it stated.
“The Israeli apartheid regime is intentionally preventing the entry of food, medicine, and fuel,” PNGO said.
This is the textbook definition of genocide — and it’s being backed, funded and supported by the US, it said.
PNGO has demanded the following:
Gaza be declared a famine zone
Sanctions on the Zionist colony
Safe corridors for aid
Suspension of all arms transfers — especially from the US and EU
War crimes prosecutions for Zionist leaders.

The Zionist colony’s genocidal war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, has killed approximately 50,983 Palestinians, injured another 116,274, and displaced almost 2.2 million people.
The Zionist enemy has also imposed a blockade on free movement, which has led to severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.
