Statement by the Spox of the Yemeni Armed Forces General Yahya Saree
Yemeni Armed forces announce downing a new US MQ-9 drone in the skies over Sanaa.
“By the grace of Allah Almighty, and within the framework of confronting the ongoing American aggression against our country.
Our air defenses succeeded in shooting down a hostile American MQ-9 drone while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Sana’a Governorate.
The drone was shot down with a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile.
This is the second drone our air defenses have successfully shot down within 24 hours and the sixth during the current month of April.
This brings the number of drones shot down during the Battle of the Promised Victory and Holy Jihad to 21.
The continued airstrikes and targeting of civilians, properties, and public and oprivate facilities will not break the will of the faithful, struggling Yemeni people.
This will only lead to greater steadfastness and unwavering support for the oppressed Palestinian people in confronting the genocidal war crime being perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our people in Gaza, in response to our religious, moral, and humanitarian duty.
We will continue our support operations until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.”

US military conducts 13 airstrikes north of Yemen’s capital overnight: Report
Thirteen US airstrikes targeted locations north of Yemen’s capital Sana’a during the early hours of Saturday, local news agencies reported.
Saba news agency, citing local sources, reported that the US airstrikes included seven raids on Saada and Al Jawf governorates north of Sana’a.
Four of the raids targeted Al Jawf’s Bart Al-Anan and Khab Washa’af districts, and three struck Saada, the report added.
Additionally, six airstrikes were launched against Arhab district north of Sana’a, two of which hit the Al-Sama’a area.
On Friday, US military raids on Yemen’s Ras Isa oil port killed at least 80 civilians and wounded 150 others.
According to the Hodeidah Health Office, the attack on Ras Isa oil port has been one of the deadliest attacks on the Arab country by US forces.
Since March 15, the US has started a large-scale military operation against Yemen and in support of the Israeli regime.
The US and UK forces have repeatedly targeted citizens and civilian infrastructure, including government buildings and hospitals, across Yemen to stop Yemeni armed forces solidarity operations in support of Palestinians facing Israeli genocide since October 2023.
Since November 2023, Yemeni armed forces have targeted Israeli-occupied lands and ships affiliated with the regime in the Red Sea and other territorial waters in support of Palestinians in Gaza.
The Yemeni government has said repeatedly that won’t cease their retaliatory operation until the devastating war on Gaza stops, where the Israeli regime has killed more than 51,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children.PressTV report

Lebanon – the art of suffering in silence
Every day, we uncover a new atrocity of the genocidal Zionist colony’s crimes against humanity, surpassing the previous in savagery.
It is about the first Qana Massacre today.

RNN media On April 18, 1996, the occupation committed one of the most heinous crimes in South Lebanon: the first Qana Massacre.
Qana—where the occupation bombed a UN compound packed with civilian refugees, mostly women and children, who believed to be safe under international protection.
The compound was sheltering around 800 Lebanese civilians. The attack, later found to be deliberate by the UN, resulted in the martyrdom of at least 106 people, mostly children, and injured around 116.
The world condemned the attack. “Israel,” as always, was never held accountable.
After the first Qana, there was a second. In 2006, another massacre—again in Qana, again targeting civilians, again claiming the lives of children. But the reality is, thousands of Qanas have followed since.Crimes of the Zionist enemy against the people of Lebanon in a heart-tearing clip -

A civilian was killed after his vehicle was targeted on Ghazieh–Saida highway, South Lebanon. Al Akhbar Lebanese Health Ministry: One person killed in the Zionist airstrike targeting a car on Rmeish-Aita al-Shaab road in southern Lebanon.

A Zionist airstrike targeted Rmeish–Aita al-Shaab road in southern Lebanon. A drone strike once again targeted prefab rooms in Mhaibib, South Lebanon.
The so-called ‘Lebanese army’ is working hard to strengthen the Zionist enemy’s interests in southern Lebanon.
The welfare of the Lebanese people is at stake:
The ‘Lebanese Army’ seized a cache of rockets, weapons, ammunition, and detonation devices in the outskirts of Aaiha, Marj al-Tout – Rashaya.
The ‘Lebanese Army’ arrested eight individuals in Kfarzabad, Bekaa, for smuggling and selling weapons and ammunition from Syria into Lebanon.
Fortunately, Hezbollah has not abandoned its people.

Hezbollah Bloc, Shiite Council Prioritize Ending Attacks, Liberation, and Reconstruction
During a visit by a Hezbollah parliamentary delegation to the Higher Islamic Shiite Council Deputy Head, Sheikh Ali al-Khatib, MP Hassan Fadlallah outlined shared national priorities and positions:
• “Our national priorities are ending Israeli aggression, liberating occupied land, securing detainees’ release, and launching reconstruction—issues that demand unity, not division.”
• “We entrusted the state to maintain security south of the Litani, but Israel exploits Lebanon’s official weakness and ongoing inaction.”
• “The government is responsible for stopping Israeli attacks. Lebanese blood is not cheap, and the state must fulfill its duty to protect its people—something it has failed to do.”
• “Successive governments neither armed the army nor gave it a political mandate to respond to aggression. Only after addressing these core issues can we talk about a national defense strategy.”
• “No one can undermine the Higher Islamic Shiite Council. It remains a respected national institution committed to unity, dialogue, and internal stability.”
The delegation included MPs Hassan Fadlallah, Ali Ammar, Amin Sherri, and Ibrahim al-Mousawi, and conveyed greetings from Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem and Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad.Al-Qard Al-Hassan… Resumes Compensation Payments to the Most Honorable People.
Al Manar videoNeither the so-called Lebanese government nor its ‘Lebanese army’ is concerned with the issue of the Zionist occupation of southern Lebanon or the occupation of Palestine.
It is doubtful that they recognize the Palestinians and the Shia as human beings with equal rights.
They consider the Zionist colony/ American empire as a harbinger of prosperity and wish for more.

UK Local Council Pension Funds Are Investing Billions in Companies ‘Enabling Zionist Apartheid’
EXCLUSIVE: Hundreds of millions of pounds were invested in arms companies supplying the Zionist colony with weapons, including BAE Systems, Caterpillar, Lockheed Martin and RTX Corporation
Over £90million is invested in RTX Corporation, formerly Raytheon, which produces 4000-pound GBU-28 bombs used by the Israeli military.
For the first time, PSC’s research identifies investments in Amazon and Alphabet Inc (Google). This totals £4.7billion, nearly 40% of the value of all investments listed. Both companies work together to provide cloud computing infrastructure to the Zionist military and government, dubbed Project Nimbus.
In addition, the research shows LGPS funds hold over £28million in the Zionist government bonds, therefore lending Israel money to carry out its atrocities.
The research comes as campaigns calling for the divestment on LGPS funds from companies enabling Zionist human rights abuses continue to gather momentum. Earlier this month, Tower Hamlets Council passed a motion committing to divest its pension fund from arms companies, following a strong local campaign. While Bristol City Council has called for Avon Pension Fund to divest from arms companies, and companies active in Israel’s illegal settlements.Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) funds in the UK are investing billions of pounds in firms linked to companies which arm or equip the Zionist enemy colony with weapons or equipment, potentially used by the Zionist colony in Palestine.
Palestine Solidarity Campaign has released updated research revealing that Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) funds, administered by local authorities across Britain, invest over £12billion in companies they say are “enabling Israel’s genocide, military occupation and apartheid against Palestinians.”
The research, obtained through Freedom of Information requests, details the investments of 81 LGPS funds in companies which produce weapons and military technology used in the Zionist colony ’s attacks on Palestinians; provide services or infrastructure that supports the Zionist colony ’s unlawful military occupation; or conduct activity in Zionist colony ’s illegal settlements on Palestinian land.
The West Yorkshire Pension Fund has significantly larger total investments in PSC-criticised firms than others, with over £1 billion in total value, followed by Greater Manchester Pension Fund with £905 million.
Collectively, LGPS funds invest over £450million in BAE Systems, which manufactures components for the Zionist colony’s F-15, F-16, and F-35 fighter jets used to bomb Gaza. Over £80million is invested in Caterpillar, which manufactures bulldozers used by the Zionist colony to demolish Palestinian homes, schools and hospitals. Lewis Backon, Campaigns Officer for PSC told Byline Times: “The scale of LGPS fund investments in companies that are complicit in the Zionist colony’s grave abuses of Palestinian rights is shocking. The deferred wages of millions of local government workers are going into companies enabling the Zionist colony’s war crimes, without their consent.
“But workers and residents are making it increasingly clear that they won’t accept their pension funds being used to fund companies complicit in genocide and apartheid. We’re only one month into 2025 but already Tower Hamlets Council has committed to divest from arms companies, while Bristol City Council has voted to call on Avon Pension Fund to divest from companies enabling Israel’s crimes.”
He added: “This year will see the LGPS Divest campaign grow as a force for justice for Palestine – divestment from Israel’s crimes is a moral and legal imperative that cannot be ignored.”Over £90million is invested in RTX Corporation, formerly Raytheon, which produces 4000-pound GBU-28 bombs used by the Zionist military.

London Pension Fund Authority: £358 million
Hampshire Pension Fund: £336 million
Devon Pension Fund: £288 million
East Riding Pension Fund: £262 million

Defending their investment portfolio, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Pensions Authority said: “As one of the largest funds in the Local Government Pension Scheme it should be unsurprising that the South Yorkshire Pension Fund has large holdings in several large multi-national companies.
“The holdings identified are managed by the Border to Coast Pensions Partnership who engage both directly and in collaboration with other investors with companies to ensure that they are making appropriate assessments of the implications of their operations in conflict affected areas.”By Josiah Mortimer is Byline Times’ Chief Reporter.

Jolani in Time’s 2025 influential list amid sectarian killings in Syria –
Syria’s self-proclaimed president, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, has been recognized as one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2025, even as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) forces, under his leadership, continue targeting the Alawite minority in Syria.
His nomination, made by former US Ambassador to Syria Robert Ford, comes at a time when human rights bodies are sounding the alarm about sectarian violence in the war-torn country.
Jolani, once affiliated with al-Qaeda and Daesh, led HTS militants in their efforts to overthrow the government of President Bashar al-Assad last year.
Ford described Jolani as a figure who transitioned from militant commander to political figure, often forging alliances “at gunpoint” and securing Turkish support. However, Ford also questioned whether Jolani’s “moderate” stance is genuine or a strategic move for political gain.
Meanwhile, the HTS forces have been engaged in sectarian violence targeting Syria’s Alawite minority. Over the past two weeks, at least 42 Alawites have been killed, following the massacre of approximately 1,700 members of the community in coastal areas last month.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that these killings, which began escalating on March 7, have shifted from mass executions to individual acts of violence.During a brutal campaign, HTS forces reportedly went door to door, killing civilians, including women and children. Videos shared on social media show unarmed Alawite men being executed, with some subjected to degrading treatment before their deaths.
Jolani has attempted to justify these actions as “mistakes” made during counterinsurgency operations against what his administration calls the “remnants” of Assad’s government.
In response to public outrage, he established a fact-finding committee on March 9 to investigate the incidents. However, the committee’s deadline was extended by three months on April 11, raising doubts about the investigation’s credibility.
As sectarian tensions persist, nearly 30,000 Alawites have fled to neighboring Lebanon to escape the violence.PressTV report

Fake value systems. When Al Ghazali understood the philosophers, he wrote one of his greatest books, The Inconsistency of the Philosophers, to show their errors and in particular that man cannot understand God by his reason alone.
On the intellectual level, Al Ghazali decisively defeated the philosophers who wanted to import Greek thought into Islam.
Among other things that the philosophers taught contrary to the Quran, was the idea that the universe was internal, and therefore God had not created it.
The argument he used is simple:
1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause
2. The universe began to exist
3. Therefore the universe has a cause
By successfully refuting the argument of the Arabic philosophers in the eyes of his contemporaries, Al Ghazali permanently weakened the influence of Greek philosophical thought in the Islamic world.
