• Zionist daily Haaretz  questions the colony’s strategy: No one has ever subjugated Yemen—why keep trying?

Hebrew media acknowledged on Tuesday the ineffectiveness of the Zionist aggression on Yemen and its failure to deter Sana’a’s forces from continuing their support for Gaza.

In its Tuesday edition, Haaretz wrote that no country has ever succeeded in subjugating the Yemenis—so why does the colony keep trying?

The paper explained that the Zionist entity’s preferred strategy of targeted assassinations of military leaders is doomed to fail in Yemen, affirming that attacks on Hodeidah port will not break the will of the Yemeni people.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that Israeli forces detected missile launches from Yemen, with sirens sounding in the West Bank and in “Nir Am” near the Gaza Strip.

Haaretz called on the Israeli regime to consider addressing Yemen internally, stating the Yemenis are not afraid of their enemies and hold a genuine belief that Allah is with them.

It added that the Yemenis are not a “short, amusing story”—they continue to launch rockets at Israel and disrupt the daily lives of its population. Israeli air force strikes have failed to deter them.

According to Haaretz, US President Donald Trump grew tired of the war against Yemen and sought a deal with them. The paper questioned how much pressure Trump might exert on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reach a similar agreement in order to halt the missile strikes targeting the occupied territories.

Since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen has emerged as a pivotal regional actor in the confrontation, aligning itself firmly with the Palestinian resistance. The Yemeni Armed Forces, under the leadership of the Sana’a-based government, have launched a series of strategic military operations—including missile and drone strikes as well as naval and aerial blockades—targeting Israeli-linked infrastructure and shipping routes.

What began with the disruption of maritime traffic in the Red Sea soon evolved into more expansive campaigns, affecting key Israeli economic hubs such as the port of Eilat and Lod Airport. In May 2025, the Yemeni military escalated further by declaring a naval blockade on Haifa Port, a major economic artery for Israel, handling over a third of the country’s cargo volume.

These operations form part of Yemen’s declared policy of pressuring Israel to end its war on Gaza and lift the siege. The attacks have triggered widespread disruptions in international shipping, tourism, and air travel, with dozens of global airlines suspending operations to and from Israeli airports.

  • Fake Britain: UK deploys trade envoy to the Zionist colony days after ‘suspension’ of talks

The British envoy for trade with the Zionist colony Ian Austin visited the city of Haifa on 27 May to “promote trade” between ‘Tel Aviv’ and London, despite the UK announcing several days earlier the suspension of free trade negotiations with the Zionist colony over the assault on Gaza.

Critics have referred to the visit as ‘mixed messaging’ following strong UK condemnation of Zionist colony’s genocidal assault on Gaza and the announcement of a suspension of free trade negotiations

“Greetings from Israel! I’m here to meet businesses and officials to promote trade with the UK. Trade with Israel provides many thousands of good jobs in the UK and brings people together in the great multi-cultural democracy that is Israel,” Austin said on social media on Tuesday.

The British Embassy in Israel made a post welcoming Austin, adding that he “visited the cutting-edge Customs Scanning Centre, Haifa Bayport, the Haifa–Nazareth Light Rail project, and the Technion – witnessing UK–Israel cooperation at every stop.”

In an opinion piece for Politics Home just four days earlier, Austin said the UK would be “foolish to sever our trade links with Israel.”

“Trade isn’t just exports and quotas, it’s values and relationships. That’s why I’ll be working hard to maintain and strengthen our partnership with Israel. Thousands of jobs in the UK depend on trade with Israel,” he added.

“I’ll be visiting Israel next week to show our support and solidarity and to drum up business for Britain. Even without the benefits a new trade agreement would bring to Britain, our message is that we’re open for business, so we’ll still be encouraging British businesses to export to Israel and Israeli businesses to invest in the UK to create jobs here.”

He also blamed Hamas for starting the war “when it raped, murdered, and kidnapped Israeli civilians.”

Austin’s visit to Israel has sparked criticism among commentators and observers.

“Why is the UK sending its extremist trade envoy to Israel, a man who is an apologist for war crimes, at a time when the UK has ended talks on a new free trade deal?” said Chris Doyle, director of the Council for Arab-British Understanding.

“Last week the UK government suspended free trade negotiations with Israel in protest at the war in Gaza. This week the UK’s trade envoy is touring Israel. Slightly mixed messaging,” said Sky News correspondent in West Asia Alistair Bunkall.

Last week, the UK announced it would suspend free trade negotiations with Israel over its current operation in Gaza, dubbed Gideon’s Chariots, which aims to displace the entire population and bring the strip under Israeli military control.

Israel’s Ambassador to the UK Tzipi Hotovely was also summoned to the British Foreign Office, while London imposed sanctions on prominent individuals involved in Israel’s illegal settler movement in the occupied West Bank, as well as on construction companies active in the territory.

UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy said the existing trade deal with Israel is still in effect, but new discussions would not be able to take place with Tel Aviv’s “egregious policies” in Gaza and the West Bank.

London’s announcement coincided with a vote by EU foreign ministers to review the bloc’s cooperation agreement with Israel over its assault on Gaza.

  • A newly trumped-up Zionist rule grants the sentencing of Palestinian minors to life imprisonment

A new Zionist colony ‘law’ authorizes Palestinian children as young as 12 years old to be sentenced to life imprisonment in contravention of international human rights standards.

Youth Law (Adjudication, Punishment and Methods of Treatment) (Amendment No. 25 – Temporary Provisions) recently ratified in the Zionist ‘parliament’, Knesset, which permitts life imprisonment for 12-year-olds if they were convicted of “terrorism” and “terrorist acts” in the occupying regime’s courts.

Alongside the controversial rule, another law — the National Insurance Law (Amendment No. 251) (Revoking Allowances for a Child Imprisoned due to Terrorist Offence) — allows the illegal entity to suspend financial aid meant for children’s welfare, further impacting vulnerable groups.

Both laws were passed in November 2024 amid heightened tensions in the region, especially affecting Palestinian children living under occupation in the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip.Official reports said a record 37 percent of all Palestinian child detainees are held in administrative detention without charge or trial, while Zionist colony authorities enact systematic restrictions on access to legal counsel, family visits, and parliamentary oversight.

As many as 323 Palestinian children have been detained in Zionist colony prisons since March 31, the latest data available from the Israel Prison Service (IPS), which is the highest number since 2017.

Since the onset of the Gaza war in October 2023, the Israeli regime has turned prisons and detention centers into “death chambers,” the Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs in Gaza said.

Violence, extreme hunger, humiliation, and other forms of abuse of Palestinian prisoners have been normalized across Zionist colony’s jail system, the ministry added.

  • Yemeni ballistic missile triggers sirens in Zionist-occupied territories

Air raid sirens sound in several areas in the colonised territories after Yemeni Armed Forces fired a ballistic missile toward the occupying Zionist entity in retaliation for the regime’s ongoing genocidal war against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to Israeli media outlets, the fresh missile attack from Yemen triggered sirens in the strategic Jordan Valley and the northern side of the occupied West Bank on Tuesday morning.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The Israeli military said in a statement that its anti-air missile systems had intercepted the projectile.

The attack came two days after Yemen’s Armed Forces carried out a missile strike against the Israeli-occupied territories, halting flights at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv and setting off sirens across Israeli towns and illegal settlements.

Hebrew-language daily newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported at the time that several flights were stuck in the air due to the Yemeni missile, and that four flights were experiencing delays in landing at the airport, and were flying off the coast.

The Israeli occupation army claimed that air defense systems were working to intercept a projectile fired from Yemen as a ballistic missile had been detected heading toward the occupied territories.

Israeli media also reported that air raid sirens sounded in al-Quds, the Dead Sea area and settlements in the West Bank, sending millions of settlers to shelters around midday.

Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency response service reported no casualties.

As the genocidal war on Gaza escalated, the Yemenis enforced a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes, with the goal of obstructing the delivery of military supplies to Israel and urging the international community to take action regarding the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared they will continue their assaults until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.

  • Colombia appoints first ambassador to Palestine, offers medical aid to Gaza victims

Colombian envoy: ‘World can’t turn a blind eye’ on Gaza –

Jorge Ivan Ospina, Colombia’s newly appointed ambassador to the occupied Palestinian territories, says the “world cannot turn a blind eye” to the Palestinian civilians suffering in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
Ospina said on Monday that Colombia is willing to provide medical treatment for thousands of Palestinians wounded during the Zionist colony’s war on Gaza.
“People cannot die of hunger. They must receive immediate medical attention and must be rehabilitated,” he added.
In his post on Monday, Ospina publicly acknowledged his appointment and thanked Colombian President Petro and Foreign Minister Laura Sarabia and denounced “the genocide that the Palestinian people are suffering today” and working toward the “freedom of those who live there.”
The appointment marks a significant step in building on Colombia’s official recognition of the State of Palestine in 2018.
Colombia broke diplomatic ties with Israel last year over its genocidal war on Gaza.
Last month, Colombian President Petro slammed the Israeli regime’s “bloody genocide” in Gaza, drawing a parallel between the plights of Palestinians and Jesus Christ’s suffering.
“At the moment of the Passion and death of Jesus, let us reflect on the Palestinian people, from where he came, now under a bloody genocide,” Petro wrote in a post on X.
The Colombian leader has been an outspoken critic of Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza, and has repeatedly criticized the Zionist regime for its war crimes in Gaza, where about 54,000 Palestinians have been killed.

At least 53,977 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and another 122,966 individuals injured in the brutal Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 7, 2023, according to the health ministry of Gaza.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and former minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the besieged coastal territory.

Colombia Appoints First Ambassador to Palestine, Offers Medical Aid to Gaza Victims

Colombia appointed Jorge Iván Ospina, former mayor of Cali, as its first ambassador to Palestinian territories. He said it’s still unclear whether he will operate from Ramallah or a neighboring country.

Ospina announced that Colombia is ready to receive thousands of Palestinians injured in the Israeli war on Gaza, especially children. He stressed the urgent need for medical care and rehabilitation, adding that civilians in Gaza and the West Bank should not be left to suffer or die from hunger.

The move follows Colombian President Gustavo Petro’s decision months ago to sever diplomatic ties with “Israel”, accusing its government of committing genocide in Gaza. Last year, he also announced plans to open a Colombian embassy in Ramallah.

The World Health Organization warned that famine in Sudan is affecting 25 million people, including 770,000 children at risk of severe malnutrition this year.

WHO’s regional director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Hanan Balkhy, said during a UN briefing that simultaneous outbreaks of cholera, polio, measles, dengue, and malaria are overwhelming a health system already crippled by conflict.

The organization confirmed over 1,120 deaths in 167 attacks on health facilities, ambulances, patients, and medical workers.

The International Committee of the Red Cross also warned that continued fighting could lead to deadly disease outbreaks and a total collapse of healthcare.

Sudanese media report alarming levels of cholera infections, with hundreds of cases and dozens of deaths across Khartoum, Sennar, Gezira, and North Kordofan.

  • Zionist airstrike on Gaza school-turned-shelter kills over 35 Palestinians, including children

Zionist colony overnight airstrikes on a Gaza school sheltering displaced families kill at least 36 Palestinians, including many children, according to medics and civil defense officials.

Zionist forces, early Monday, struck the Fahmi al-Jarjawi School in Gaza City’s Daraj neighborhood, where hundreds of displaced Palestinians from Beit Lahia—a northern town under intense Israeli bombardment—had sought refuge.

According to Gaza’s Civil Defense agency, rescuers retrieved 20 bodies—many of them children—from the school, with numerous victims charred after fires tore through two classrooms that had been converted into shelters.

Local sources report the casualties included Mohammad al-Kasih, Hamas’s northern Gaza police investigations chief, as well as his wife and children.

The Palestinian health ministry reported that just before the school attack, an Israeli airstrike struck a residential building on Thawra Street in Gaza City.

The airstrike hit both a residential building and adjacent tents housing displaced families. The force of the explosion caused debris from the destroyed home to collapse onto the nearby tents, leading to further casualties. According to reports, at least four people were killed in the attack.

The twin strikes mark an intensification of Israel’s military campaign, which has seen a significant escalation in northern Gaza over the past week.

An Israeli airstrike Friday struck the home of Gaza physician Dr. Alaa al-Najjar, killing nine of her ten children. The attack left her 11-year-old son wounded and her husband, Hamdi al-Najjar, in critical condition.

Israeli military forces systematically target civilian families, medical facilities, and healthcare personnel as part of its ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Israel launched the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023. According to the health ministry of Gaza, it has killed nearly 54,000 Palestinians there so far, mostly women and children.

In January, the Israeli regime was forced to agree to a ceasefire deal with Hamas, given the regime’s failure to achieve any of its objectives, including the “elimination” of the Palestinian resistance movement or the release of captives.

The 42-day stage of the truce, which was marred by repeated Israeli violations, expired on March 1, but Israel is refraining from stepping into talks for the second stage of the agreement.

Al children, initially believed to have burned to death, was later clarified to have survived the Zionist colony onslaught.

A Correction We’re Glad to Make:

Ward Sheikh Khalil, the young girl seen in a video trapped and bewildered in the flames, was fortunately rescued — but tragically lost her mother and six siblings in the fire caused by the Israeli airstrike that struck Fahmi Al-Jirjawi School last night in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City. Her father was critically injured in the attack.
