US ends Syria sanctions program by executive order  granting reign to Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorist

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that Trump signed a new executive order ending sanctions on Syria and lifting the related national emergency, effective July 1. Rubio added that the administration is reviewing the Caesar Act and classifications of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and its former leader as global terrorists.

US State Department said remaining sanctions target individuals linked to serious human rights abuses, drug trafficking, terrorism, and weapons proliferation. Sanctions were lifted on multiple Syrian individuals, companies, and military units.

The Treasury Department removed those entities from its SDN List, allowing their assets within US jurisdiction to be unfrozen. A senior Treasury official said the decision will reintegrate Syria into the international financial system. Officials also confirmed that the executive order ends the state of emergency imposed on Syria since 2004.

The US government, alongside the West had imposed crippling sanctions on Syria while under  Al Assad’s government, starving to death hundreds of thousands of people.

At the same time, the US had been stealing wheat, crude oil, and other treasury from Syria during the 14-year-old civil war.

While Trump eases sanctions, terrorist Jolani turns life to hell for Syrians by imposing blockades.

A sit-in is underway on the Syrian side of Jdeidet Yabous border crossing with Lebanon, as Syrian public transport drivers protest a government decision banning the entry of fuel from Lebanon. The protest has caused traffic congestion on the Syrian side, while the situation remains normal on the Lebanese side.
