“After stopping aid deliveries to Gaza, our next step will be cutting off electricity and water before resuming military operations.”
Zionist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich
Yesterday, Netanyahu decided to halt the entry of all goods and supplies into Gaza with the end of the first phase of the ceasefire.
The government ordered the army to close all crossings into Gaza.

This move coincides with a surge in inflammatory statements by Zionist officials against Palestinians, reflecting a deliberate intent to continue this crime by depriving them of basic life necessities and imposing living conditions designed to ensure their destruction.
On Sunday, Israeli authorities announced a complete halt to the entry of goods and humanitarian supplies into Gaza, closing all crossings. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly threatened “additional consequences,” disregarding the dire humanitarian reality for over 2 million people.
The Euro-Med Monitor emphasized that humanitarian aid is an inalienable right for civilians under international humanitarian law, with no exceptions or legal justifications permitting Israel to deny Palestinians access to basic aid.
The Monitor stated that Israel is not merely using aid as a bargaining chip for political or military gains but is deliberately implementing a systematic starvation policy, creating deadly living conditions to make survival in Gaza impossible.
It noted that Israel’s repeated coordination with the current U.S. administration, which has openly expressed its intent to forcibly displaced Gaza’s population, confirms that starvation and aid blockades are not isolated practices but part of a calculated plan aligned with American efforts to enforce forced displacement and empty Gaza of its people.
The Monitor warned that the inflammatory statements by Israeli ministers and Knesset members reflect a clear intent to destroy Gaza’s Palestinian population. These statements are no longer mere threats but have been translated into action through the complete cutoff of humanitarian aid, exploiting international silence to advance genocide through siege and starvation without accountability.
It highlighted that the majority of statements by senior Israeli officials about “opening the gates of hell” on Gaza and blocking all humanitarian supplies, coupled with actions on the ground, amount to direct and public incitement to genocide.
Hostile Statements Against Palestinians
On Sunday, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called the halt to humanitarian aid “an important and correct step,” urging to “open the gates of hell on the enemy with the deadliest and fastest force until victory.”
Similarly, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar dismissed UN and international warnings about the risk of famine in Gaza, calling them “a lie” and stating that the Israeli government is not committed to allowing humanitarian aid.
Former Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir declared that “now is the time to open the gates of hell and cut off electricity and water to Gaza,” advocating for plans to forcibly displace its population.
Knesset member Almog Cohen called on Israeli forces to “kill Palestinians in Gaza mercilessly” during Ramadan, claiming it is the “best time to kill them as they are weak and tired.”
The Euro-Med Monitor noted that genocidal intent has been openly expressed by the Israeli government and its mainstream for a long time, even before the genocide in Gaza began on 7 October 2023. For instance, Israeli Minister of Religious Services Matan Kahana previously expressed his desire to “press a button” to expel all Palestinians.
After 7 October 2023, genocidal rhetoric became routine among senior Israeli officials, including former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant’s statement about imposing a “complete siege on Gaza: no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals, and we act accordingly.”
