Electricity and Telecom services slowly returning to southern border villages through Hezbollah & Amal

Hezbollah announced the start of damage assessment and restoration for frontline villages in Tyre district.

Hussein Khair al-Din, General Coordinator at Jihad al-Binaa Foundation:

• “We have begun surveying the damages in the western sector.”

• “We are deploying engineering teams to assess the damage to housing units and allocate funds for restoration and accommodation (…), paving the way for the return of the residents to their villages.”

• “Coordination will take place with intermediaries between engineers and the affected, preventing any logistical burden from overwhelming the engineers’ daily capacity.”

MP Hussein Jishi, member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc:

• “This project is part of the resistance efforts to rebuild and grant our people a dignified and honorable return.”

• “The reconstruction project is a huge task. In two months, the foundation’s teams surveyed over 250,000 housing units—something even some countries might find difficult to achieve.”
