The South Lebanon Settlement Movement, 

backed by hardline settlers such as Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich

seeks to reoccupy southen Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

Under the protection of the military,  The South Lebanon Settlement Movement will host its inaugural conference on Monday- extending the ongoing settler movement to occupy Palestinian territories.

Itay Epshtain, special advisor for the Norwegian Refugee Council, condemned the group ahead of its upcoming meeting, highlighting the group’s plans.
