Massive destruction of civilian infrastructure and equipment by zionist entity in southern Lebanon
zionist colony’s latest attack on south Lebanon destroys over 300 vehicles, heavily damages electricity grid.
The strikes led to the martyrdom of one citizen and the injury of another who were passing by.
The Lebanese News Agency reports that over 300 bulldozers and engineering vehicles were destroyed in the Israeli overnight attack on the Musaylih road in southern Lebanon.
Electricite du Liban, Lebanon’s main electricity provider, reported that the strikes inflicted heavy damage on the high-voltage transmission network. A 66 kV tower was completely destroyed, severing the Zahrani–Musaylih line and disrupting power to the main 66 kV substations in Sidon and Siblin.
The attacks also cut the primary 220 kV Zahrani–Tyre transmission line, impacting much of southern Lebanon and forcing the shutdown of several substations, including Tyre, Wadi Jilou, Sultaniyeh, and Taybeh. The Cradle Media report

Syria’s Alawites strike, protest against HTS child abductions, sectarian murders
Syria’s Alawite community has staged a mass rally against widespread abductions and sectarian murders by the armed militants of Hayat Tahrir al‑Sham (HTS) group, which seized the helm of the Arab country’s government after removing former president Bashar al-Assad from power in December last year.
The protest was staged on Thursday after the kidnapping of Mohammed Qais Haidar, a 13-year-old Alawite student, in Syria’s western coastal city of Latakia, with demonstrators taking to the streets and displaying pictures of the young eighth-grader as they demanded immediate action from authorities.
The rally was accompanied by a general strike, including the closure of commercial shops, across Latakia, and parents refrained from sending their children to schools in protest against the mounting incidents of killing, kidnapping and harassment of Syrian Alawites by the HTS militants.
The 13-year-old was kidnapped by “gunmen” in front of Jamal Dawood School in Latakia in broad daylight and in full view of his classmates on Wednesday, and they used two vehicles to disperse bystanders before fleeing, according to local media reports and eyewitnesses.
“Armed men belonging to Syrian government security forces, known as General Security, driving a silver Hyundai Santa Fe, abducted eighth-grade student Mohammad Qais Haidar,” the rights advocacy group Syrian Justice Archive (SJT) reported.
The SJT said Haidar’s family is well known in Latakia as his father is a university professor and his mother is a schoolteacher, adding that the kidnapping occurred in an area presumed to be safe and under the watch of local security forces stationed near the school.
State media cited Syrian security forces in Latakia as saying that an investigation has been launched into the kidnapping of the 13-year-old student.
The abduction came a day after the brutal killing of an Alawite school teacher in Homs Province on October 7, as well as a slew of other murders in recent days.
Liyal Dammar Ghreib, a mother of four from the al-Zahraa neighborhood, was shot and killed by two fighters from the “General Security” in Homs, SJT said, stressing that she was killed outside the Walid al-Najjar School in the Jubb al-Jandali neighborhood as she was arriving for work.
The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a Britain-based war monitor, warned that the surge in kidnappings in Alawite-majority areas “threatens to repeat scenes of fear among both parents and students alike” amid a lack of effective security measures.
According to local reports, a Shia man, Ali Muhammad Madah, was kidnapped from his home in the al-Abbasiyah neighborhood in Homs on Wednesday by gunmen linked to the HTS. The militant group stole money from his house, assaulted the women inside, and later demanded a ransom of 600 million Syrian pounds ($55,000).
The body of an Alawite man, Nidal Ahmad Salloum, was found on Thursday, two days after he was kidnapped in the city of Hama. Salloum was originally from the town of al-Mahrousa, in the al-Ghab Plain in western Syria.
Earlier, an Alawite man from the town of Mahrousa in the Masyaf countryside of Hama was found dead, with the SOHR saying he was killed after being kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The abductions and murders take place amid broader political instability following an Israeli-US-backed sweeping raid on Syria’s western provinces by HTS militants — led by Ahmad al-Shaara (also known by his nom de guerre, Abu Mohammed al‑Jolani) — and the collapse of Assad on December 8, 2024.
Violence targeting Syria’s Alawite community persists in the aftermath of the brutal campaign executed by HTS security forces in March.
According to the SOHR, a minimum of 1,600 Alawite civilians were killed in at least 55 distinct massacres during three days beginning on March 7, which were also marked by the organized looting and incineration of their residences.
The collapse of the government in Damascus has, since December, seen the Israeli military launching airstrikes against Syrian soil, including military installations, facilities, and arsenals belonging to the Arab country’s now-defunct army.PressTV report

‘Lies, misinformation’: zion¿st occupation military produced videos to justify Gaza genocide
A new analysis has found that the z¿onist military produced three-dimensional or animated visualizations not based on verified intelligence but fabricated content and digital assets to justify the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
A months-long investigation by the zion¿st-Palestinian publication +972 Magazine and Hebrew-language outlet Local Call, together with the research collective Viewfinder, the Swiss network SRF, and the Scottish outlet The Ferret analyzed 43 animations released by the zionist occupation army over the past two years and found that many contain “serious spatial inaccuracies or pre-fabricated assets”.
The videos, including those depicting the alleged tunnels beneath the al-Shifa Hospital and a UN-run school in Gaza, are “sourced not from classified intelligence but rather from commercial libraries, content creators, and cultural institutions,” the study found.
The clips are typically published across zionist occupation military’s Telegram, YouTube, Facebook, X, and Instagram channels, and may be paired with a press conference by the occupation army’s spokesperson.
International media outlets will use the ready-made visuals, in many cases amplifying them uncritically.
“Instead of revealing hidden truths — as zionist military officials insist, and as the international media readily amplifies — the visualizations actually blur them,” according to the investigation.
It further said that interviews with soldiers involved in the production of these videos further illuminate how the Israeli army prioritizes the aesthetic value of the animations over their accuracy.
The analysis also found that more than half of the videos contained 3D assets, which were taken from third-party sources.
Over 50 different third-party assets were identified in total, which were replicated hundreds of times across animations of sites supposedly in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran, it added.
“A parking lot from Washington state, scans from a boat-building workshop in Scotland, and commercial storefront kits from the video game industry — all of these have been inserted, without credit, into animations presented as ‘illustrations’ of Hamas bunkers or Iranian weapons facilities.”Eyad Elyan, a Palestinian academic at Scotland’s Robert Gordon University specializing in AI and 3D modeling, said he was “deeply disturbed” to learn that Israel has been using Scottish assets in its propaganda animations, saying the practice aligns with the regime’s “long history of exploiting others’ resources and employing every means possible to promote baseless claims.”
“What is especially troubling, however, is how such fabricated content is uncritically accepted and amplified by mainstream media outlets,” he continued. “Much of this material consisted of outright falsehoods — for instance, the widely circulated animation alleging that Hamas operated a command center beneath the al-Shifa Hospital. No such facility was found, but [this claim] was used to destroy almost the entire healthcare system in Gaza.”
Scottish lawmaker Patrick Harvie said the zionist military made and distributed the videos in order to “justify” its Gaza genocide.
“When lies and misinformation are such a core part of an army’s strategy, it makes it all the more important that our governments take a stand and act to stop the atrocities that they are inflicting,” he added.
zionist colony unleashed its brutal onslaught on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out its historic operation against the usurping entity in retaliation for the regime’s intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.
The ‘Tel Aviv’ regime failed to achieve its declared objectives of eliminating Hamas and freeing all captives in Gaza, despite killing, according to the health ministry of Gaza, 67,194 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 169,890 others

Fragile ceasefire begins in Gaza after last-minute zionist strikes
A fragile ceasefire, brokered by the United States, has taken effect in Gaza, shortly after zionist conducted last-minute strikes on the strip.
zionist occupation military said the ceasefire officially began on Friday at 12 PM local time (9 AM GMT), following the completion of its withdrawal to agreed-upon lines of the first phase of the truce agreement.
By midday Friday, zionist tanks had pulled back from the coastal road of al-Rashid Street, which runs from southern to northern Gaza, allowing thousands of displaced people to return to Gaza City.
zionist occupation military’s announcement came shortly after zionist bombarded areas across the Gaza Strip.
The occupying regime conducted air and artillery strikes in Gaza City and Khan Younis on Friday morning, hours after the Israeli cabinet approved the ceasefire deal.
Gunshots were also reported in the strip, but there were no immediate reports of possible casualties.
At least eight Palestinians were killed on Thursday when Israeli forces carried out strikes in Gaza, after mediators announced that a deal had been reached. The Israeli cabinet approved the plan on Thursday. Hamas chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya also confirmed on Thursday that the movement had also approved the agreement “to end the war.”
He noted that the US and other mediators had given guarantees that the signing of the deal would mean the war “has ended indefinitely.”
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that troops are expected to complete their withdrawal from major urban centers in Gaza by Saturday morning.
Twenty living Israeli captives held in Gaza and several bodies are expected to be released within 72 hours after that, in return for 2,000 Palestinian prisoners jailed in zionist colony.
The deal marks the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza ceasefire plan, with further stages to be negotiated at a later date.
zionist colony has so far killed at least 67,194 Palestinians since it launched the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.PressTV report

BREAKING: Hamas officially announces that it has reached an agreement to end the aggression against Gaza
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Following responsible and serious negotiations conducted by the Movement and the Palestinian resistance factions regarding President Trump’s proposal in Sharm El Sheikh, aimed at achieving a halt to the war of extermination against our Palestinian people and the withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip; the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announces reaching an agreement that stipulates ending the war on Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation from it, the entry of aid, and the exchange of prisoners.
We highly appreciate the efforts of the mediating brothers in Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, and we also value the efforts of US President Donald Trump aimed at permanently stopping the war and the complete withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip.
We call upon President Trump, the guarantor states of the agreement, and various Arab, Islamic, and international parties, to compel the occupation government to fully implement the requirements of the agreement, and not allow it to evade or procrastinate in applying what has been agreed upon.
We salute our great people in the Gaza Strip, in Al-Quds and the West Bank, and inside and outside the homeland, who recorded unparalleled positions of glory, heroism, and honor, and confronted the fascist occupation projects that targeted them and their national rights; these great sacrifices and stances thwarted the plans of the “israeli” occupation for subjugation and displacement.
We affirm that the sacrifices of our people will not be in vain, and that we will remain faithful to the covenant, and will not abandon our people’s national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.

zionist-american entity Escalates Southern Lebanon Strikes, Violating Lebanese sovereignty
zion¿st enemy completely destroyed a café in the southern Lebanese town of Houla in a series of targeted drone strikes overnight, Al-Manar’s correspondent reported. The aggression, which began with a stun grenade and culminated in multiple missile impacts, is being condemned as a continued violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
According to Al-Manar’s correspondent in south zionist warplane targeted the town of Houla four times in a row. zionist quadcopter initiated the assault just after midnight, dropping a stun grenade before striking the café in the town center. The drone later returned to fire three additional missiles, reducing the establishment to rubble. This destruction in Houla is part of a sharp uptick in zionist aggressions along the southern border. Just one day prior, on Tuesday, a zionist drone strike on the town of Deir Ames martyred one Lebanese civilian and injured another. In a separate attack, a civilian was also martyred when the colony targeted a bulldozer in Wadi Maryamin on the outskirts of Yater.

Following deportation, Greta Thunberg Says zion^st colony Tortured Her, Other Gaza Flotilla Activists
Swedish climate campaigner Greta Thunberg says she and other activists with the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla were subjected to mistreatment and torture while being held in z^onist prisons after the regime’s naval forces apprehended them in international waters.
During a news conference in Stockholm on Tuesday, Thunberg said that she and others were “kidnapped and tortured” by the Israeli military, but declined to provide further details initially.
When pressed, she mentioned the lack of access to clean water and the deprivation of critical medication for other detainees.
Thunberg personally expressed reluctance to share the specifics of what she experienced, as she did not want the focus to be on her personal ordeal, emphasizing that the real issue was the daily suffering of people in Gaza.
Thunberg was part of the Global Sumud Flotilla, a group of vessels aiming to deliver aid supplies to Gaza and draw attention to the hardships faced by the besieged territory’s residents, most of whom have been displaced and are experiencing widespread hunger according to the United Nations.
Following her detention along with 478 others in the flotilla, Thunberg was expelled by zionist entity on Monday.
zionist colony has dismissed the flotilla as a publicity stunt benefiting the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, and has previously detained Thunberg at sea in a similar attempt to breach the blockade of Gaza in June.
Thunberg and other participants also expressed dissatisfaction with the level of support provided by the Swedish government during their detainment.
In response, the Swedish government stated that it had consistently advised against travel to Gaza, but had still offered consular support to the activists and emphasized to Israel the importance of treating Swedish citizens well.
The Global Sumud Flotilla, made up of over 50 vessels, set sail from Barcelona late last month to deliver aid to Gaza and challenge what human rights groups have condemned as one of the harshest and most inhumane blockades in the world.
The flotilla was near the Gaza shore when zionist forces intercepted the humanitarian convoy overnight last Wednesday, while it was sailing in international waters.
zionist occupation military seized more than 40 boats, detained the activists on board, and took them to the Israeli-occupied territories.
zionist colony ‘beat, tied up and tortured’ Gaza flotilla activists in prison
David Adler, another participant of the aid-carrying flotilla who was deported by Israeli forces, said he and his fellow detainees experienced regular physical abuse, restraint, psychological torment, and deprivation of food and medical care over a period of five days in zionist prisons.
Adler, a Jewish American activist who serves as the co-general coordinator of the left-wing organization Progressive International, told Middle East Eye after his release that they were forcibly transported to Ashdod port and subsequently to Ketziot prison, located in the Negev desert following the violent interception.Al Masirah report
