• Madagascar’s president says he fled the country in fear for his life after military rebellion

African Union suspends Madagascar as military leader set to be sworn in as president.

Army assumed power after parliament voted to impeach Andry Rajoelina following widespread protests.

Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina said he has fled the country in fear for his life following a military rebellion but did not announce his resignation in a speech broadcast on social media late Monday from an undisclosed location.

Rajoelina has faced weeks of Gen Z-led anti-government protests, which reached a pivotal point on Saturday when an elite military unit joined the protests and called for the president and other government ministers to step down. That prompted Rajoelina to say that an illegal attempt to seize power was underway in the Indian Ocean island and leave the country.

“I was forced to find a safe place to protect my life,” Rajoelina said in his late-night speech, which was also meant to be shown on Madagascar television but was delayed for hours after soldiers attempted to take control of the state broadcaster buildings, according to the president’s office.

The speech was ultimately broadcast on the presidency’s official Facebook page but not on national TV.

They were Rajoelina’s first public comments since the CAPSAT military unit turned against his government in an apparent coup and joined thousands of protesters rallying in a main square in the capital, Antananarivo, over the weekend.

  • zionist military court rubberstamps another 6-month extension of Dr. Abu Safiya’s detention

A zionist military court has extended the detention without charge of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya for another six months, despite his name having previously appeared among those discussed for release under a recent ceasefire deal.

zionist occupation’s Be’er Sheva Court held a session on Thursday morning to extend the captivity of Abu Safiya, 52, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.
He appeared via video conference as the court renewed his ‘detention’ for six additional months under the so-called “Unlawful Combatant Law.”
Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights, a non-partisan, non-governmental human rights organization based in Gaza, strongly condemned the court’s decision, describing it as a flagrant violation of international law and the protections guaranteed to medical workers in wartime.
The rights organization stated that Dr. Abu Safiya’s continued abduction without charge or fair trial amounts to hostage-taking by the zionist occupation, and reflects the ongoing policy of targeting Gaza’s healthcare sector.
It also called for his immediate release, along with all detained Palestinian healthcare workers, and urged the international community to intervene to stop zionist colony escalating violations against Palestinian prisoners and medical professionals.
Meanwhile,  Abu Safiya’s family expressed deep concern over his continued detention and reaffirmed full trust in the legal team and all humanitarian efforts working toward his freedom.
The family also calls on relevant institutions, human rights organizations, and the negotiating parties to actively address his case and work toward his immediate release.
Ramy Abdu is Assistant Professor of Law and Finance, Founder and the Chairman of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, said in a social media post that Abu Safiya was held as a bargaining chip, not a prisoner of law but of politics.
Israel has refused to release two prominent Palestinian doctors — including the pediatrician Abu Safiya — as part of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with the Hamas resistance movement.
A Hamas official recently said that “the occupation refused to release Abu Safiya,” who was kidnapped during an Israeli raid that closed the last major functioning health facility in northern Gaza in December 2024.
Dr. Marwan al-Hams, director of field hospitals in Gaza, was also excluded from release under the truce deal, the official said.
According to Physicians for Human Rights Israel (PHRI), Abu Safiya has faced starvation, physical abuse, and invasive searches while in detention. The group said he has not been charged, interrogated, or brought before a judge since March.
The group condemned the Palestinian doctor’s continued detention, saying it exemplifies “the systemic targeting of medical professionals and health institutions in Gaza.”

Abu Safiya’s attorney, Ghaid Qasem, told Palestinian media that the doctor was being “abandoned to disease and hunger” in Israel’s detention center, Sde Teiman, which is known for brutality and torture.
Qasem warned at the time that Abu Safiya’s condition was rapidly deteriorating under deliberate neglect. She said that her client suffers from severe chest pain, irregular heartbeat, and high blood pressure, but has never been examined by a cardiologist since his arrest.
Last week, the regime and Hamas agreed to the first phase of a plan to bring a ceasefire to Gaza, release all Israeli captives remaining in the coastal sliver in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, and a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the entire Palestinian territory.

The exclusion of the doctors from the ceasefire deal has drawn outrage from Palestinian officials and human rights organizations, who condemn Israel for weaponizing medical personnel in its war against Gaza’s health sector.
Observers say the exclusion of key Palestinian prisoners — particularly doctors vital to Gaza’s collapsing healthcare system — combined with ongoing restrictions and violence, reflects Israel’s disregard for Palestinian life and undermines efforts toward lasting peace.

  • Yemen’s Armed Forces Announce Martyrdom of Senior Commander in z¿onist-american Strikes

Yemen’s Armed Forces have announced the martyrdom of a senior military commander in a zion¿st-american strikes, while releasing a comprehensive summary of their military operations conducted over two years in support of the Palestinian cause.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said: “the Jihadist Commander, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, along with some of his companions and his son, the martyr Hussein, were killed in raids carried out by the “criminal american-zionist aggression” on the country during the two years of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.

In a statement issued Thursday, the Armed Forces pointed out that a large number of great martyrs, both civilians and military personnel from the naval, land, and missile forces, including the Prime Minister and his fellow ministers, and other Yemeni people, have ascended during this aggression and throughout two years of support, within the framework of the battle of the “Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad.”

The Armed Forces revealed that the total operations they carried out amounted to 758 operations, using 1,835 ballistic, winged, and hypersonic missiles, drones, and naval vessels, as part of the “Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad” battle, in support of the Palestinian people and backing the steadfast mujahideen in the Gaza Strip, and in defense of the nation’s sanctities.

They clarified that during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, over the course of two years, a large number of martyrs ascended, including civilians and military personnel from the naval, land, and missile forces, the Prime Minister and his fellow ministers, and from various sons of the Yemeni people.

    Operational Details

According to the statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces, represented by the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff Headquarters, and all various military formations—land, naval, and air—were at the forefront of this people and the spearhead in support operations and direct battles with the “criminal zionist enemy.”

The total operations executed by the Yemeni Armed Forces, by God’s grace and assistance, reached 758 operations, carried out with 1,835 ballistic, winged, hypersonic missiles, drones, and naval vessels.

Similarly, the naval forces carried out their operations against Israeli ships and those violating the Yemeni ban on zionist navigation, with 346 operations in the operational theater extending from the Red Sea, Bab el-Mandeb, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, to the Indian Ocean, during which more than 228 ships were targeted.

The air defenses, by God’s grace and assistance during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, managed to shoot down 22 US MQ-9 reconnaissance drones and launched 40 interception operations against enemy aircraft of various formations, up to strategic bombers, with more than 57 missiles, and thwarted a number of aggressive operations, forcing many enemy war formations to depart.

“We want to seize the opporiunity now. The enemy is preparing and gathering, and we, likewise, must act with greater effectiveness and force. We want, God willing, to embark on steps, paths, and actions that are much, much greater than in previous periods.
This means everyone should move, for instance, with high effectiveness, seriousness, and concern, seeking help from and trusting in God. If we are all serious and concerned, and this concern is shared by everyone, then surely, God willing, God will bring about changes for the entire country.”

  • Yemen Calls on Saudi Arabia to Enter ‘Peace Square,’ End Stage of No War–No Peace

Yemen has reopened the path toward peace with Saudi Arabia, signaling the end of a prolonged political stalemate and expressing readiness to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable settlement within the framework of Arab and regional dialogue.

The announcement came in a speech delivered by Yemen’s President Mahdi al-Mashat on the occasion of the 14th of October Revolution anniversary. Al-Mashat underscored Yemen’s commitment to regional stability, shared security, and rebuilding relations based on peace and mutual respect. He reaffirmed Sana’a’s full readiness for constructive dialogue with Riyadh, calling for clear mechanisms of coordination to safeguard the interests of both nations and advance genuine peace.

In a special interview with Al-Masirah TV, member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, Ali al-Deelami, and strategic affairs expert, Ali Hamieh, discussed the dimensions of Yemen’s renewed call for Saudi Arabia to move into the “square of peace” and end the state of de-escalation, amid fast-changing regional dynamics following the end of the war in Gaza.

Al-Deelami said the initiative stems from a sense of national responsibility after eight years of war that inflicted vast destruction and economic hardship on the Yemeni people. He stressed that the continuation of the economic blockade and Saudi control over Yemen’s national revenues poses a grave challenge that can no longer be tolerated.

He added that Yemen has maintained calm over the past two years in prioritization of the Palestinian cause during the Israeli aggression on Gaza. But with the cessation of hostilities there, the Yemeni issue has returned to prominence — especially as economic conditions worsen and salaries remain suspended while revenues are held in Saudi banks.

Al-Deelami emphasized that Saudi Arabia must now honor previously agreed commitments, free from US pressure or political blackmail tied to other regional files, including Palestine. He also noted that Yemen today possesses significant leverage and will not accept partial or superficial solutions dictated by foreign envoys or their local proxies.

For his part, Hamieh described the Yemeni initiative as a strategic shift in Sana’a’s approach to Riyadh, asserting that Yemen’s position has strengthened after demonstrating resilience in the Red Sea and Gaza fronts, where the US-Israeli coalition failed to subdue Yemen’s will.

He noted that Washington is currently seeking to reposition itself in the region after repeated setbacks, using its Gulf allies to secure strategic Yemeni islands and rare resources — including “cold uranium,” which he said is among the West’s key objectives of dominance.

Hamieh affirmed that Yemen has become a central actor in regional deterrence equations and that attempts to punish it economically will fail just as the military campaign did. He concluded that Sana’a’s peace offer is not a media maneuver but a genuine initiative to end the prolonged state of no war and no peace, urging Saudi Arabia to respond seriously as “the coming phase will not resemble the past.”

This renewed Yemeni outreach comes at a sensitive moment of shifting political and security realities across the Middle East. It reflects Yemen’s determination to overcome previous stagnation and reaffirm its commitment to regional and international efforts aimed at promoting stability, rebuilding trust, and fostering peace that serves the peoples of the region.

  • 120 bodies returned to Gaza with clear signs of torture and update on ceasefire infringements

In a new ceasefire violation, a zionist colony drone strike targeted citizens in Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, resulting in two martyrs.

The occupation returned 120 bodies of Palestinian martyrs held during the genocide war.

Official examinations confirm evidence of field executions and systematic torture. Signs include clear marks of hanging, close-range gunshot wounds, bound hands and feet, and bodies crushed under “israeli” tanks. These crimes represent a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, and the Office demanded immediate and urgent investigation.

    The Government Media Office

The horrific scenes visible on the bodies of the martyrs handed over by the occupation, and the signs of torture, mutilation, and field executions apparent on them, clearly reveal the criminal and fascist nature of the occupation army, and the moral and human degradation reached by this entity, which does not differentiate in its aggression between the living and the dead of our people; this constitutes a heinous crime that amounts to genocide against our Palestinian people.

We call on international human rights institutions, foremost among them the United Nations and the Human Rights Council, to document these heinous crimes, open an urgent and comprehensive investigation into them, and bring the occupation leaders to trial before the competent international courts, as they are responsible for committing crimes against humanity unprecedented in our contemporary history.

  • Greta discloses torture horrors in zionist prisons

Greta Thunberg has revealed that she endured beatings, threats, deliberate humiliation, and dehydration at the hands of Israeli prison guards following the interception of a humanitarian aid flotilla.

In an interview with Swedish daily Aftonbladet published on Wednesday, Thunberg recounted the five harrowing days she spent in Israeli custody after being seized from the Global Samud Flotilla alongside other activists earlier this month.

She described guards carrying out “beating, kicking, and threats of being gassed in cages,” providing vivid details of the abuse.

“I was dragged to a paved area fenced in with iron, and they hit and kicked me while an Israeli flag touched me. They ripped off my frog hat, threw it on the ground, stomped it, and yelled insults in Swedish,” she recalled.

Thunberg gave a harrowing account of the relentless physical and verbal abuse inflicted by Israeli prison guards.

“They moved me very brutally to a corner … ‘A special place for a special lady,’ they said. And then they had learned (the phrases) ‘Lilla hora’ (Little w*ore) and ‘Hora Greta’ (W*ore Greta) in Swedish, which they repeated all the time.”

Thunberg, had originally said she did not want to draw attention away from the suffering of Palestinians by complaining about her prison conditions.

“This is not about me or the others from the flotilla. There are thousands of Palestinians, hundreds of whom are children, who are being held without trial right now, and many of them are most likely being tortured,” Thunberg told Aftonbladet, highlighting the broader suffering of Palestinians. The flotilla had sailed to challenge Israel’s long-running humanitarian blockade that continues to deny vital food and medical aid to the besieged Gaza Strip.

The confrontation began when masked Israeli soldiers carrying automatic weapons boarded the flotilla boats.

Thunberg described being forced to sit in a circle under the scorching sun while guards tore through supplies, tossing medicines and food into trash bins.

“It was extremely hot down there … We begged the whole time. Can we have water? Can we have water? In the end, we screamed. The guards walked in front of the bars the whole time, laughing and holding up their water bottles,” she said, illustrating the psychological torment.

The activists were eventually taken to Ashdod, the largest industrial port in the occupied territories, where the abuse intensified.

The 22-year-old was also made to change her ‘Free Palestine’ T-shirt.

  • Pakistan, Afghanistan agree to 48-hour ceasefire after deadly border clashes

Pakistan and Afghanistan have reached a temporary 48-hour ceasefire following a fresh round of deadly clashes along their northwestern border that left dozens dead and injured.
The truce announced by Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry took effect at 6:00 p.m. local time in Pakistan on Wednesday.
“During this period, both sides will make sincere efforts to find a positive solution to this complex but solvable issue through constructive dialogue,” the ministry said.
The ceasefire comes after heavy fighting overnight on Tuesday in Kurram, a district in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where Pakistani media reported that Afghan forces opened “unprovoked fire” on a Pakistani military post.
Pakistani troops returned fire, destroying several Afghan tanks and military positions, according to security officials.
Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid accused Pakistan of initiating the border fighting by firing “light and heavy weapons” across the border.
Mujahid said in a post on X that Pakistani forces killed 12 civilians and injured more than 100.Clashes over the weekend left dozens dead on both sides. Kabul claimed its forces targeted Pakistani military positions, killing 58 soldiers in retaliation for repeated Pakistani airstrikes inside Afghanistan.
Pakistan, however, disputed the figures, reporting that 23 soldiers were killed and more than 200 Taliban and affiliated fighters were killed.
Although mediation by Saudi Arabia and Qatar briefly halted fighting earlier in the week, all major border crossings remained closed, with tensions rising high.
The longstanding conflict stems from Pakistan’s accusations that Kabul harbors the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), responsible for carrying out deadly attacks in the South Asian country, a charge the Taliban denies.
While the ceasefire offers a temporary pause, many are concerned that mutual mistrust and recurring border skirmishes could spark a new wave of violence.
