Trump’s tariff threat over China-Iran trade
The pedophile-billionaire’s resolve to turn average Persians’ lives miserable through evermore sanctions.
China has vowed to safeguard its rights and interests after US President Donald Trump threatened to impose an additional 25 percent tariff on countries doing business with Iran.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning made the remarks during a regular news conference on Tuesday, a day after Trump announced in a post on Truth Social that any country doing business with Iran would face a 25 percent tariff on all trade with the United States and that the tariffs were “effective immediately.”
“We have always believed that there are no winners in a tariff war, and China will resolutely safeguard its legitimate rights and interests,” Mao said.
The Chinese diplomat further noted that Beijing is “closely monitoring the development of the situation,” when asked about advice for Chinese citizens travelling to Iran for tourism
“We will take all necessary measures to protect the safety of Chinese citizens,” she said.
Trump’s tariff threat comes as US-Israeli-backed rioters have failed to derail economic protests inside Iran.
Trump did not outline which countries could be affected or how the tariff would be implemented. Still, observers cited China as the most obvious target of the measure in light of the sheer size of its huge annual trade with the Islamic Republic.
The United Arab Emirates and India are also among Iran’s trading partners.
In recent weeks, shopkeepers staged peaceful protests in different cities across Iran over economic issues, but the demonstrations were steered toward violence after public statements by US and Israeli regime figures — amplified by Israeli-linked Persian-language outlets — encouraged vandalism and disorder.
Authorities have acknowledged the legitimacy of economic grievances and vowed to address them, while denouncing foreign-backed elements for exploiting people’s livelihood concerns, which are directly linked to unilateral US sanctions targeting Iran’s central bank and oil exports.PressTV report

Revenues of Eilat Port ‘drop to zero’ due to Yemen’s pro-Palestine operations
The port of Eilat, z¿onist colony’s strategic southern anchor, is “almost completely paralyzed,” zionist media reported on 12 January, following more than two years of disruptions to Red Sea shipping lanes, attacks on vessels, and geopolitical uncertainty caused by the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF).“Every morning, workers arrive at empty docks, ready and waiting, and the ships do not arrive,” Yediot Ahronoth reported.
“The port’s revenues, which previously reached about $74 million a year, have dropped to almost zero,” the newspaper added.
The port’s operations have been completely disrupted since November 2023, when the YAF seized ship bound for it.
At that time, port business was thriving with large shipments of automobiles from Asia, especially China, as well as products from countries like India and Australia. In October 2024, the port handled approximately 150,000 cars. Officials considered plans for Eilat to support zionist Mediterranean ports, such as Haifa and Ashdod, which faced threats from Hamas rockets fired from Gaza.
However, Sanaa’s intervention in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza “changed everything and managed to paralyze the southern port,” Yedioth Ahronoth revealed.
“On November 19, 2023, the Houthis [Ansarallah] hijacked a ship that was on its way to the port. Two companies, NYK and ZIM, that work with us, stopped sending ships here. For months, we thought it would be okay and the state would help,” Batya Zafarani, Eilat Port’s VP of Finance, told the Hebrew news outlet.
While asking for government assistance in July of last year, Eilat port CEO Gideon Golber told the Times of zionist colony, “The closure of a strategic seaport in zionist colony would be a huge international success for the Houthis [Ansarallah] that none of our enemies have ever achieved.”
However, the Israeli government failed to intervene to prop up the port’s operations.
“The colony has neglected the Port of Eilat,” stated Avi Hormaru, chairman of the Port of Eilat and CEO of the Nakash Group, on Monday.
“A bunch of terrorists decide for Israel whether it has a southern port or not. We don’t manage the Red Sea. The state is the one that needs to ensure that the route is open,” Hormaru added. The Cradle Media report

European Parliament bans Iranian diplomats from all premises because this is standard response in the West
zionist-american-Backed rioters, who kill children and attacked mosques and other public places, are glorified and encouraged to inflict more damage by the West.
The European Parliament has formally banned all Iranian diplomatic staff, government officials, and representatives from entering all of its buildings, Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced on 12 January.
The decision takes effect immediately, with Metsola saying the ban applies across all parliamentary premises in Brussels and Strasbourg, as well as the parliament’s secretariat in Luxembourg.
Metsola reportedly informed members of the European Parliament of the move in a formal letter, citing Iran’s response to widespread violent protests that have swept the country over recent weeks.
The demonstrations – which Iranian authorities say include participants funded from abroad and others found carrying weapons and explosives – have been met with what Metsola described as an escalating craUnder the new rules, individuals carrying Iranian passports will be checked at entry points, and those identified as working for the Iranian government will be denied access – a move Roberta Metsola said was meant to go beyond “support, solidarity, and action” in response to events in Iran.
She said that while protests “continue unabated,” they have been met by what she described as a crackdown involving “communications being blocked” and “reports of violence, killings, and arbitrary detentions,” adding that political prisoners “need more than just solidarity.”
Germany recently signed a security agreement with zionist colony in Jerusalem, formally aligning with zionist claims that Iran and its allies represent a regional and international threat.Iranian police recently arrested 100 individuals accused of rioting and dismantled two armed cells in western Iran, as security officials described the unrest as driven by externally backed operatives seeking to undermine internal stability.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran holds “evidence” that the deadly unrest was an armed “terrorist war against Iran” backed by the US and zionist colony, adding that “most of those killed were shot from behind.”
Protests erupted across Iran late last month following the collapse of the currency, a result of years of brutal US sanctions. Many of these protests quickly turned violent, with armed rioters killing over 100 members of the security forces in recent weeks. Civilians are also being targeted by rioters in a bid to pin the violence on authorities. This includes two young girls, one of them a three-year-old, who were killed by rioters in Isfahan and Kermanshah in the last few days. Scores of mosques, shops, government buildings, ambulances, vehicles, and homes have been vandalized.Hundreds of rioters have been detained over the past few days. Many were found to be in contact with foreign intelligence. Iranian authorities announced on 12 January that a shipment of over 200 pistols and shotguns was seized in West Azerbaijan province recently.
The Mossad also publicly urged Iranians to take to the streets.
Since the protests began, US President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to attack the Islamic Republic. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One on Sunday, Trump said, “We’re looking at it very seriously.”
“The military is looking at it, and we’re looking at some very strong options. We’ll make a determination,” he went on to say.Iranian authorities said they arrested an alleged Mossad agent operating among violent rioters, with Iranian media reporting that the detainee confessed to being recruited by Israeli intelligence through social media platforms.
The Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, said that while protest is a legitimate right, the violence being witnessed on the streets today, he warned, is driven by “enemy agents” and must be stopped.
Thousands of Iranians held counterprotests confronting the foreign-backed destabilization efforts, as officials said at least seven people, including two security personnel, were killed in the unrest, with National Security chief Ali Larijani warning that foreign intervention would “fundamentally alter the situation.”The Cradle Media report with videos

Iran summons European ambassadors to protest Western-state sponsored incitement to riots and vandalism
China rejects Trumpian threat of military action against Iran –
Iran has summoned diplomats from France, Germany, Italy, and the UK to protest their governments’ support for US‑ and z¿onist‑backed riots in the country.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the diplomats were shown video footage of damage caused by rioters and were told their governments should “withdraw official statements supporting” foreign‑backed elements, state television reported on Monday.
The French Foreign Ministry confirmed that “European ambassadors” had been summoned.
Peaceful protests over economic hardship escalated into riots last week, fueled by remarks by US and z¿onist leaders, with armed groups damaging public property and causing casualties among civilians and security forces. The enemies targeted every economic plan that Iran started to implement, destabilizing the market inside the country.

The top diplomat [FM Abbas Araghchi] pointed to Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator, noting that it has clear rules regarding the incitement of violence and the glorification of terrorism that are not being applied to anti-Iran news outlets.

The former US Embassy in Tehran serves as a museum for free thinkers, questioners, and intellectual and artistic creators. China has opposed America’s interference in the internal affairs of Iran, as US President Donald Trump threatened to attack the Islamic Republic in support of US-Israeli-backed rioters.
“We always oppose interference in other countries’ internal affairs and call on parties that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries should be respected,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning told reporters in Beijing on Monday.
“We oppose the use of force or the threat of use of force in international relations,” Mao said, adding, “We call on all parties to act in ways conducive to peace and stability in the Middle East.”PressTV report

British empire’s legalised lawlessness: Inventing laws to fit purpose, to silence, and to criminalise
The hunger strikers held today in British prisons are imprisoned on remand, without trial and without conviction.
British Police detained on one single day over 900 peaceful pro-Palestine protesters and has repeated this pattern weekly.
Palestine Action detainees have been on hunger strike for weeks.
The UK government has chosen prolonged remand, isolation and their censorship. It has chosen to restrict their contact with loved ones, allow medical neglect, and deployed the language of terror in an insidious attempt to deliberately strip these prisoners of public sympathy and basic rights before any trial takes place. The hunger strikers held today in British prisons: Qesser Zuhrah, Amu Gib, Heba Muraisi, Kamran Ahmed, Teuta Hoxha, Jon Cink, Lewie Chiaramello, and Muhammad Umer Khalid. They are imprisoned on remand, without trial and without conviction. For some, their remand has lasted over a year, and for most, they will not see trial for two.

UN pleads for release of 800 political prisoners in Venezuela oblivion to Maduro’s unlawful removal
zionist colony holds over 10.000 Palestinians, including 600 minors in its dungeons, just to provide a variable to N Maduro whom the West contemptuously ostracised.
Since the abduction of Maduro, the UN has been fire and flame in constructing a narrative to justify the lawless US intervention that killed over 100 people and caused considerable damage to civilian and military infrastructure.
The move comes as the country is adapting to new leadership under Acting President Delcy Rodríguez. The UN human rights office (OHCHR) has called on the Venezuelan authorities and the United States to ensure full respect for international law and has expressed concern over further militarisation in the country.
The UN calls it ‘A tool of repression’ and claims without evidence
The fact-finding mission has extensively documented what it characterised as the widespread and systematic use of arbitrary detention as a tool of repression and reiterated its call for the ‘immediate and unconditional’ release of all political prisoners.
Investigators said they had received information about armed colectivos, or Government-backed armed groups, who have been reportedly patrolling cities and intimidating the population since the US operation, while fresh arrests have been made during the crisis for those expressing dissenting political opinions.
Past findings, again without evidence
The independent fact-finding mission for Venezuela has cited multiple rights violations since it was established in 2019.
In its investigation into the country’s contested presidential elections in 2024, the mission’s findings included arbitrary detentions, enforced disappearances and torture. And where is the evidence for these claims?
And it goes on with the spinning of apro-West narrative
Investigators also found that during the peak of protests in 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2024, officials of Venezuela’s Bolivarian National Guard used excessive force, including the improper use of lethal and less-lethal weapons, among other violations.Submissive and Trump-pleasing Delcy Rodríguez released over 100 political prisoners – Al Jazeera report.

Myanmar made Rohingya lives a nightmare, Gambia tells genocide case
Gambia on Monday told judges at the United Nations’ top court that Myanmar targeted minority Muslim Rohingya for destruction and made their lives a nightmare in a landmark case accusing Myanmar of genocide.
It is the first genocide case the International Court of Justice is hearing in full in more than a decade. The outcome will have repercussions beyond Myanmar, likely affecting South Africa’s genocide case at the ICJ against zionist colony over the war in Gaza.Myanmar has denied genocide. zionist colony denies genocide and lawyers for zionist colony dismissed South Africa’s case as an abuse of the genocide convention.
GAMBIA SAYS ROHINGYA ‘TARGETED FOR DESTRUCTION’
Gambian Justice Minister Dawda Jallow told ICJ judges the Rohingya were simple people with dreams of living in peace and dignity.
“They have been targeted for destruction,” he said.
“Myanmar has denied them their dream, in fact it turned their lives into a nightmare subjecting them to the most horrific violence and destruction one could imagine.”Gambia, a predominantly Muslim West African country, filed the case at the ICJ – also known as the World Court – in 2019, accusing Myanmar of committing genocide against the Rohingya, a mainly Muslim minority in the remote western Rakhine state.
Myanmar’s armed forces launched an offensive in 2017 that forced at least 730,000 Rohingya from their homes and into neighbouring Bangladesh, where they recounted killings, mass rape and arson.Myanmar authorities rejected that report, saying its military offensive was a legitimate counter-terrorism campaign in response to attacks by Muslim militants.
ROHINGYA VICTIMS TO GIVE TESTIMONY
Speaking in The Hague before the hearings, Rohingya victims said they wanted the long-awaited case to deliver justice.
“We are hoping for a positive result that will tell the world that Myanmar committed genocide, and we are the victims of that and we deserve justice,” Yousuf Ali, a 52-year-old Rohingya refugee who says he was tortured by the Myanmar military, told Reuters.
In the 2019 preliminary hearings in the ICJ case, Myanmar’s then leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, rejected Gambia’s accusations of genocide as “incomplete and misleading”.
Gambia will present its case for three more days and on Friday Myanmar will be able to respond to the allegations.
Following that the court will hear Rohingya victims of the alleged atrocities in closed sessions. That will mark the first time Rohingya victims will be directly heard by an international court. In total, the hearings at the ICJ will span three weeks.
The ICJ is the U.N.’s highest court and deals with disputes between states.
Myanmar has been in further turmoil since 2021, when the military toppled the elected civilian government and violently suppressed pro-democracy protests, sparking a nationwide armed rebellion.
The country is currently holding phased elections, opens new tab that have been criticised by the United Nations, some Western countries and human rights groups as not free or fair. The military says the vote has public backing and is being conducted without coercion.
