Over 100 Syrian civilians killed in mass field executions
Syrian Observatory reported that security forces executed 90 Alawite civilians today following clashes with pro-Assad military personnel on the Syrian coast. Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP that 185 people have been killed since Thursday, including 45 pro-Assad fighters and 50 security personnel.
Syrian Network for Human Rights head Fadel Abdul Ghani told Alaraby TV that 125 civilians were killed by security forces in Latakia, Tartus, and Hama, while pro-Assad forces killed 100 security personnel and 15 civilians. He noted mass field executions and serious abuses.
The Supreme Alawite Islamic Council in Latakia urged the Arab League to send observers and put an end to human rights violations, claiming Alawites face systematic persecution and genocide by Syria’s ruling factions.
Internationally, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei condemned the violence and instability in Syria. In Lebanon, MP Haidar Nasser said the Syrian coast is bearing the cost of foreign wars, claiming 1,700 people were killed in a single day amid global silence.HTS-affiliated media announces that Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists have entered Jableh, Latakia, after heavy clashes with “Assad regime remnants.” HTS militant executes a child at point blank range.

Leader Al Houthi has spoken
Ansar Allah Give the Zionist enemy 4-Day Ultimatum: “We Will Meet Siege with Siege”
Ansar Allah leader, Abdul Malik Al-Houthi:
• the Zionist enemy ’s closure of Gaza’s crossings is a dangerous escalation alongside attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem, as they push to displace as many Palestinians as possible from Gaza and the West Bank.”
• “With this Zionist colony escalation, backed by US encouragement and weapons, there must be a firm stance in support of the Palestinian people.”
• “Turning a blind eye won’t help, nor will dodging responsibilities—just like the Arab summit’s statement, which was nothing but calls and demands without any real action.”
• “I am giving mediators a 4-day deadline to make progress. If Israel continues to block aid, keep the crossings shut, and prevent food and medicine from reaching Gaza, we will resume our naval operations against them. (…) We will meet siege with siege.”

Coastal Syria: Rising tensions and heavy casualties
Over two days of ongoing clashes on the Syrian coast, 147 people, including 69 Alawites, were killed. These 69 Alawites were executed by internal security forces. The clashes involved members of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, former regime soldiers, and civilians. Several others were injured, missing, or captured, with reports of executions.
Large crowds headed to the coast after the remnants of the old regime assassinated police and security personnel, leading to some individual violations. The Syrian government deployed military reinforcements to Latakia and Tartus and regained control of areas, including Qardaha, Jableh, and Banyas, where former regime soldiers are still active.
The Syrian Defense Ministry confirmed significant progress in re-establishing control over areas targeted by treacherous attacks against public security personnel. The curfew in Latakia and Tartus was extended until Saturday.

Western-backed Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham terrorists slaughtering civilians along Syria’s costal cities
Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists are committing massacres against unarmed civilians in the Syrian coastal cities and the countrysides of Damascus, Homs, and Hama. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) documents over 100 civilian deaths so far as clashes between new government forces and ex-Syrian Arab Army cells persist.
Meanwhile, Arab and Western media are silent, justifying these atrocities by framing the targeting of innocents as operations against “Assad regime remnants.”HTS militant brutally kill a defenseless civilian in Syria in what is reminiscent of Daesh atrocities against civilians in Syria and Iraq Circulating video shows Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham executing an unarmed civilian in Latakia. UK lifts sanctions on Syria’s de facto govt as civilian massacres continue
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorists are carrying out widespread sectarian killings and executions during a crackdown on an uprising launched by cells linked to the country’s former military
The British government has lifted sanctions on 24 entities in Syria, including the country’s central bank, coming during a severe economic crisis and an indiscriminate government crackdown on the uprising launched this week by elements of the former Syrian military.
The UK is the first country to unfreeze all Syrian central bank assets. Sanctions on the state airliner and state-owned oil firms were also removed on 6 March.
“This approach underscores our commitment to help the people of Syria rebuild their country and economy, including through support for a Syrian-led and Syrian-owned political transition process,” a UK government spokesman said.
“We will continue to judge Syria’s interim authorities by their actions, not their words,” the spokesman added.
Syria is facing a severe economic crisis. During the past three months, hundreds of Syrian factories, plants, and workshops have been closed in several governorates.
The UN issued a report last month highlighting that the Syrian economy will not be able to recover fully before 2080 – 55 years from now – due to the 14-year brutal war, which saw the country under relentless sanctions. Nine in 10 Syrians now live in poverty, the UN report estimates, adding that the country’s GDP is currently less than half of what it was pre-2011 – marking a loss of around $800 billion.
Late last month, EU countries suspended with immediate effect some of the sanctions the bloc had imposed on Syria, including restrictions related to energy, banking, transport, and reconstruction.
“This is a belated if very welcome step by the UK. The Syrian economy desperately needs a boost, and removing or easing sanctions is one of the key measures that can assist in this process,” Chris Doyle, chair of the Council for Arab-British Understanding, said about London’s decision.
The UK move coincided with the start of an uprising by cells affiliated with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Syria’s former military under president Bashar al-Assad’s government, on the Syrian coast, west of the country.
Heavy clashes erupted on Thursday between the former Syrian army cells and the authorities after security forces entered the town of Al-Daatour in Latakia and Dalieh in Jableh as part of a security campaign against remnants of the SAA. This campaign has been ongoing since the fall of Assad’s government in December last year.
Sporadic clashes and ambushes against security forces have been taking place since then – until the outbreak of large-scale fighting on Thursday.
The SAA cells have reportedly taken over a number of bases and military sites, including the Astamu airbase and Naval College in Tartous.
Intense clashes continue to rage in Latakia, Tartous, and around Jableh. The entire city of Jableh has been captured by the former Syrian army cells. Government reinforcements have continued to arrive from Hama, Homs, and Idlib, and are carrying out executions and indiscriminate attacks on civilians from the Alawite minority, which has faced heavy persecution since the new administration took power.
A video circulating on Syrian telegram channels on Friday shows the aftermath of a massacre of unarmed civilians in the Latakia countryside, specifically the villages of Al-Mukhtariyya and Al-Zobar on the Aleppo–Lattakia Road, carried out by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham-led (HTS) security forces.
At least 69 civilians have been killed by authorities since the uprising began, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The number is expected to rise.Videos shared on social media on Thursday evening show the security forces opening fire on protesters.

Scrab by scrab stealing Lebanese land
Zionist settlers entered Tal Al-Abad area on the outskirts of Houla this morning, claiming to visit the tomb of “Rabbi Ashi,” while locals in southern towns assert that the tomb actually belongs to Sheikh Al-Abad.
When the borders were demarcated after the liberation of the south in 2000, the Blue Line passed through the middle of Al-Abad tomb, dividing it into a liberated half and an occupied half. Over the years, Zionist forces began erecting a fence over the occupied part of the tomb and organized settler visits without approaching the Lebanese side. However, during the latest Zionist aggression, they seized the entire tomb and removed the dividing fence.
Al AkhbarAt dawn, hundreds of Israeli Hasidic settlers gathered to pray at the tomb of Rav Ashi, a 4th-century Babylonian Jewish rabbi, in southern Lebanon. The site, near the summit of Mount Shanan, sits directly on the Blue Line, nestled between an Israeli army post and a UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) base, overlooking the southern Lebanese village of Houla in the Marjayoun district.
UNIFIL spokesperson Kandice Adriel stated that “any unauthorized crossing of the Blue line is a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.”

Scores killed as opposition forces fight HTS militants in Syria
More than 70 people have reportedly been killed and dozens wounded in Syria due to heavy fighting between the ruling Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) militants and armed opposition groups in west of the country.
The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a post on X on Friday that the casualties were recorded on the Syrian coast after HTS militants were reportedly ambushed.
The Britain-based war monitor said earlier that fighting Thursday between HTS militants and opposition forces had killed 48 people in the coastal town of Jableh and adjacent villages in Latakia Governorate.
The SOHR described the coordinated attacks as “the most violent assaults against the new authorities since Assad was toppled” in early December last year.
At least 16 HTS militants were killed during clashes on Thursday in the the Mediterranean coastal province of Latakia, which is populated by Alawites and Shia Muslims.
The coastal region is also home to Khmeimim air base – a strategic Syrian base that Russia operates.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had earlier reported “strikes launched by Syrian helicopters on armed men in the village of Beit Ana and the surrounding forests, coinciding with artillery strikes on a neighboring village.”
Alawite leaders called in a statement on Facebook for “peaceful protests” in response to the helicopter strikes, which they said had targeted “the homes of civilians.”HTS militants imposed overnight curfews on Latakia, the port city of Tartus and the western city of Homs.
Tensions erupted after residents of Beit Ana, the birthplace of Suhail al-Hassan, a former high-ranking Syrian Army commander under Assad Government, prevented HTS militants from arresting an individual known for trading arms.
Hassan reportedly commanded an elite special mission forces division trained and equipped by Russia. His unit was known as the Tiger Forces.
During Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham’s advance on Aleppo late last year, Hassan ordered former Syrian military forces to “stop fighting and withdraw towards Damascus” before its fall.

Protests erupted against terrorist Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham rule & a new Resistance emerges from the ashes
Earlier this evening, a document circulated announcing the formation of the Military Council for the Liberation of Syria, reportedly signed by Brigadier General Ghiath Dala of the former Syrian military. It states that the armed groups currently rebelling against new authorities on the Syrian coast are working to “liberate all Syrian territory from occupiers and terrorist forces” and “overthrow the HTS regime.” It also called for “rebuilding state institutions on national and democratic foundations” and “establishing a unified, sovereign state consisting of all sects and ethnic groups.”
A security source cited by Al Jazeera claimed this council has received financial support from Iraqi resistance factions and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, as well as logistical support from the US-backed Kurdish militia, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
