• Mass evacuations ordered as wildfires engulf the Zionist colony

Massive wildfires near occupied al-Quds force evacuations, injure Zionist settlers, and prompt the Zionist colony to declare a national emergency as officials warn of worsening weather and possible arson.

Thick plumes of smoke blanketed highways near occupied al-Quds on Wednesday as fierce wildfires spread across wooded areas, prompting Security Minister

Katz to declare a “national emergency.” The brushfires, among the worst in recent years, led to evacuations across multiple illegal settlements and triggered the deployment of Zionist military units to assist firefighters.

The Zionist Magen David Adom (MDA) rescue agency reported that around 23 people were treated, with 13 hospitalized, many suffering from burns and smoke inhalation. The agency also confirmed that the alert level had been raised to its highest.”We are facing a national emergency, and all available forces must be mobilized to save lives and bring the fires under control,” Katz said in an official statement.

As flames intensified, police closed the key highway between occupied al-Quds and Tel Aviv, and several settlements were evacuated, including areas previously impacted by fires a week earlier. Eyewitnesses reported widespread panic, with drivers abandoning vehicles and dense smoke consuming roadways near Latrun and Bet Shemesh.

Fire chief Eyal Caspi stated, “We are apparently facing the largest fire in Israel in a decade.” With weather conditions grounding aircraft, the focus shifted to ground efforts aimed at saving lives.Economic losses
In an initial estimate by Yedioth Ahronoth, the cost of restoration after the major fires could reach hundreds of millions of shekels.

Meanwhile, a senior official in the Ministry of Finance, based on his prior experience, estimated that the cost of reconstruction from the major fires could exceed one billion shekels, depending on the extent of the spread.Yedioth Ahronoth noted that “the party responsible for funding the damages—whether the state or insurance companies—depends on the results of the fire investigation,” adding: “In any case, the state will have to finance the massive damage to infrastructure, roads, and forests, and assist those who are uninsured.”

    Arson accusations
Police Minister Itamar Ben Gvir claimed that arson may be behind the fires. Israeli police later announced the arrest of a resident from occupied East al-Quds caught attempting to ignite a field in the city’s southern area. While no formal link to the major fires was declared, Ben Gvir said authorities would act against any “arson terror” and maintain vigilance against unrest.

Emergency services positioned ambulance units near threatened communities and deployed a motorcycle team to aid civilians trapped in traffic. Authorities confirmed that at least five settlements were evacuated due to rapidly spreading fires fueled by strong winds and high temperatures.

Ben Gvir, who oversees the fire department, visited affected areas and said additional resources were being mobilized. He also ordered the cancellation of evening events tied to Thursday’s so-called “Independence Day” celebrations to redirect firefighters and equipment to critical zones.

    Exchange of Accusations Over Failure
Security sources, speaking to Channel 12, criticized the police and fire services, stating that they “failed, and there is a complete lack of understanding.”

The sources added that “they ignored warnings issued by the army regarding the possibility of fires breaking out today.”

At the same time, sharp criticism was also directed at National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who, according to Israeli media, “obstructed the purchase of firefighting helicopters that could have helped in dealing with the major fire.”

    Foreign support sought
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced it had contacted several countries, including Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Italy, and Bulgaria, for firefighting support. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that three firefighting aircraft from Italy and Croatia were en route to assist.

Forecasts further warned of worsening conditions as the fires rage on, engulfing Israeli-occupied Palestinian lands.

Why are huge wildfires in Palestine so common?
The Israeli occupation regime’s large-scale planting of European pine trees, non-native to Palestine, as part of efforts to reshape the landscape and obscure depopulated Palestinian villages, has significantly contributed to the region’s vulnerability to wildfires.

Unlike native Mediterranean flora, these fast-growing pines are highly flammable, with resinous wood and dense needle litter that ignites easily under dry, hot conditions. As climate change intensifies heatwaves and droughts, these monoculture forests have become tinderboxes, fueling massive, uncontrollable fires across the region and threatening both natural ecosystems and nearby communities.

  • ‘Prepare to face consequences’: Yemen warns UK after attacks on Sanaa

Yemen has targeted UK ships in the past in response to London’s participation in the former US administration’s campaign against the country.

The Yemeni government issued a statement on 30 April warning the UK against its continued participation in the US campaign of deadly airstrikes against Yemen that began last month.

“In a display of typical British arrogance, the UK Ministry of Defense announced participation in a joint military operation with the US enemy against our country, targeting areas south of Sanaa … The Government affirms that the British enemy must carefully consider the consequences of its involvement and be prepared to face the repercussions,” the Sanaa government said.

“While we pledge to respond to this unlawful and unjustified aggression, we stress that this attack is part of ongoing Anglo-American efforts to support the Israeli enemy by attempting to block Yemen’s support for Palestine – enabling the Israeli enemy to continue its genocide in Gaza,” it added.

The government statement also said Yemen will stand against the “trio of evil,” referring to the US, UK, and Israel, as well as “those who orbit around them.”

The statement came hours after the UK announced its first joint attack against Yemen with Washington since US President Donald Trump entered office this year.

The UK Defense Ministry claimed the strikes targeted a “cluster of buildings” used by the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) and Ansarallah movement for storing drones, adding that the attack came after “very careful planning” to avoid civilian casualties.

London played a primary role in the initial campaign against Yemen, launched in January 2024 by the former US administration of Joe Biden.

Yemeni forces targeted UK vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden a number of times last year in response.

The UK announcement came after at least six US airstrikes struck the Sanaa governorate on 29 April.

Two days ago, around 70 African migrants were killed in US strikes on a detention center in Saada governorate. Dozens of others were injured.

The Interior Ministry of the Sanaa government said the shelter, located in Saada’s reserve prison, was supervised by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Red Cross.

In response, the YAF said it targeted the USS Harry Truman in the Red Sea with missiles and drones, adding that it forced the aircraft carrier to retreat northward. It also said it targeted a “vital” Israeli site in the city of Ashkelon.

US warplanes have been launching deadly attacks against Yemen every day since 15 March, when Trump intensified the campaign that was started by the former administration last year.

The bombing campaign comes in response to Yemen’s reimposition of a ban on Israeli shipping in the Red Sea and elsewhere, as well as its renewal of drone and missile attacks on Israel after Tel Aviv restarted the war on Gaza last month.

Yemen has repeatedly targeted US aircraft carriers in response to Washington’s campaign, which has cost around $1 billion and has depleted weapons stocks, while failing to significantly impact the YAF and Ansarallah.

While the IOF claimed to target convoys and vehicles, the strikes wounded Druze civilians and caused material damage. According to Al-Mayadeen, the drone strikes targeted ammo and equipment depots belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Defense and resulted in two deaths; this aggression goes beyond the zionists’ stated reason of “protecting Druze from militias.” RNN

The Zionist military announced it evacuated three wounded Syrian Druze from Syria to receive medical treatment.

Of course, the Zionist Colony scores here major.

When the fake audio of the Druze leader was released, a large Syrian crowed called for sectarian killings of the Druze members and immediately, Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists were deployed in Sahnaya.

Once the sectarian killings started, Jolani, out of the playbook, distanced himself from the radicals, who, by chance, are also from Idlib, the Jolani stronghold.

Certainly, the new Syria under the terrorist Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham would never bring themselves to protest against the bloodshed and masscres on Alawites and the Druze.

Massive crowds emerged in Damascus to call for the extermination of Druze, which is prompting Druze leader Hassan Al-Atrash in Syria to make a 6-hour ultimatum calling for the end of aggression, or else they will seek external protection.

Even now, despite the events being “over,” local sources report that Syrian government forces are attacking with mortar shelling and gunfire on Al-Soura Al-Kabira in the northern part of the Druze capital of Suweida in southern Syria. RNN

It was only in March that Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists massacres 1700 people of the Alawite community and driven them out of their homes by means of ethnic cleansing.

Furthermore, “The new Syrian flag was raised in front of the UN building in New York in the presence of Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani.”

  • Minutes to leave: Syria’s Alawites evicted from private homes at gunpoint

Early one evening in late January, 12 masked men stormed the Damascus home of Um Hassan’s family, pointed AK-47 assault rifles in their faces and ordered them to leave.
When they presented ownership documents, the men arrested Um Hassan’s oldest brother and said they could only have him back once they had moved out. The family surrendered the house 24 hours later and picked him up, battered and bruised, from the local General Security Service headquarters, said Um Hassan, giving only her nickname for fear of reprisals. Her family is part of Syria’s minority Alawite community, an offshoot of the Shi’ite faith and the sect of former strongman Bashar al-Assad. Their story is not unique.
Since Syria’s “President” Ahmed al-Sharaa seized power in December, hundreds of Alawites have been forced from their private homes in Damascus by the security forces, according to Syrian officials, Alawite leaders, human rights groups and 12 people with similar accounts who spoke to Reuters.”

We’re definitely not talking about independent incidents. We are talking about hundreds, if not thousands, of cases of evictions,” said Bassam Alahmad, executive director of human rights group Syrians for Truth and Justice (STJ).
The mass evictions of Alawites from privately owned homes have not been previously reported.
For more than 50 years, Assad and his father before him crushed any opposition from Syria’s Sunni Muslims, who make up more than 70% of the population. Alawites took many of the top positions in government and the military and ran big businesses.

They now accuse supporters of Sharaa, who once ran an al Qaeda affiliate, of systematically abusing them as payback.
In March, hundreds of Alawites were killed in Syria’s western coastal region and sectarian violence spread to Damascus in apparent retribution for a deadly ambush on Syria’s new “security forces” by armed Assad loyalists.
Two government officials said thousands of people had been kicked out of homes in Damascus since Assad was toppled by Sharaa’s rebel force, with the majority being Alawites.

The officials said most resided in government housing associated with their jobs in state institutions and, since they were no longer employed, they had lost their right to stay.
But hundreds more, like Um Hassan, were evicted from their privately owned homes simply because they are Alawites, Reuters interviews with multiple officials and victims show.
The interior ministry, which oversees the GSS, and Sharaa’s office did not respond to requests for comment.

  • Continuing Zionist airstrikes in Lebanon render ceasefire meaningless: Norwegian Refugee Council

Zionist airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, the third airstrike on the capital just this month, is yet another reminder that the ceasefire has not brought a lasting peace for people in Lebanon, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has warned.

“The continued violations threaten the stability of the ceasefire agreed last year, and risk damaging the safety and wellbeing of civilians across the country,” said Maureen Philippon, NRC’s country director in Lebanon. “International guarantors of this agreement must not allow the dark days of death, destruction, and displacement to return.”

Despite the ceasefire, agreed on 27th November 2024, military activities by the Israeli military have continued, including artillery shelling, repeated airstrikes and airspace violations, affecting villages and cities across the country. According to the UN, 71 civilians have been killed by Israel since the ceasefire took effect.

“Civilians across Lebanon are still recovering from months of extremely violent escalation by Israel, which claimed thousands of lives and left many areas in ruins. Hundreds of thousands of people from villages close to the border are still unable to go back home, either because of the level of destruction or Israel occupying positions inside Lebanon and preventing returns,” added Philippon.

NRC calls on state guarantors of the cessation of hostilities agreement, and governments with influence, to use their leverage to contain the renewed tensions and ensure that all parties fully respect and implement the ceasefire agreement, allowing the truce to evolve into lasting peace and a firm commitment to protecting civilians and civilian infrastructure.

American military and political circles are in a state of shock after the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully drove a U.S. aircraft carrier out of territorial waters and shot down an F-18 fighter jet in a high-stakes operation—the second of its kind in the Red Sea.

The downing of the American fighter jet was no ordinary event. It delivered a painful blow to Washington, carrying multiple messages: that Yemen’s military is now fully capable of confronting adversaries with unmatched prowess, and that the Red Sea has become a graveyard for American warplanes.

CNN reported that the loss of the U.S. F-18 in the Red Sea following a Yemeni attack on the USS Truman struck Washington like a thunderbolt, as reflected in U.S. media coverage this Tuesday.

Barbara Starr, CNN’s former national security correspondent with over 20 years of experience, noted that the USS Truman’s abrupt, evasive maneuver to escape the attack marks a highly significant development. She added that this dramatic shift points to a major improvement in the Yemeni Armed Forces’ targeting and guidance capabilities.

Earlier, the U.S. Navy confirmed the loss of an F-18 from the USS Truman, hours after the Yemeni military spokesman announced clashes with the carrier, forcing it to retreat to the northernmost Red Sea.

U.S. media reports indicate that initial assessments reveal the USS Harry Truman executed a sharp turn to evade Yemeni fire, contributing to the fighter jet’s crash into the sea. The $60 million aircraft sank during the carrier’s high-speed maneuver, with the Pentagon admitting: “We are aware of an F-18 fighter jet and its tow tractor (missile carrier) going overboard, with one sailor injured.”

This marks the second U.S. admission of an F-18 loss. Previously, a similar F-18 was downed after being struck by Yemeni forces, damaging both the jet and its carrier.

In February, Fox News revealed that Yemeni forces targeted an F-18 with surface-to-air missiles—a first since clashes began between Sana’a and the U.S. Navy. Senior U.S. defense officials acknowledged this as a major escalation in military engagements between Yemeni forces and the U.S. Navy/Air Force.

  • Iraqi MP files lawsuit against Syrian president over ‘terrorist’ past

Iraq extended an invitation for the former Al-Qaeda leader to attend the Arab League Summit in Baghdad next month.

Iraqi Member of Parliament Alaa al-Haidari has filed a lawsuit with the Iraqi Public Prosecution against Jolani of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists entity, Shafaq News reported on 29 April.

In a video statement from the Supreme Judicial Council building, Haidari said, “I filed the complaint against the terrorist Julani, known as Ahmad al-Sharaa,” who “was part of ISIS organizations in Iraqi territory.”

This comes as the Syrian President received an official invitation from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on 27 April to attend the Arab League Summit scheduled to be held next month in the capital, Baghdad.

Informed sources told Shafaq News that an arrest warrant was issued by the Iraqi judiciary against Sharaa, previously known as Abu Mohammad al-Julani, in late 2024.

Sharaa became President of Syria after his armed group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), toppled former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s government in December and took power in Damascus.

HTS was previously known as the Nusra Front, which was established in 2011 when ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi sent Sharaa to Syria with fighters and money to establish a group to fight against the Assad government.

Sharaa had entered Iraq in 2003 to join the nascent insurgency following the US invasion, which had the goal of sparking a civil war between Iraq’s Sunni and Shia communities. Al-Qaeda in Iraq sent hundreds of car bombs to kill thousands of civilians in Shia areas, such as Najaf, Karbala, and Sadr City. The group later became known as the Islamic State in Iraq (ISI) and finally the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

While fighting for Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Sharaa was arrested by US forces and held in Camp Bucca prison, but then released under mysterious circumstances.

“While in Iraq, where he was a member of Al-Qaeda, Sharaa was arrested by the Americans between 2007 and 2008. However, he was later released by the Americans themselves. The Iraqis had no involvement, and no Iraqi judicial ruling was issued against him at the time,” sources speaking with Shafaq News stated.

“However, after detainees confessed to various terrorist charges against Julani, a subsequent arrest warrant was issued for him years ago, without a court ruling,” the sources added.

After traveling to Syria, Sharaa played a key role in the CIA operation to topple Assad that began in 2011. Timber Sycamore was the largest and most expensive operation in the agency’s history, with a budget of $1 billion per year, with assistance from Israeli, Turkish, Qatari, Saudi, French, and British intelligence.

  • Syria has fallen to fundamental-radical Islamist terror gangs backed by the West and Arab ‘leaders’

    RNN video excerpt

Deadly clashes erupt between Druze fighters, Jolani’s HTS terrorists –
Calls for sectarian violence flooded social media after a Druze cleric was accused of insulting the Prophet Muhammad.

Clashes erupted overnight between Druze militants and armed factions affiliated with Jolani’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists in the town of Jaramana in the Damascus outskirts, resulting in several deaths and injuries.

The fighting followed the circulation of a recording, attributed to a Druze cleric, insulting the Prophet Muhammad – sparking widespread anger and calls of incitement against minorities, including Druze and Alawites.

At least 12 people have been killed and others injured, including civilians, Druze fighters, and Jolani’s HTS terrorist members.

“Large military convoys gathered in a site near Jaramana city, to the flank of Al-Naseem neighborhood, and started shelling some neighborhoods, coinciding with the start of heavy gunfire,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said.

Druze religious leadership condemned the “unjustified” attack on Jaramana and said that Syrian authorities bear “full responsibility for the incident and for any further developments or worsening of the crisis.”

Druze cleric Youssef Jarbou said the “unacceptable” insult against the Prophet Muhammad does not represent the sect, and condemned calls on social media for violence against Druze as “an attempt to sow discord among members of Syrian society.”

Marwan Kiwan, the cleric accused of making the recording, denied responsibility.

“I categorically deny that the audio was made by me. I did not say that, and whoever made it is an evil man who wants to incite strife between components of the Syrian people,” he said.

Syria’s Interior Ministry said an initial probe confirmed that Kiwan was not responsible for the recording and urged people to abide by the law and not undermine security.

According to reports on Syrian telegram channels, there is speculation that the recording is a pretext and that the real reason behind the violence is a recent decision by the Suwayda Military Council to deploy forces to the borders of the mainly Druze city of Suwayda in southern Syria.

The council, a military body independent of the Damascus government, was formed in late February by former officers and local Druze fighters.

Clashes erupted between Druze fighters and security forces in Jaramana in early March, before a de-escalation saw security forces enter parts of the city.

Since former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s government collapsed in December, Syria has been plagued by a widespread Israeli occupation across large swathes of the country’s south.

Israel has claimed it wishes to support the Druze minority in Syria.

Minorities in Syria have faced violence and persecution at the hands of the new Syrian government. Last month, over 1,700 Alawites were killed in a series of sectarian massacres carried out by security forces.
