• Chief of General Staff of Yemeni Armed Forces survives zionist assassination attempt: Report

Chief of the General Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, has reportedly survived an assassination attempt after Israeli fighter jets carried out an airstrike against an area in the Arab nation’s capital.

The London-based and pan-Arab al-Araby al-Jadeed (New Arab) news outlet, citing sources speaking on condition of anonymity, reported that a massive explosion shook the southwestern neighborhood of Hadda in Sana’a late on Saturday, as Israeli warplanes bombed the district.

The sources added that the blast occurred as high-profile Yemeni military commanders, headed by Ghamari, were meeting to discuss a retaliatory operation against the occupying Tel Aviv regime.

Yemeni security forces immediately set up roadblocks at the site, and ambulances rushed to the scene.

According to Hebrew-language media outlets, the Israeli military is assessing the results of the aerial raid.

The Yemeni Ansarullah resistance movement has so far not issued any official statement regarding the assassination attempt directed at Ghamari, and his health condition following the attack.

Ghamari is purportedly among the most prominent military leaders in Yemen, having served as the chief of the general staff since December 2016.

He is also considered to be one of the most distinguished figures responsible for launching missile and drone strikes from Yemen towards the Israeli-occupied territories.

As the genocidal war on Gaza escalated, the Yemenis enforced a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes, to obstruct the delivery of military supplies to Israel and urge the international community to take action regarding the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared they will not stop their assaults unless Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.

The devastating zionist war has resulted in the deaths of at least 55,297 Palestinians so far, the majority of whom are women and children.

  • Fires reported at two Iranian refineries due to zionist attacks &  neighbourhood hit in Western Tehran

zionist attacks have caused fires in two refineries in the southern Iranian province of Bushehr, according to a report published in the local media.
The Tasnim news agency said in a Saturday report that the fires had started after two small zionist unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) hit onshore installations responsible for processing sour gas from the  South Pars gas field.
The report said the incidents caused explosions in the Fajr Jam Gas Refinery, one of the largest in Iran, and a small refinery unit in Phase 14 of the South Pars.
It said the situation in the refineries was under control, with air defense and rescue teams carrying out their duties on the scene.
There was no initial estimate about the damage caused by the explosions, the report said, adding that Iran’s Oil Ministry was investigating the incident and had yet to officially confirm it was the result of an attack.
South Pars is the world’s largest gas field, which straddles the maritime border between Iran and Qatar. It is responsible for more than 70% of Iran’s natural gas demand. The gas field has 24 active phases with a total of 13 refineries that turn sour gas into methane for injection into Iran’s nationwide pipeline network.
The attacks, if confirmed, would be Israel’s first assault on Iran’s energy infrastructure since the regime started a series of unprovoked airstrikes on Iran early Friday.
The Oil Ministry said in a statement later on Saturday that the fires in the two refineries had been controlled “in the shortest time possible”.
It said staff members in the refineries were now carrying out operations to stabilize production.
Iran’s air defenses have successfully intercepted a majority of small UAVs launched by Israel in the past 24 hours, with reports suggesting that only a handful of them have passed through the defenses.
Iran has carried out hundreds of missile and UAV attacks on Israel since late Friday, inflicting heavy damage on the regime.

  • Profiles: Prominent Iranian nuclear scientists assassinated in latest zionist aggression

In the early hours of Friday, at least nine prominent Iranian nuclear scientists were tragically killed in a brutal terrorist attack orchestrated by the zionist colony on their homes, which also resulted in the deaths of numerous civilians.

Among the victims were Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi and Fereydoun Abbasi, who media outlets described as significant figures in the advancement of Iran’s nuclear program.

Tehranchi, a theoretical physicist, was the president of Iran’s Islamic Azad University of Iran and also served as Vice President for Research and Technology at Shahid Beheshti University for over a decade.

Abbasi, a former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and ex-member of the Iranian parliament, held a PhD in nuclear physics and conducted research for the defense ministry.

He narrowly escaped an Israeli assassination attempt in Tehran in 2010, in which his colleague, nuclear scientist Majid Shahriari, was killed.

Other notable scientists who perished in the tragic Israeli assaults were Abdolhamid Minouchehr, Ahmad Reza Zolfaghari, Amir Hossein Faghihi, Motallebzadeh, Ali Karimi, Mansour Asgari, and Saeed Borji.

  • Two killed as zionist colony strike targets ambulance in northwest Iran: Red Crescent

At least two people were killed when a zionist attack targeted an ambulance in northwestern Iran, the Red Crescent Society reported.

The attack happened in the province of Western Azerbaijan on Saturday, the second day of fierce exchanges of fire between zionist and Iran.

No additional details about the strike were immediately available.

The Israeli regime launched an attack against Iran early on Friday, targeting the top military brass and multiple military, nuclear, and civilian sites across Tehran and other cities.

The unprovoked act of aggression, which came amid talks between Tehran and Washington over Iran’s nuclear program, sparked a massive retaliatory missile strike from Iran, sending millions of Israeli settlers into bomb shelters.

The Israeli regime said Saturday it would escalate the strikes tonight, and Iranian authorities pled

  • Iranian Navy intercepts British warship in Sea of Oman

The Iranian military announced that its naval forces intercepted a British destroyer in the Sea of Oman and forced it to retreat after a 24-hour surveillance operation.

According to a statement from the public relations office of the First Naval Region of Iran’s Navy, the British destroyer was detected entering the northern Indian Ocean last night. The statement said the vessel was allegedly planning to “guide zionist colony missiles.”

Combat drones from Iran’s navy reportedly issued direct warnings to the British ship, blocked its approach toward the Gulf waters, and forced it to change course.

Earlier today, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer had announced plans to send military equipment to the Middle East amid rising tensions between Iran and the colony.

  • ‘Any country helping defend the zionist enemy will have its regional assets targeted’: Tehran

As the US-zionist war against Iran rages for a second day, senior Iranian officials have vowed to escalate attacks on US, British, and French military positions.

On 14 June, Iranian state media published warnings from Iranian authorities directed at the US, UK, and France, saying that their regional military bases and naval vessels will be targeted if they intervene to stop Iranian strikes on Israel

“Any country that participates in repelling Iranian attacks on Israel will be subject to the targeting of all regional bases of the complicit government, including military bases in the Persian Gulf countries and ships and naval vessels in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea by Iranian forces,” a statement quoted by Mehr News Agency says.

“This confrontation will not end with last night’s limited actions and Iran’s strikes will continue, and this action will be very painful and regrettable for the aggressors,” senior military officials told Fars News Agency.

They added that in the coming days, the war would spread to “all areas” throughout Israel and “US bases in the region”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz was quoted in a statement warning that “Tehran will burn” if missiles continue to be launched at Israel, as back-and-forth fire continues for a second straight day.

Katz accused Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei of “turning the citizens of Iran into hostages,” and added that the residents of Tehran “will pay a heavy price because of the criminal harm to Israeli civilians.”

A large-scale Israeli air offensive on 13 June targeting Iranian nuclear and military infrastructure and personnel killed dozens of people, including Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) chief Hossein Salami, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, and several nuclear scientists.

Hundreds more were wounded, most of them civilians.

The strikes reportedly caused damage to nuclear sites in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow, and hit residential areas in Tehran, leading to civilian casualties, though no nuclear leaks have been reported to date.

Described by Iranian authorities as a “declaration of war,” Iran launched multiple waves of retaliatory strikes, including ballistic missiles and drone attacks on Israeli military sites, warning that any further escalation would extend to US and allied assets in the region.

Iran’s counterattack, dubbed “Operation True Promise III,” reportedly resulted in at least three civilian deaths and more than 60 injuries as multiple missiles bypassed the Iron Dome defense system and struck urban areas in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa, causing damage to homes and infrastructure.

Israeli officials confirmed damage to both residential and military sites, but reported limited fatalities.

  • At least 15 Palestinians killed in zionist colony strikes at notorious US-backed GHF aid site in Gaza

At least 15 Palestinians have been killed and tens of others injured after hundreds of people tried to enter an aid site run by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

On Wednesday, the zionist regime’s forces killed at least 57 aid seekers near GHF sites across the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported.

The UN and other aid groups refuse to cooperate with the GHF system, saying it contravenes the humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality, and independence.

Civilians are forced to seek help from GHF due to the Israeli regime’s ongoing ban on other aid organizations typically responsible for receiving and delivering aid to Gaza.

Palestinians, particularly children, have found themselves with no choice but to risk their lives to get food from GHF amid an Israeli-imposed aid blockade intentionally starving the 2.3 million population of Gaza.

The brutal blockade of food and aid entering Gaza is part of the Israeli regime’s wider plan to expel Palestinians from the besieged Strip.

GHF has been, and continues to be, complicit in an organized crime targeting civilians through the lure of “aid.”

Field reports document that within just two weeks of its operations, the foundation, through teams operating under the protection of occupation forces, caused the martyrdom of over 130 civilians who were shot directly while attempting to access food parcels at the checkpoints.

  • Jordan shuts down airport to ‘facilitate’ US arms shipments to the zionist entity: Report

Amman helped shoot down Iranian drones launched in response to the unprovoked zionist attack against the Islamic Republic

Sources informed The Cradle on 13 June that Jordanian authorities abruptly shut down one of the country’s main airports and restricted civilian traffic to use the facility for logistical support of Israel’s recent attacks on Iran.

According to the sources, military cargo planes have been arriving from the US and Europe through Jordanian airspace, believed to be carrying weapons and equipment bound for Israel.

Jordanian authorities have given no official explanation for the airport’s closure.

The move—described as “precautionary”—comes amid speculation that members of the Iran-backed Axis of Resistance in Jordanian territory could target such weapons shipments.

Independent security sources have tracked suspicious activity by unregistered aircraft over eastern Jordan in recent hours, coinciding with Israeli strikes on key facilities in Tehran, Isfahan, and Natanz, raising questions about the extent of Jordan’s intelligence and security coordination with Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, Jordan’s air force intercepted Iranian missiles and drones entering its airspace Friday, the Kingdom’s state news agency, Petra, reported.

The air force claimed it intercepted the missiles and drones because they were likely to fall within Jordanian territory, posing a threat to civilians.

Israel has been intercepting some of the 100 drones launched by Iran outside Israeli airspace, the Israeli military said.

When Iran attacked Israel in April 2024 as part of Operation True Promise, the Jordanian air force also shot down Iranian ballistic drones and missiles.

“Jordan’s participation in the defense of Israel demonstrates that while Amman needs to navigate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict sensitively, it is both broadly and closely aligned with US and Israeli regional security interests,” stated Jonathan Lord of the Center for a New American Security, following the 2024 Iranian attack.

Jordan’s support for Israel is politically sensitive, given the Kingdom’s large Palestinian population. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees found refuge in the Kingdom after being ethnically cleansed by Zionist militias during the Nakba, or “catastrophe” in 1948, and after Israel conquered and occupied the West Bank in the Six Day War in 1967, known by Palestinians as the Naksa, or “setback.”

Anger among Palestinians is high as a result of Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Israeli forces have killed over 100,000 Palestinians and destroyed massive swathes of the besieged enclave. Israeli leaders say they are seeking to starve and ethnically cleanse the remaining 2 million residents to open the way for Jewish settlement.
