Reuters on the false claims propaganda to fuel Western regime change ambitions

Reuters has meanwhile lost all credibility, specifically in its biased coverage of the Western-incited riots in Iran.

Without evidence or verification mechanisms, Reuters claims, “At least 5,000 people have been killed in Iran protests, official says
An Iranian ‍official in the region said on Sunday the authorities had verified at least 5,000 people had been killed in protests in Iran, including about 500 security personnel, blaming “terrorists and armed rioters” for killing “innocent Iranians”.

The official, who declined to ‍be named due to the sensitivity of the issue, also told Reuters some of the heaviest clashes and highest number of deaths were in the Iranian Kurdish areas in northwest Iran, a region where Kurdish separatists have been active and where flare-ups have been among the most violent in past periods of unrest.

France24 report

How could Reuters claim something that they cannot independently verify?

While Al Jazeera, who is reporting from Iran, refrains from giving specific numbers by stating that they cannot independently verify numbers, Reuters does not have a presence in Iran to make claims.

It is common practice at Reuters to cite “unnamed officials.”

Remains to question as to why Reuters is honoured with this much exclusive and direct attention ‘credit’ and other Western news outlets just copy and paste.

The Internet, and with this any information source to the outer world and vise-versa, has been rightfully cut off by authorities to restore peace and public order following the foreign-backed destabilization attempts.

By the way, the pro-zionist-american Iran International claims that over 12.000 have been killed during the riots.

Neither of these claims has ever been verified.

It is doubtful that the Kurds benefit their cause by every other year leaping at the american-zionist call to overthrow the Iranian government.

My recommendation is to watch Muhammad Marandi’s Demystifying Iran on Al Mayadeen or Muhammad Marandi at Electronic Intifada.

Funeral was held in Iran for the martyrs of the recent foreign-incited riots across the country.
