The abduction of Maduro has shown up the weaknesses of the Venezuelan military.

For almost 27 years, the Venezuelan military – formally known as the National Bolivarian Armed Forces (FANB) – was a firm ally to presidents Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro, as they systematically drifted from seeking an alternative to Western liberal democracy, and towards authoritarianism.

Rodriguez’s acceptance among military ranks is the weightiest reason why the US president has trusted her – rather than opposition leader Maria Corina Machado – to lead the political transition in the country.

Failing to adapt and work with Trump and Rodriguez could invite a new US armed attack.

It could be also argued that Mr. Arrogance himself has yet to overcome the feeling of jealousy at the face of vanquishing the Nobel Peace Prize to Machado.

When news of Maduro’s abduction broke early last Saturday, government opponents were euphoric, believing Venezuela was finally entering the “new era of American or Western democracy and reconstruction promised by the opposition leader María Corina Machado, the Nobel laureate they expected to lead that change. But those hopes were soon dashed as Trump announced he would recognise Rodríguez, one of Maduro’s closest allies, and work with the remnants of his regime to “stabilise” the country.

The greater majority of Venezuela will remember Machado for the treachery of begging the US and the zionist regime to invade and attack Venezuela so to bring about a regime change.

Machado publicly professed her loyalty to the zionist regime while the entire world has been denouncing its acts of genocide in the Palestinian territories.

This prestige-crushing act reframed her as persona non grata in Venezuela.

However, Trump most certainly would not choose the same regime following a laboriously achieved external coup.

Trump’s strategic pick will prevent an Iraqi style debacle as Rodríguez, the daughter of a Marxist [Marxism:Jew product] martyr, has the backing of the army.

Additionally, she is as submissive as Machado to American or Western dictates.

Though not very pleased, the majority in Venezuela is content with this outcome.

They will accustom themselves and adopt the status of becoming mighty America’s  colony.
