Lawless Trump declared that the US will ‘essentially run’ Venezuela following the release of a photo depicting Maduro with his eyes and ears covered aboard the US warship Iwo Jima.

Trump announced the military mission in the early hours on Saturday morning, confirming that a ‘large scale strike’ was carried out in Venezuela. He added that the operation was done in conjunction with US Law enforcement. 

Although authorities haven’t confirmed where Maduro and Flores will be detained, defendants awaiting trial in federal court are typically kept at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Luigi Mangione, who is awaiting a murder trial in the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is currently in custody at MDC. Diddy, Ghislaine Maxwell, and R. Kelly also served time at MDC.

Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed that Maduro is facing criminal drug trafficking charges from a 2020 indictment.

Venezuelans, the hour of freedom has arrived,’ Machado said in a translated statement.

Machado praised the US for fulfilling a promise to enforce the law, given Maduro’s refusal to exit office after it was widely accepted that he had lost the election.

She said that Edmundo Gonzalez, the candidate who ran against Maduro and was recognized by the US as the rightful president-elect, should assume office immediately.

‘Today we are prepared to enforce our mandate and take power,’ Machado said.

‘We are going to restore order, release the political prisoners, build an exceptional country, and bring our children back home.’
