Three Alevi protesters were killed, and 60 injuries were reported in attacks by Sunni extremists and Jolani’s HTS terrorists Latakia.

The demonstrations began following a call from Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, head of the Supreme Alawite Islamic Council, who urged people to take to the streets in peaceful demonstrations to reject “the killings and incitement that threaten civil peace.”
