Despite Being Previously Inspected by UNIFIL, z¿onist Enemy Threatens to Strike House in South Lebanon

The z¿onist enemy threatened on Saturday to strike a house in the southern Lebanese town of Yanouh, Tyre District, near a UNIFIL barracks, after claiming suspicion of weapons presence.

According to Al-Manar’s correspondent in south Lebanon, the house had already been inspected earlier by the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL following a request submitted through the Mechanism committee, and the inspection confirmed that it was free of weapons in line with approved procedures.

After the inspection, the zionist enemy, again through the Mechanism committee, requested that the house be searched a second time, coinciding with the presence of a hostile zionist drone over the area.
The renewed request sparked anger among local residents, who rejected the re-inspection, denouncing what they described as a humiliating zionist approach aimed at turning the Lebanese Army into an executive tool for enemy demands.

Despite the Israeli threat and the so-called “evacuation order,” the Lebanese Army deployed in the vicinity of the house and entered it without a UNIFIL escort after UNIFIL forces withdrew from the area. An army unit remained positioned around the site until the morning to protect the house from any potential zionist attack. Reports suggesting a new request to reinspect the house were later denied as inaccurate.

The video below, circulated on social media, shows the Lebanese Army patrol heading for the threatened house in Yanouh. The zionist enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day zionist war between September and November 2024.
