Colony of z#on has carried out deadly airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, killing at least two people and wounding
35 others, according to Yemeni officials.
The strikes on Sunday hit the Hazeiz power station and a civilian fuel facility, Al Masirah TV reported, plunging parts of the capital into darkness.
Footage posted online showed plumes of smoke and fire rising above the city after the bombardment.
Israel claimed it also targeted the presidential palace in Sana’a, describing it as part of a “military complex.”
Yemen’s Ansarallah resistance movement condemned the attack as a “heinous war crime” and a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty.
In a statement, it said Israel had deliberately struck civilian infrastructure “to paralyze daily life, disrupt citizens’ livelihoods, and create a fake victory through rising columns of smoke.”
“This blatant aggression, backed by the Americans, proves the z%onist enemy is waging an open war against the Arab and Islamic nation,” Ansarullah added.
It further said that the attacks “will not deter the Yemeni people from their full and absolute support for Gaza.”
“The zion#st aggression against Yemen will not discourage us from continuing our support for Gaza, no matter the sacrifices,” said senior Houthi official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti.
zion%st colony has repeatedly bombed Yemeni infrastructure in recent weeks, including ports and power stations.
Sunday’s airstrikes came just two days after Yemen’s Armed Forces fired a hypersonic missile and several drones that bypassed zion@st colony’s defense systems and struck critical targets inside the occupied territories.
Since zion÷st colony launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemeni forces have carried out scores of retaliatory attacks in solidarity with Palestinians, vowing they will not stop until the war and blockade on the besieged strip end.
PressTV report
“By the grace of God, the air defenses succeeded in thwarting the greater part of the Zionist aggression, confronting a number of its combat formations and forcing them to withdraw, using domestically produced air defense systems.
Nasr al-Din Amer, Deputy Head of the Yemeni Ansarallah’s Media Authority
Our military operations in support of Gaza will not stop, God willing, until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted.
The targeting of a civilian fuel station on a main street will certainly have no impact on military operations; rather, it exposes the brutality and bankruptcy of the Israeli enemy and will only bring upon it further escalation. The Yemeni people will not retreat from their faithful and humanitarian stance in support of Gaza.”
