A Lebanese citizen was martyred in a new zion*st attack on south Lebanon, amid other violations of the country’s sovereignty on Saturday.

Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle on Twairi-Srifa road in Tyre district.

The Lebanese Health Ministry announced later that the strike killed a Lebanese citizen.

Local media identified the martyr as Ali Abdul Qader Ismail, from the southern town of Safad Al-Battikh.

Meanwhile on Saturday, our correspondent reported that a zionist glider loaded with a bomb crashed east of the southern border town of Mais Al-Jabal. The Lebanese Army then dismantled the crashed glider, the reported added.

For its part, the Lebanese army confirmed that a zionist glider crashed in the outskirts of Mais Al-Jabal.

“An army patrol secured the area around the crash site, detonated the hand grenade, and transported the drone to the relevant unit for inspection and necessary action,” the Lebanese Army announced in a post on X platform.

Later on Saturday, an Israeli drone strike targeted the town of Dhibaal in southern Lebanon, according to Al-Manar. The Lebanese Health Ministry confirmed that the strike claimed the lives of two civilians.

Earlier on Friday, a Lebanese citizen was martyred and another was injured in several Israeli attacks on south Lebanon.

The Israeli enemy continues to bomb southern Lebanon almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.

The Zionist occupation has also struck Beirut four times since the ceasefire agreement.

More than 200 Lebanese people have been martyred in the Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect on November 27, 2024.
