Hama province: An Alawite man and his nine-year-old child were killed by unknown gunmen after storming their home in Jadrin town in western Hama countryside.
The victims belonged to the Alawite community, raising fears of sectarian motives or veiled security messages, especially with similar incidents recurring in areas where security tensions are increasing.
The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 870 people, including 30 women and 16 children, in murder crimes and eliminations that come under retaliatory actions in different Syrian provinces since early 2025.
