Two crew members aboard the Liberia-flagged, Greek-operated bulk carrier Eternity C were killed following an attack by sea drones and speedboats off the coast of Yemen on Monday evening, Liberia’s shipping delegation reported during a UN International Maritime Organization (IMO) meeting on Tuesday.

These fatalities are the first since June 2024 and raise the total number of seafarers killed in Red Sea vessel attacks to six.
