As the z*onist occupation army shifts its operational focus following its war on Iran, it has filled the military vacuum in Gaza with a daily stream of massacres. On top of routine mass killings targeting civilians waiting for, or collecting, aid from US-backed distribution centers. Friday witnessed yet another atrocity: mass strikes on displaced families sheltering in tents in northwest Gaza City and Khan Younis.

These families had previously fled from Jabalia, Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and neighborhoods stretching from Jabalia al-Balad to al-Tuffah and Shujaaiya. Forced into makeshift tents at intersections and streets across western Gaza, they are enduring horrific conditions, crowded spaces, no privacy, scarce hygiene supplies, limited clean water, and no proper bedding.

However, for over half a million forcefully displaced people, these hardships were not the end. The Israeli occupation army pursued them with suicide drones and incendiary missiles. In al-Jalaa Street, two people were martyred when a tent sheltering families was hit. Another airstrike on a gathering in al-Zaytoun, east of Gaza City, caused the martyrdom of three more. Near al-Helou Hospital in northwest Gaza, a man was martyred and several others injured when another tent was bombed. In Khan Younis, a girl was martyred and three others injured in an attack on their tent in Mawasi area.

Furthermore, in Sheikh Radwan, northwest Gaza City, reconnaissance drones bombed a tent used for charging phones, causing the martyrdom of seven and injuring others. Three displaced civilians also were martyred in Yarmouk camp on al-Wahda Street. That evening, Israeli warplanes struck tents in Darabieh camp, northwest Gaza, causing the martyrdom of seven more and injuring dozens. In Deir al-Balah camp, an airstrike on a home caused the martyrdom of 11 people and injured many others.

All these massacres took place in densely populated areas of displaced families, where thin sheets of nylon or cloth separated each tent, and each strike wiped entire families in seconds. Meanwhile, The occupation also maintained its daily slaughter of aid-seekers: thirty starving civilians were shot dead while waiting for food in the Netzarim area of central Gaza.

In parallel, the military media of Al-Qassam Brigades released footage showing fighters carrying out a successful ambush in the Zanna neighborhood east of Khan Younis. The video shows explosive devices detonated under occupation vehicles and two resistance fighters chasing an Israeli vehicle with light weapons, forcing it to retreat. Al-Quds Brigades also reported detonating an explosive device targeting a z*onist vehicle on Street Five in Khan Younis.
