i24NEWS diplomatic affairs correspondent Amichai Stein reports a US official stated: “Preparations are underway for the possibility of joining an attack on Iran—if President Donald Trump gives the green light.”
The same official noted that such a decision is typically made by the US Secretary of Defense, but in this case, it was Trump who approved the preparations and the decision to deploy forces in West Asia. The official added that “US Central Command believes joining the attack is necessary, but some senior administration officials currently oppose the move.”
