Jolani about to expel Palestinian fractions while the ‘Lebanese PM’ embarks on disarming Palestinian refugee camps

Jolani of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists pressures Palestinian factions to leave Damascus –

Palestinian sources confirmed to AFP on Friday that several leaders of Palestinian resistance factions formerly based in Syria have recently left the country following growing pressure from Syrian HTS authorities, including the confiscation of properties.

A senior figure from one of the affected factions, speaking anonymously, said that most leaders have departed Damascus for countries such as Lebanon. According to him, these groups were forced to surrender their arms to the Syrian state under Ahmad al-Sharaa (Julani). A second source from a smaller faction confirmed that their departure came amid increasing restrictions by Damascus.

It is highly likely that the Jolani terrorist leader would keep Hamas in the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham stronghold Idlib.

Lebanon to Begin Disarming Palestinian Camps in Mid-June

A government source told AFP that disarming Palestinian camps in Lebanon will begin in mid-June. At the first meeting of the joint committee on camp affairs, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam welcomed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s decision to resolve the issue, calling it vital for improving Lebanese-Palestinian relations. The meeting reaffirmed Lebanon’s commitment to national sovereignty and agreed on a clear timeline and mechanism for disarmament. It also emphasized coordination to ensure camp stability and improve refugee conditions. Joint meetings will intensify to implement the process promptly. Abbas recently visited Beirut to reinforce support for the plan.
