Multiple Zionist airstrikes have hit targets in Syria in recent days, amid escalating clashes between armed Druze factions and pro-government forces.
The Zionist colony bombed the vicinity of self-appointed Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa’s residential compound in Damascus early on 2 May, in what was described as “a clear message to the Syrian regime.”
“This is a clear message to the Syrian regime. We will not allow forces to be sent south of Damascus or any threat to the Druze community,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced in a joint statement.
Katz reiterated a while later that the attack near the presidential palace was a “clear warning to the Syrian regime,” adding that “When Julani (Sharaa) wakes up in the morning and sees the results of the Israeli Air Force fighter jets’ strike, he understands that Israel is determined to prevent harm to the Druze in Syria.”
“It is his duty to protect the Druze in the suburbs of Damascus from attacks by jihadist rioters and to enable the hundreds of thousands of Druze in Suwayda and Jabal al-Druze to defend themselves on their own, and not to send jihadist forces into the villages. It is our duty to protect the Druze in Syria from harm, for the sake of our Druze brothers in Israel, their loyalty to the state, and their immense contribution to Israel’s security,” Katz added.
Sharaa was the head of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the former Al-Qaeda affiliate, which toppled the government of Bashar al-Assad in December last year. In the early years of the Syrian war, when the group was known as the Nusra Front, it received air cover from Israeli fighter jets and at one point had its fighters treated at Israeli hospitals in the occupied Golan Heights.
While the Zionist colony has repeatedly threatened Sharaa since his government came to power in Syria, the interim president and administration have signaled that they do not intend to pose any threat to Tel Aviv.
Israel’s new threats come after fierce clashes between armed factions affiliated with the Syrian Defense Ministry and Druze militiamen in Jaramana, Sahnaya, and Suwayda. Dozens were killed, including civilians and militants from both sides.
Tel Aviv has publicly assumed the role of protecting Syria’s Druze community. Over the last two days of clashes, it launched several airstrikes on Syria targeting state security forces.
The clashes came to an end on Thursday after an agreement was reached for the Druze to hand over weapons to the government and allow security forces to enter Jaramana in the Damascus outskirts.
Minorities in Syria have faced violence and persecution at the hands of the new Syrian government. Last month, over 1,700 Alawites were killed in a series of sectarian massacres carried out by security forces.

Zionist leader Netanyahu’s office announces that the PM spoke with Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Zionist colony’s Druze community, to discuss recent developments. Sheikh Tarif thanked Netanyahu for his actions to protect the Druze in Syria, including the strike near the presidential palace in Damascus.
Netanyahu also emphasized the importance of the Druze community continuing to uphold ‘the law’ in the Zionist colony, while Sheikh Tarif assured him that Druze leaders condemn violence and remain committed to respecting the rule of law.

This warning strike, once again, proves how close Netanyahu is to the Greater “Israel” project.
Jolani and his Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries will not be able to stand a chance against the Zionist colony’s fighter jets bombings.
According to Iran’s rise and rivalry with US, during the period from 2012 and 2016, 55 fighters from Pakistan, 255 from Afghanistan, 342 from Iran, and 878 from Lebanon lost their lives in Syria.
They were fighting against the takfiris and the Zionist colony’s strikes to protect Syria.
Backed by the AMERICAN-BRITISH entity, Jolani had an easy game when marching down to take over Damascus.
To that time, the Hezbollah fighters were redeployed to fight and protect Lebanon.
In essence, Netanyahu signals with these most recent “warning strikes” that Syria will be an integral part of the Zionist colony project.
Jolani will not be able to maintain the Syrian throne.
