Southern Lebanese Village Mayor Condemns False Israeli Claims and Calls for Action

Raif Bzeih, Zebqin village mayor, condemned “Israel’s” false claims that two martyrs from the village were killed by while working on infrastructure for the resistance, asserting that their work was purely civilian. The Lebanese army later confirmed that “no military equipment was present at the site.”

In a statement on behalf of the villagers, he denounced the Lebanese state’s silence and negligence in addressing the unjust killing of its citizens, urging it to fulfill its basic duties to those defending the land.
