The world marks International Quds Day

On the occasion of International Quds Day, people took part in a mass rally in Budgam, Kashmir, in solidarity with Palestine.

Iran, Iraq, and Yemen marked International Quds Day with large public demonstrations, held for the second consecutive year amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza. Thousands gathered in Tehran, waving Iranian, Palestinian, and Hezbollah flags. In Baghdad, hundreds of protesters raised Palestinian and Lebanese flags, with some stepping on the Israeli flag.

A symbolic model of the Dome of the Rock mosque was displayed on the stage, alongside images of prominent resistance leaders, including former Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and former Hamas political bureau head Ismail Haniyeh.

Hamas praised the widespread participation in the “Friday of Rage for Palestine and Global Quds Day in Arab and Islamic capitals and cities.” The movement called for continued action in coming days to intensify pressure, halt Israeli aggression on Gaza, break the siege, and prevent further massacres of innocent civilians.
