Hezbollah and Amal condemned recent calls on social media inciting hostility against Syrian refugees in Lebanon, especially in the south, Bekaa Valley, and Beirut’s southern suburbs.

In a joint statement, they denounced the spread of false messages urging Syrians to leave under threat, aimed at stirring sectarian tensions. They called on Lebanese citizens to handle sensitive issues responsibly and avoid spreading fabricated information.

The groups urged authorities to investigate and act against those behind the incitement and affirmed their support for security efforts to maintain stability.
