Zionist enemy opens fire at an iftar gathering in South Lebanon & other IOF crimes

Zionist drones were flying intensively at low altitude over the Eastern Mountain Range in Bekaa and reconnaissance planes were conducting extensive flights over villages in the eastern sector.

The Lebanese Army condemned Zionist enemy’sescalating attacks on Lebanese citizens, following the shooting and abduction of a soldier near Kfar Shouba, South Lebanon.

In a statement, the army said that on March 9, an Israeli force opened fire on a soldier in civilian capacity near the border town, wounding him before taking him into occupied territory. This incident follows the killing of another Lebanese soldier in Kfar Kela – Marjaayoun the previous day.

Meanwhile, Al-Akhbar reported that the army has yet to receive word from UNIFIL on the release of the abducted soldier, Ziad Shibli.
