A flight from Iraqi Airways arrived at Beirut Airport this morning, carrying Lebanese citizens who were stranded in Iran due to the Lebanese government’s refusal to allow Iranian airline flights to land. According to Al-Akhbar, the Iranian government coordinated their transfer to Lebanon via Iraq after Mahan Air denied permission for Middle East Airlines (MEA) to land in Iran.
The passengers were flown to Baghdad, where they were supposed to return to Lebanon on MEA flights. However, MEA refused to allow any luggage and insisted on transporting passengers without their bags. As a result, the Iraqi government arranged a special flight, permitting passengers to bring as much luggage as they wanted without weight restrictions.
Obviously, Iran had valid reasons to refuse permission for the Lebanese airline MEA.
It is incredible how the Lebanese Government put impediments and restrictions in place to make it as uncomfortable and as cumbersome as possible for its own people just to appease the American-Zionist entity.
