The loss of an entire leadership line; conceding Syria & the Gaza genocide continues

Admittedly, it has not been the best year on record. Neither was it the worst.

With that in mind, may knowledge and patience be your depository to set ink on paper or use the electronic medium to spread the word.

Never stop talking or posting on injustice.

Stay vigilant!

The Sayyed used to always start and end his speeches by wishing people God’s peace and blessings.

He is no longer among us, but His spirit and teachings are.

The intriguing international community

French Minister of Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu warned today about the fragility of the ceasefire in south Lebanon, noting that the five-member oversight committee has recorded 300 violations. During his visit to a UNIFIL base in the town of Deir Kifa, he emphasized the importance of the French-American mechanism in monitoring these violations.

Lecornu stated that his visit serves as a starting point for planning the remaining 26 days of the ceasefire, which he acknowledged is fragile and requires commitment from both sides. He highlighted the need for the Lebanese Armed Forces to be deployed in areas previously held by Hezbollah and where Israeli forces are present by the end of the agreed timeframe. Lecornu is visiting Lebanon alongside French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barot, and they met with Lebanese Army Commander Joseph Aoun before spending New Year’s Eve with French troops in UNIFIL.

Al Akhbar on Telegram Channel

In the quotation below the Sayyed refers to the statements by the UN overseer Terj Roed-Larsen on the implementation of Resolution 1559.

When the issue concerns the Lebanese, Palestinians, and Syrians, Larsen says things as they are; but when it concerns Israel, Larsen omits to mention the perpetrator; this is the international report’s sense of justice. He says that the heavy exchange of fire between Hezbollah and Israel on June
29 resulted in the death of a UNIFIL soldier and the wounding of four
others, in reference to the French officer.!’ Because it was Israel who had killed the French officer and wounded the four other UNIFIL soldiers, because Israel was the perpetrator, Larsen does not mention the killer’s identity; he just says that they were killed or wounded in a clash between
Hezbollah and Israel.

History keeps on repeating itself!

As in the Al Akhbar report above, Lecornu firstly obfuscated the true count of violations of the ceasefire agreement, which has meanwhile reached 900.

Secondly, he obliterated to name ‘Israel’ as the true aggressor to commit ceasefire violations. These ceasefire violations must not be taken lightly, as they have cost more than 40 lives in South Lebanon and are still counting.

Lastly, he parrots exactly the recent statements of the ‘Israeli’ colony, published by Haaretz.

The IOF intends to remain in South Lebanon, under the pretext that the Lebanese Army has not yet taken full control of the border area.

On its part, the Lebanese government reiterates and urges the IOF to finally leave South Lebanon and cease detonations and bombings.

As the Sayyed so eloquently phrased it, “you can be sure that the international community is not only unjust, but an intriguer as well … “

Sayyed Abbas Mussawi said, “We will complain about all the oppression our nation has been witnessing, and we will complain about the rulers and the regimes … ”

We must follow his example and complain, and we must explain our case patiently on repeat until death ears revive.

The following is an anecdote from Imam Ali Abu Talib’s book Nahjul-Balagha.

The Sayyed was a direct descendant of the great Imam. May His knowledge and infinite patience guide us against all tyranny to finally liberate Al Quds.

Imam Ali Ibin Abu Talib on Wealth

The great sahabi Salman al-Farisi is quoted as having said that the Messenger of Allah said, “I am the city of knowledge, and Ali is its gate.”

When the Kharijites heard about it, they envied Ali, so ten of their folks gathered and said, “Each one of us will ask Ali one question so we may see how he answers us. If he provides each one of us with the same answer, we will come to know that he really has no knowledge.”

One of them went and asked him, “O Ali! Which is better, knowledge or wealth?” The Imam said to him, “Knowledge is better.” He asked him, “What is your proof?” He said, “Knowledge is the legacy of prophets, whereas wealth is the heritage left by Qarun, Haman and Pharaoh.”

The man returned and informed his fellows of his answer. Another man stood up, went and asked the Imam the same question. Ali said to him, “Knowledge is better than wealth because you guard wealth, whereas knowledge guards you.” Having heard this answer, the Kharijite returned to his follows to convey it to them.

A third man rose, went and asked the Imam the very same question, whereupon the Imam provided him with this answer: “Knowledge is better than wealth because one who has wealth has many enemies, while a man of knowledge has many friends.” The Kharijite returned to his follows with this answer.

The fourth man stood up, walked towards the Imam and put forth to him the very same question to which the Imam answered saying, “Knowledge is better than wealth because wealth decreases by spending, whereas knowledge increases.” The fourth man returned to his companions to provide them with the answer of the Imam.

Now a fifth man stoop up and went to the Imam to ask him the same question as did his fellows, and the Imam’s answer was: “Knowledge is better than wealth because a wealthy man is taunted of being miser and always blamed, but the man who has knowledge is always honoured and respected.” The questioner returned to his group with this answer.

A sixth man from among these Kharijites stood up, went and asked Imam Ali the same question to which the Imam answered as follows: “Knowledge is better than wealth because a man of wealth is always apprehensive of being robbed of his wealth, whereas nobody entertains such fear about knowledge.” The man returned to his fellows with this answer.

Their seventh man stood up and went to the Imam to ask him the very same question. The Imam provided him with this answer: “Wealth wears out and disappears by the passage of time, whereas knowledge neither wears out nor disappears.” This man returned to his fellows to convey the Imam’s answer to his question.

Now it was the turn of the eighth man to go to ask the Imam this question. Unfortunately, the area of the ancient manuscript from which this incident is quoted is damaged, or the copier overlooked it; surely Allah knows best.

The ninth man stood up, walked towards the Imam and put forth to him this same question and the Imam’s beautiful answer was as follows: “Knowledge is better than walth because wealth causes one’s heart to be hard, whereas knowledge enlightens the heart.”

Finally, their tenth man stood up, walked towards the Imam and asked him exactly as his other fellows had asked the gate of knowledge of the Prophet, and the Imam answered him with this statement: “Knowledge is better than wealth because one who has wealth is proud and arrogant, whereas one who is knowledgeable is humble and simple.”

The Kharijites unanimously admitted that Allah and his Prophet say the truth; there is no doubt that Ali is the gate to all norms of knowledge. It is then that Ali said, “By Allah do I swear that if all people ask me, as long as I live, I shall never fret, and I shall always give each of them an answer which is different from any other answer up the end of time.”
