Hezbollah official Sheikh Ali Damoush:
Nearly 90 per cent of surveys were completed in Beirut southern suburbs, Bekaa, and Mount Lebanon, and 80 per cent in the South, excluding the border areas.
Compensations are disbursed in the name of the affected individuals through Al-Qard Al-Hassan branches.
Necessary funding is secured thanks to the Iranian people.
Our priority has been providing shelter for families whose homes were completely destroyed and repairing partially damaged houses to help residents return.
We appeal to landlords and furniture retailers to lower rents and furniture prices to ease the burden on those affected.
To our people in the border villages, we assure you that we will rebuild your homes and communities.
Our people can visit Jihad al-Binaa website to review the criteria for disbursing compensation payments.
