‘Israeli’ media reported that around 100 ‘Israeli’ aircraft participated in an aggressive operation targeting Yemen. Al Mayadeen’s correspondent revealed that the strikes hit a lounge at the airport where sick passengers had gathered.
In addition to the airport, ‘Israeli’ airstrikes also hit areas in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, and the governorate of Hodeidah on Thursday, according to Yemeni media.
Sources close to Al Mayadeen described the targeting of civilian facilities as evidence of the “enemy’s failure” in establishing credible targets within Yemen.
“The occupation entity should not lie in wait for Sanaa’s response,” sources warned, asserting that Yemen’s military operations will continue despite the attacks.
Sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the Israeli aggression on Sanaa Airport occurred while two prominent UN officials were present: the WHO Director and the UN Resident Coordinator.
Additionally, the co-captain of a UN airplane was injured and transported to a hospital, and two airport employees were also killed in the attack.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, the Israeli attack on Hodeidah took place with the coordination of the US Navy, through its warships deployed in the region.
